So sorry to hear that some of your family have not recovered. My heart is with you. We pray every noon against COVID, the Demon that is set on destroying us, and praying for all that have been affected (either have it or even lost loved ones to it) for strength and comfort. Grieving is never easy. I lost my Mom 15 years ago to Pancreatic Cancer and my Dad 2 years ago from Congestive Heart failure. May God bless you.
You have a gifted family, the little one says I LOVE YOU because he repeats what he hears, your family shows love to one another more than most family do. GOD BLESS YOU & FAMILY.
Your situation seems so chaotic - I realize some things are beyond our control but you guys are living in what seems to be a constant state of flux. Your daughter does not appear to be as "comfortable" with the living situation as you are. And this is not all to judge but just to say that sometimes disorder becomes a way of life before we know it, and the quality of our life is greatly impacted without our being aware as to why. In any event, good luck and best wishes to you and your family.
I have only been watching your channel for a short time, but I’ve fallen in love with your life style and how you are raising your children. I’m 78 and spent 55 years working on the railroad (CHESSIE System and CSX). From Huntington WV and moved to Jacksonville FL. During my years in WV I married a man that “had to have” a farm. We bought 161 acres in Milton WV (south of Charleston) and I sold my big house in a subdivision. You can imagine the lifestyle change for me. He was from the farm life. I put a well on the farm, drainage in the 1/2 mile road up the Hollow and took a railroad tank car (with ends cut out) and laid it in the creek to make a bridge. These days you sure couldn’t do that-the bridge is still doing a great job. We never lived on the farm (divorce) so I never learned to love it. I so admire the way you are raising your family. Those children will be exemplary adults. Don’t pay attention to the critics, they just don’t understand.
20-30 years from now you and the children will treasure the "hard times" when you were all crowded into the trailer. Sorry you had to move out of the rental temporarily but glad you'll get back there for the winter.
That face when you mentioned that you all feel real comfortable back at the home instead of the rental...lol. She looked like she was having a real good time with having all that space at the rental...lol.
So many opinions about the title... seems silly that so many are taking it so seriously. They could name the video “We bought a camel 🐪!?” And you know we would all still watch it to find out it was a toy camel. Not deceptive not “clickbait” ... y’all act like you were somehow tricked into watching this video which you were going to watch anyway whatever the title was! Love the family dynamic, love the way you are raising the children, love your homestead, and all will be done in God’s time. Some people never mastered the art of if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all or just keep scrolling. Watched every video, liked every video, give money through Patreon to help them and I do this with a happy heart as I know the most important work they will ever do in their lives is raising those children and look what a magnificent job they have done so far! Maybe consider that the kids, his wife, his income stream are all his priority and he gets work done on the house when he can. I think many of you are missing the bigger picture. If he keeps his priorities right where they should be, which is again playing a huge part in what kind of people his kids turn out to be but also in nourishing his marriage, there is ZERO chance in 20 years he will look back and say “you know, I wish I would have built that house faster”. Great job Art and Bri! Love this channel!
Happy Sunday, You don't know me, but I have been following you for about 3 years now. I pray for you and love the homestead community you have here on youtube. and the fact you help one another for real!!! I watched you go help each other and I love it. I just ordered a fermenting kit, I missed your enrollment for your course. Blessings to you all.
Well glad your back in the rental. Alot of work for 1 week. You all are troopers to have done that. Love the sound of the creek in the background. It's so relaxing.
Grace's face when Art says "We are comfortable here". It looks like a sarcastic "Yeah, sure dad whatever you say". I wonder what she was really thinking.
So glad this was a temporary move. Bri looked so happy there. I guess since you knew about it ahead of time, it was less stressful. Have a Blessed day.
At the 8 minute mark "all of us feel really at home here" Your daughter's reaction is priceless in the background. Haha...great content, I love the channel.
I thought the same but when I went back to watch it again, I realised she was looking off into the distance and maybe her reaction was towards whatever she was looking at. If that's the case, it was perfectly timed for maximum effect ;)
I'm glad to see you'll be going back to the rental & the update was nicely paced and peaceful. Bless him for repeating I love you bc he knew it was an affectionate act without understanding the words themselves. You have a beautiful family.
I remember Brighton climbing up and down the steps. Thank you for the words of encouragement. You all bless me. Don't have the words, but I love how you and Bri are raising those kids.
