KTF 2015 Burn 5-1 Quad 1 (First Five Minutes)

Burn 5-1 was done to demonstrate the effects on pretreating an area with 0.40% Novacool solution. A total of 8 gallons of solution was applied to the four walls and ceiling prior to placing the fuel load in the room (couch). This video shows the first three minutes of the burn once ignition took place. A total of 7 gallons of Novacool solution was utilized to extinguish the fire. There was no extension outside of the original fire room. There was no overhaul done on the couch once it was removed from the house.
