Hi, The floor is light weight. That said I've been using one of these now for over a year (without a footprint), my floor is holding up well without any holes so far. You do have to be aware of what you pitch it on and use a bit of common sense. I personally don't believe in adding a footprint (and adding weight) to a light weight tent, though some people will prefer to carry a footprint so they don't have to worry about what they pitch it on. -Chris
Nice little light weight back packing tent.. However it would of been helpful to mention the weight and Hydrostatctic head of the fly and the bath tub ??/ price ..
i have this tent and use it for bike touring. its really lightweight, spacious and durable. highly recommended for those weight weenies,
