I did consider that boat. The only thing I don't like for me, is that high seating position. 8 was going to mid it for sitting very low, when the water or winds kick up a little. But on that boat you can't. I have a 2023 Hoodoo impulse 120 fin drive. She's loaded with all my accessories, gear, electronics, lights, FF/GPS. And the game changer. The new J2 Bixpy PP 768, Bigger battery, with gravity rudder, and the warp 13 speed. Three hrs of wide open run time, if you needed it. But speeds 7 to 8 will last all day, and up to 24 hrs. Nice open cockpit. I love the perception deck, especially with a motor, that's a fishing machine. I love to cvr water in my bass tournaments, fun fishing, and camp/ fish trips me and my buddies do at least three times a year. That's a fast boat, and there's so many set-up options. 😎 🎣 🌊

I've found that sticking paddle in the water using it as a break or back paddle works alot better at steering the outlaw than forward strokes do in swift water also sticking paddle off one side toward the back and using it like a rudder works to

I just picked one of these up for my "fleet" and I'm excited to break it in next weekend. I'll be fishing fast moving water like the later part in your video that has some deep pools sprinkled in between. Have you checked our the hull after dragging rocks/bottom to see the damage? There will be carnage in my rivers here, but thats the price to pay to enjoy where not many people venture to.

My waters have a lot of sharp shale on bottom. That being said, i was pretty rough with the outlaw, and it only ever got the standard river rash. It held up really well. Make sure to plan your turns well ahead of when you actually need to turn. The outlaw turns real slow. Thank you for watching and commenting!

It's not designed for speed and agility.. it's made for comfort and stability... I thought you did GREAT going down steam.. better than I would have done for sure.. I love my perception and I use it allot...

You're absolutely right. The outlaw is unmatched in comfort and stability, i love it on lakes. But I've gotten a second yak for fast water. Thank you for watching and commenting!