Thank you for acknowledging the Covid isolation that have kept many of us from our families. I’ve enjoyed watching my favorite youtube homestead families cook and eat and play.

This episode just popped up on my feed. Bri, I have been following you & Art for some time. I missed this episode back when it first was published. I'm presuming God has a reason for my to focus on you & Art & the kids. I know so much has changed since this video over 3 years ago. You have all been in my prayers throught the babies birth & during your absence from RUclips. God knows what your needs are at this moment I'm going to agree in prayer 🙏 with His Will for you and pray that you are always aware of His loving provisions. May God continue to shower you with blessings in all that you say & do to His Glory. Art, you are I'm my prayers. May you find strength & guidance in all that you do to God's Glory. God is in control & desires only Good for those who love Him🙏. Blessings abundant to you all.
@Christine. It's not an impossible order if you just get busy and work on it as a priority. If you only find time though to put in a day or two of work a week then yeah, no way is 5 months long enough. You'd need 10 years.
@@Will7981 Right, nothing is impossible! I know that Art and Bri have set working hours for the house as to keep their family a priority and I love that! I hope when Art gets farther along some of the friends he helped so much with their house will return the favor and help him knock it out. Can’t wait to see them happy in their cute house again.
Thankyou for the wishes lm alone . I have friends but don’t want affect them s I’m going to the hospital alone and I feel it. I feel for those who don’t have my support system!
I love spending time with this precious family,....I sure do miss spending time with mine. We are especially thankful this year,...we gained a new great great nephew and a new great, great niece. We are soooo Blessed!!
Very moving video. Grace is going to live an amazing life. Your children are so sweet. My childhood was filled with my siblings and neighborhood friends traipsing around the creek, the hills, the railroad tracks, the zoo area, the big rocks above Duluth, MN. I never gathered eggs and that has always been on my bucket list. Stay safe snd be well. Thank you for this video. ❤️❤️
I spent Thanksgiving alone. I was a little bit sad on Tuesday because it made me miss my Mom. (Mom has been gone for 15 years). Our family unfortunately, does not get together anymore. The thing I am THANKFUL for is my church family and RUclips family. We have so much to be thankful for. I was able to be in church this morning and so in love with my Savior. HE has been so good to me. I do keep in contact with my oldest sister via text messages . God has blessed your family and so glad you had a good Thanksgiving.
To move???? Can't believe how cool calm n collected u are!!! I'd be freaking out....... Think we need to get a team of friends to get the house further along......
My goodness what an event to move back and forth! You’re such a nice family and I’m happy you can go back to the rental, hopefully you don’t have to move until your house is ready, with NO RUSH. Blessings
Thank you for sharing your inspiring family homestead journey. I grew up my first 10 yrs on a dirt road in Surrey BC. Went to a 2 room school house. Helped in the family garden and had woods, fields and even creek to explore. I wish this for all children. Then my family moved to Las Vegas in1972... I thrived there too. And even now, all those experiences and all the past 48yrs worth have me waking up in joyous anticipation of what the day has to offer. Even now as the world appears to be in great confusion, seeing you and so many others Living the good life ignites immense Faith that everything is in Divine Order. Continued blessings of abundance and wisdom
Oh I was scared for a few minutes until I understood the situation...your flexible approach keeps you happy! Our Thanksgiving dinner is today due to work schedules and I've been cookin for 2 days! Ha! It'll be gone in 30minutes! I began isolating myself since mid February. There's no looking back now! But I do think that things will get easier for all of us sometime next year. Hoping your winter will be fulfilling for each of you 💕
I am so glad you are all ok I thought that something bad had happened. I posted on previous vlogs to enquire how you were but no feedback. So glad you are fine, you are so part of my family now love you all xxx
Love your channel! Bree, I just got Chicka Chicka Boom Boom out for my 3 year old grandson..it was his mother’s when she was his age and he loves it. Great selection! Happy holidays.
Art you are so sweet. Thank you for remembering those of us who are dealing with the reality of this horrible plague (Covid). Our family has lost loved ones and are probably going to lose more. I really wish folks would take it more serious. Masks work as you know (fellow Nurse here). I love you and y'all's beautiful family and pray for you all to be happy and healthy for many many years to come. Once again thank you for your concern. God love y'all!
