Such a brilliant way to market. Get a ton of incredible musicians, film them using your product, and get their reactions. If it's good, it sells itself.
I am 49 now - I've played piano since I was 5. This just leaves me stunned. I watched in awe the first time I heard this. Phillipes touch, soul, class - everything is just on another level. I watch this probably every day at least once for the last five years, literally. I always get tears - don't know what it is - just perfect.
This piece of music took me to another place. And because of that, my main takeaway from this is: let us never stop making real pianos. 🎹 Keyscape wouldn't be possible without them.
To some extent you're right: a real piano does inspire you to play - at any age or level. We've all been there, when watching a toddler just making noise by touching some white bits on that huge black thing in a room 😉 However, modern (new, cheap) pianos are not as engaging, somehow. They don't inspire. There's so many old pianos out there, thrown away when their owner(s) pass away or when they're moving somewhere smaller... Give those a second chance - usually they sound far more lively and dynamic than a newly made MDF-paneled piano ever could.
I cried here with the feeling he passed on the piano. this song starts out tense, gray, and takes on colors throughout the performance, like someone who has gone through a difficult time and emerged victorious. Whenever I listen I am transported to another universe, another reality. This bookstore is perfect. congratulations to the developers.
I 50 now and it's a year since my last post. This is simply world class. Improvised, and unhurried. There is actually a transposition of this on RUclips if you look and it is note perfect. I consider myself a decent piano player - but this made me realise I am just rubbish lo - frustratingly - I play along to it - pause it and play on my own - its nothing like...its complicated but when Phillipe plays it it is just seamless, natural, beautiful and mesmerising. I feel thankful I am alive to listen and witness such genius.
At the point where a cynical old musician like me thinks ‘it’s all been done’, I find this… Incredible in every way and from every perspective. A product with absolutely nothing to prove, being demonstrated by an outstanding musician with nothing to prove. Effortless genius.
Heard this splendid peace of art many times in the course of few years I should say... and when I compare this software to many others, be them VSTS or digital pianos, and when I see how authentic it is I feel wow! Yeah, Keyscape is the living prove that a serious company can sample an acoustic piano and make its samples sound as authentic as the real deal. Unreal! Incredible! Outstanding! Make a digital piano spectrasonics, It'll be game over!
Wowwwww this is stunning gorgosity! I've never listened to him before, but I really dig it! Some of his slower phrasings remind me of Metheny who's one of my favorites of all time. I keep coming back to this video just to listen to the wonderful tune
That was beautiful!! I can tell when he started to smile, that he knew what was under his fingers was a well made, beautiful, quality instrument!! The sound is incredible!!!
I had the privelidge of seeing you alongside Kirk Whalum and Jeff Golub in Corpus Christi, Tx at Del Mar college auditorium...and then found you with our beloved Gato on the album Que Pasa..your music is so varied and awesome..you are an inspiration and my favorite keys player. Thankyou for all the years of heartfelt music Phillipe. Much love from Texas, USA
Your videos are a delight, the artists you invite are so talented. They offer each time the best of themselves. It is fantastic. Thank you for this! And Mr. Philippe Saisse offers an exceptional improvisation.
Dear Mr. Saisse: my music friend and I keep coming back to this video - there’s a beautiful warmth exhibited here - i’m transcribing it so my friend and i can play it! Thank you! and keep smilin! Love those bluesy notes!
First Stylus... then Trilian... then Omnisphere... and now KeyScape... Holy Moses! Spectrasonics/Eric Persing are Dyn-o-Mite. Thanks for sumpin' beautiful, Philippe!
Hands down Keyscape has the best piano sounds in a VST. It even outdoes various synthesizers on the market today. As a pianist myself, I have to say how impressed I am at this. When I'm able to, I'll most definitely be purchasing! Absolutely fantastic!
WOW, maravillosa improvisación y que decir del sonido, es espectacular, yo tengo un disco increíble de Mr. Saisse, Valerian, imperdible, gracias Spectrasonics!
Me too! I bought mine a few weeks ago after watching those videos. It's a great controller. Roland should be paying those guys for the free ads, despite the black tape!
@@matthewdubovik7350 I mean, I only played jazz exactly like this for 14 years but would I know, right?. PS: My teacher and a lot of my friend and colleagues play like this too. Maybe you should reconsider taking back what you said...
Well, Greg cost me a LOT of money over the years...by getting gigs I wanted and was being considered for ;). But seriously...great player, great human being. Keyscape is a no-brainer investment.
Can you please extend this to one hour, a concert form like The Köln Concert by Keith Jarret, I think this could be as phantastic, unique and emotional as the Köln concert

I bought it, can't stop playing it, makes me sound GREAT!
Really though. This is one of the few types of marketing I don't mind. Nothing but art and product
I bought it, based solely on this video. Zero regrets.
Nope. There is nothing better than Keyscape library, as simple as that.
And it IS spectecular! Simple as that 😎

I bought a copy after watching the Greg Phillinganes video about 30 times. Best money I've spent.
same here haha, Greg sold it to me!
In my opinion it is one of the best plugins ever created
Haha many of us apparently !
It sold me as well. Wife: "Are you watching that video again? Just buy the damn thing"
It's shawm Martin's Rhodes video that's got me interested

That piano is the best sampled and to play and it feels so real because of its response .

Listen to Masques, it blew me away! Brilliant musician!
Very special fingerings and technic - great! Reminds me to my first organ teacher - orchard with hard working hands but a great musician too...
Spectrosonic blows it out the ball park once again!! Outstanding!!!!

Magnifique !
his playing technique is interesting. Watching his right hand... it's like his playing guitar
right! I thought the same thing :) reminded me a bit of Metheny
I thought he had a bit of that Vince Guaraldi swing to his playing too.
Looks like any ordinary jazz pianist technique.
Gruvve Poor observation