Your family is so sweet. I have been watching your videos for over a year now and look forward to each one. The youngest boy has the kindest heart. Love how the other just go exploring, more kids should put down the phones and games and go play like yours do. Love it and keep it going.
yeah the icolation is hard... Bri told me in the comments to go to the library for cooking recipes, but I can't go anywhere. I can't even go to work when I have the slightest cough. My mom was supposed to come up this weekend and we would bake and decorate the house with gingerbread and oranges for christmas, but since I'm coughing and sneezing a bit right now she couldn't come. This has just been such a horrible year, but I'm lucky I got to keep my job.
Good woman are hard to find but with a good one you can tell her all you plans and ambitions and if it takes years or decades they will hold you down , not saying they are meant to but to a woman that Trurly care for you would want to help you succeed in everything you want in life , I was blessed with a hard working woman that doesn’t know what she wants In life but kids and she always wanted land and I got a 40 acre lot in Alberta so it’s a lot of my thinking and ideas and savings she has to patient with while keeping the homestead mindset that we made many moons ago when we first met 6 years ago as little kids in high school grade 9 not knowing what we first wanted and wasting a lot of money on useless things that no one taught us not to spend money on we finally came to a spot in our life where we are setup able to save and making progress to build a house and clear trees for graze land we know we won’t live in our own house for 4 years minimum but , but we also have compared immigrant and majority of western populations in Canada and immigrants from out perspective come to Canada and work hard and don’t have kids really early and by 35 they have there 500k-1m house payed off married and university finished and than they are ready to settle down with a family , where as I see western families kids at 17-25 accidents or not have kids some are baby machines and have 5-6 which is things to pay for for the rest of there lives and they never get opportunity to actually bloom into a proper person until they are old and get to reflect . My main goal with my girlfriend is make passive income it’s a topic I have studied for Atleast 2-3 years and it’s living without a job my girlfriend things you live to work and it’s my passion to get that sorted out for her aslong as she waits and we work hard together we could achieve something she never knew possible in life besides for the quote on quote super rich that don’t need to work but for the average guy that has house and land built and paid for and a few proper investments in buisness early I do know a lot of my immigrants friends parents that are like this 50-55 with more money than they can spend just running simple businesses corner stores butcher shops mechanic shops restaurants one owns a chain of spices shops in our city of 200k people with 4 locations it’s not hard to get passive income it’s a matter of using your youth wisely.
At almost 53 mother of 4 very productive adult children ( that embrace the homestead life. ) I live in northern Alberta and it takes not only hard work on the farm but a hard working man not just sitting back waiting on passive income. You have to work hard to get results.
Thank you for speaking about how isolating this time can be for many people. I have not seen my siblings nor my husbands family for over a year and hope, but have doubt, we will be able to see everyone in 2021. Most of us are at an age that makes visiting too risky. I watch a wide variety of families on RUclips across the county and it makes me nervous at times to see people gathering or going out to eat, etc. Our area has had community spread for awhile, so we have to acknowledge that any interaction we have, could be with someone who is positive, I recently retired and part of the reason was to have more control over who I was exposed to. Thank you for sharing your families lives, I appreciate seeing your farm and family regularly.
Moving out for 1 week, must have been chaotic. I cannot imagine you would do that, but I guess if that was the conditions of getting the house, you gotta do what you gotta do! ;) I'm happy it's over and you can go back to the rental. You all looked like you enjoyed it. Wilder is definitely a loving child... he's very special. All your kids are incredible. Continue the great work.
We have been in lockdown here in UK since first week of March. It’s very hard and dreading Xmas because we will not be mixing with our wonderful family. Trying to stay upbeat is difficult but got to keep on. It won’t be for ever fingers crossed . X
Glad you get to return to the rental for the winter. And praying Y'all don't have anymore times you will need to do it again till spring. Your kids are adorable and we'll adjusted, Be Proud of yourself a that in the craziness of all your going through, Your family is really strong, god bless
I am an old granpa type, but I forgot to have kids, so I appreciate you sharing little moments of yours with us. I have friends around the block, and it's good to stop and have a word with them. You guys are important to me, just the same - no obligation, though!!!
Goodness you guys. You make me tired! I say that in a kind laughing way. I am no longer young. The energy of your wonderful family is amazing. Love you all.
I just got a 3rd goat from someone who has had goats off and on for about 20 years. I have had goats since april, but I've been helping my friend who has goats for about 2 and 1/2 years. The guy I got my third goat from yesterday did not know about checking the famacha! This goat has nearly white eyes :'( . We are working on getting her back to health.
Thank you for sharing your celebrations and remembering those of us who now have no functional family. Hi Mom for a 20 minute conversation is truly better than nothing but for some, our lives have changed permanently.
Here’s hoping that these next few months go by so quickly that soon this will all be just A memory. You will be in your home all newly rebuilt and enjoying it. Much love to you and your family.
Your family is seriously so sweet! Were in Florida, and it has been kinda rough. Home bound since March. On thanksgiving we(hubbs and I) decided to go to my sisters to celebrate thanksgiving. Didn't know it until an hr or 2 in... But apparently my step dad tested positive for covid 3 weeks ago.... Didn't tell anyone he tested positive, and still cane to get together hugging and loving on one another. For the last 2 days ive been feeling awful. Praying this isn't what I think it is. Appreciate y'alls vlogs. So much. Your family is so special!
I really appreciate you art and bri. You guys are my youtube family. I'm thankful for what you said. Self care is always needed. But having a reminder feels really good and at this time where we are alone and stressed. Losing many friends and family this year has taught me to just be blessed. I appreciate yall for working so hard and being enthusiastic much love
So glad yall are well. Moving an moving again is no fun, thankfully it was on mutual terms. I was so excited when I saw you had posted. It made my day. Thanks for sharing your family.
How are you guys even allowed to gather? I've seen your sister both at your home and at Justin's, Bree has been to Justin's and to Jess & Jeremiah's at least. Not seen anyone wearing masks except when going into the old house. I can't even go see my mother since March while she has been going through dental surgery, heart surgery, chemo x2, a hospitalization for infection and dehydration, cancer surgery then a mix of chemo treatments and hospitalizations for more dehydration and infections. We had a video chat today to wish her happy birthday from the hospital. again
...from my 1st floor ranch in Southeast London UK , I must say I enjoyed your more relaxed travel vlog from house to mobile to house in a week , impressed with the low level traffic , well done
Some folks are just beyond the pale ... how very selfish of them ! The very thought of asking a family of seven to move everything they own just so you can have one meal in a certain place.... Jesus ,Joseph and Mary ! What kind of person does that ?
It could have been that the rental was an airbnb and they had a prior hosting obligation they already committed to for Thanksgiving. The host might be penalized for cancelling and also, just loose a decent amount of money. If they agreed to it when they rented it shouldn't bother us.
It's so good when children can be children... I am glad you guys were able to go back to a bigger space. Hopefully next year you will be able to get back into your home.😊
The thing about coming back to the camper, it gives you perspective on urgency for what your house finished offers. But you can only move through the phases at a realistic pace by yourself. You have such a graceful farm setting. I love it, sloping barn and all. May be time to accept offers to help. Hugs!
You guys are going to be experts in packing and unpacking I'm so glad it was just temporary the kids are growing so much the little one I can remember when Bri was pregnant and had him he was adorable then and still is
Your youngest son is an angel in disguise. I truly believe it. You can see the love shining out of his eyes like a beacon of light

I hope when Art gets farther along some of the friends he helped so much with their house will return the favor and help him knock it out. Can’t wait to see them happy in their cute house again.
I agree. It would help him a lot if his friends would get together for some work days like they did for the Hollars.
@@Peanutthecatismycat He doesn't seem to make it a priority. A few hours here and there won't get this job done for another year.
God bless I'm very thank full for your beautiful family videos
Very moving video. Grace is going to live an amazing life. Your children are so sweet. My childhood was filled with my siblings and neighborhood friends traipsing around the creek, the hills, the railroad tracks, the zoo area, the big rocks above Duluth, MN. I never gathered eggs and that has always been on my bucket list. Stay safe snd be well. Thank you for this video. ❤️❤️
I enjoy your channel. It’s simple, informative, and personal. Thank you for sharing your journey.
God has blessed your family and so glad you had a good Thanksgiving.
it was a bit of a clickbait title I think
Why use click bait, just for people to to click. Just do one either the camper or a rental. To much drama I quit watch because of all the non sense.
@@sherriebarnes6687 I quit too. Art dragging his feet on remodeling the house after all the donations drove me away.
To move???? Can't believe how cool calm n collected u are!!! I'd be freaking out....... Think we need to get a team of friends to get the house further along......
Sorry for the craziness of the quick step out, but you knew about it and are back in, That's the great part!
My goodness what an event to move back and forth! You’re such a nice family and I’m happy you can go back to the rental, hopefully you don’t have to move until your house is ready, with NO RUSH. Blessings
You all are so blessed. Everyone in your family is so loving and helpful to one another. I love it. God Bless Y'all.
I love you all ... but as a woman and a mother, my heart is BREAKING for Bree. Stay strong, Bree. You're an example of Grace.
To much drama, seems like she likes to look for things to worry about.
Thanks for your kindness Arthur, it is appreciated!
Thanks for the update, missed you guys . Glad all is well .
Hoping your winter will be fulfilling for each of you 💕
Beautiful views of the mountains. 🙏from VA
Having to move out and back in within a week is so chaotic. GLAD you were Home for thanksgiving.
Such a welcome site into nature all around and the children playing so happy days. Thank you for sharing your journeys. God bless you all.
I am so glad you are all ok I thought that something bad had happened. I posted on previous vlogs to enquire how you were but no feedback. So glad you are fine, you are so part of my family now love you all xxx
Your week looked great..Happy Birthday sweet boy. 🎉🎂🎉
Glad you are back in the rental house and can settle back into your routine.
Sorry ya'll had to move and move again but all is well and the kids look great. Your little man is so cute and such a tenderheart.
Love your channel! Bree, I just got Chicka Chicka Boom Boom out for my 3 year old grandson..it was his mother’s when she was his age and he loves it. Great selection! Happy holidays.
Blessings! Yes, we all must appreciate them! Your cup is running over with them indeed! God bless you all!
Your wife is a very patient woman. I likely wouldn’t be as patient. Count your blessings
No, thank YOU for this week's slow paced (?) relaxed update. I enjoyed this video. You are making memories!
This was a very nice family video 📹 ❤, i really enjoyed watching the kids play and how baby boy is so loving and curious about things 😊👍💕💕💕
I breathed a big sigh of relief when you said you were moving back to the rental house. So glad you will be back in the house before Christmas.
Happy Birthday, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy getting back to rental house.
Your kids are adorable and we'll adjusted, Be Proud of yourself a that in the craziness of all your going through,
Your family is really strong, god bless
I am an old granpa type, but I forgot to have kids, so I appreciate you sharing little moments of yours with us. I have friends around the block, and it's good to stop and have a word with them. You guys are important to me, just the same - no obligation, though!!!
Hi Art ... I liked the slow paced update on the week... very creative. Thanks 😊
You folks are not afraid of hard work!! This was a great video!
I am so happy your family is safe and happy.
You’ll be fine. Lotsa love to keep ya all going. I ❤️your story
It’s a story of courage, strength, and lotsa ❤️. Till next time 😉
Your family is seriously so sweet!
Don’t you guys have friends and family that can help you guys finish your home?
Happy Thanksgiving. Your family is blessed and that blessings flows back out to us.
Hi..... Art and Bri nice to see you, thank you for sharing your video homestead chicken farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐥🐕🐖🐈🌱🐐🐄🎥👍👍👍
Our youngest is a similar age- she came February the 2018. She’s always saying “I love you” all the time. It’s so sweet.
Such a beautiful property that you are blessed to live on.
That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard. What alot of work. Moving out for other people to have Thanksgiving.
@@zackandbeth1 Geez. I hear that now in the vid but dang. The insatiable drama and sensationalism is unpalatable.
@@zackandbeth1 Had'nt thought of that . If Art and Bri knew about it before hand then yeah , that would change my outlook on it completely.
Wow , a lot of us have had our share of ups and downs this year ! Y’all be blessed and favored always.....🙏🏽❤️
Thank you. We enjoy all your videos and are inspired by them.
Happy you all in the house again.
Hugs!
GOD BLESS YOU GUYS - that is definitely a lot of work.
You guys are going to be experts in packing and unpacking I'm so glad it was just temporary the kids are growing so much the little one I can remember when Bri was pregnant and had him he was adorable then and still is
