Hi Mitesh, Annique has published the pieces she played in the past on her web page and is fully transparent. So although a lot of people ask for Chopin etudes, she won't do 1-1-1 challenges on those. Anyway, as I know her quite a while, I know that her teachers never wanted her to play the mainstream "big" pieces. They wanted to foster her interpretation talent...
When I was a freshman in Highschool, I learned how to play this and went to state with it in Texas. I was the only freshman in my class to get a letterman jacket due to that achievement. Nerves caught me off guard at State BUT I still got an outstanding performance award for it. Turkish Rondo will always hold a special place in my heart.
I used to think that Mozart's piano pieces were boring/basic. That was until I listened to his Fantasia in D Minor, it was beautiful. I started listening to more of his pieces and I realize how intricate they truly are. Now #Mozart is one of my favorite musicians.
I have a better idea: 1 hour, 10 hour, *1 year* Challenge of Études d'execution transcendante d'après Paganini-4 (1838 version) - Liszt and, all Douze Grandes Études - Liszt
The thing I love about #Mozart is that even with very simple rhythms and melodies he manages to make intricate pieces that capture my heart instantly ❤️
Hello Annique, I am casually play the piano, and I just want to say that your videos are very helpful while being entertaining, which I appreciate a lot. #Mozart I've started practice piano from scratch since two years ago at my 41 years old, and never stop to impress me how you can play a piece in one hour, obviously you've years and years of practice but never stop amazing me what you do. Please keep sharing your videos, they're very funny and motivated me a lot to improve my technique and my love for classic music.
I am very impressed! I self taught my self piano and this song but still have difficulty with playing it fast and keeping rhythm. Thank you for your video. You play very well.
Hi Annique, you are amazing. I started to play piano 3 years ago on my second year I started to play this song and took me months what you have play in 10 min. You are a super woman
The piece that I've been working for almost half a year when I'm young, was mastered by you in only an hour. I love your playing very much it is so clean and tidy. I love how you interpret the music as well! Thank you for the marvelous creations and wish you best of luck :) #Mozart
I learned this when I was 10... so much fun watching you go through it. I dropped piano long ago but I sorely miss it. My favorite parts of your videos are the little moments playing a few notes over and over and over again to get the muscle memory - I remember that used to annoy my parents so much! I played this piece so many times it is the only piece where the muscle memory just hasn't gone away... sometimes when I'm bored in a meeting I play the fingerings from the middle section on the table in front of me. People are like "what are you doing?" I'm like "playing Mozart!"
It took me 5 weeks to learn this piece. I don't know if I love this video or if I hate it 🤔 Oh, and I'm still under the beat for some parts 🤷 More seriously, I'm really glad because it's the first time I can see how much time a professionnal needs to learn a music with a level of difficulty that I precisely know ☺️

I call it “the drive-yourself-crazy school of practicing," and it was life-changing for me when I stumbled upon it. Carefully dosed frustration makes things flow better, I find, possibly by keeping mental engagement high.
I love Mozart because I've grown up while listening to his music, I really like his style, and I find that by playing his pieces (specially the slow movements of his sonatas) one learns a ton about interpretation. #Mozart
Thanks for publishing these episodes. I played music (Trumpet) for 10 years (10 - 20 years old) I’ve always hummed songs and as I get older, I like watching these videos. I’ll put #Mozart so you know I was listening, but don’t consider me for the sheet music. There are brilliant, younger people coming up that would be so motivated by your generosity. Thx again.
#Mozart Hi Annique. I am 11 years old and you and your playing has been inspiring for me. I can’t wait to start playing this piece. It is wonderful that you make time to make these videos even though you practice 6-8 hours a day!! My goal for know is to practice 2 hours a day.
I must say you have a really excellent touch for Mozart very clear, precise and even. As much as the piece is quite easy to play but to play well to me is more difficult than a Chopin etude to say the least lol. It goes with all of Mozarts music. Very much agree with the his interest in opera and reflects well in his music
Difficult to point to a specific reason why I love Mozart. One aspect I do love is, that it sounds simple and easy. But the challenges appear when trying to learn to play them. Sometimes sections look like a scale etude, but even these passages are much more than that. So I would love to win this annotated (or should we say Annique-notated? ) #Mozart score.
I've never performed Mozart, but I did study the first movement of this sonata. I did learn more appreciation of Mozart from those few weeks than I ever did simply listening to him. It's like a constant flow of ideas tumbling over your fingers, each trying to be heard before the next. And yes for Henle scores; if they have it, that's the best choice.
I'm 12 and I just played the first movement of this song for my piano recital. I swear I thought I was going to smash my piano at some parts... You did so amazing, I can't believe you did it all in just one hour!!! T-T

This piece was one of my all time favorite pieces back in the day and the first major #Mozart piece I learned (when I was not aware how simple music is actually very tough to play well! ) I love how your ornaments are so crisp and beautiful, and the way you practice it is very instructive for me. I like how most of Mozart's pieces are so cheerful and bright, although I do like the more melancholy side of some of his music too. I feel that Mozart's sense of aesthetic is pure like that of a mathematician loving his equations. Even though I've played this before, I could definitely use better fingering in order to resurrect this pieces from the vaults of my memory!!!

I've always loved Beethoven's "Rage Over a Lost Penny" (Rondo a capriccio, Op.129). It's worth considering for this format of video. Just a thought. Love your vids!!
What a great piece that is, probably my favorite of mozart, i discovered your channel recently and it get me back into piano more than ever before, so thanks for that and keep up the good work ! Love from France🇫🇷 #Mozart
As Bob Ross use to say "We don't make mistakes we have happy accidents " Just don't do it ' live ' on stage or on RUclips.....no pressure. Love your videos inspires me to practice more!
I learned this piece 1 year ago (when I was in grade 1) and it took me all 4 months to do it (as it was quite advanced for my level at that time). After seeing her sight read for the 1st 30 secs, I was like...."O shit!!! She's gonna complete the WHOLE PIECE in an hour LMAO"!!! Edit: Damn, she almost completed the piece in an hour! #Mozart
I don't want to ruin it for you, but she has absolutely played all of the pieces on her channel before. She's fibbing about sight reading them. It's not even about her ability - as a classical pianist, there is absolutely no way she has gone her whole life without playing 90% of the content on her channel. They are all required learning for someone of her level.
I recently discovered your channel. I especially like your 1 min, 10 min 1hour challenges. It is fascinating watching you work and also seeing how you advance helps understand the piece better. If I may, I would like to suggest Asturias by Isaac Albéniz for a future challenge. You may have heard it played on the guitar, but it was originally written for piano. Best wishes.
#Mozart Ever since I was little I remember listening to Mozart. His delicate and versatile pieces shaped the pianist I am today. Mozart’s pieces are emotionally mature and demonstrate elegance. I would love the opportunity to use this score to further my passion in Mozart and use it to remind myself of why I began playing. Thank you
It's amazing how fast you learn the piece everytime. This one is awesome as always! (I'm apparently commenting for the score with your comment and fingering on it X0X) #Mozart
#Mozart I love the cleanliness and simplicity of Mozart’s music. The way that it sounds so impressive with chordal progressions that make sense and can almost be expected. My favourite piece of Mozart’s is the clarinet concerto in A major, and my favourite piano sonata in C, K. 545
I love #Mozart because as you said the music seems so simple and clear even if difficult to perform. But this is the power of Mozart, simple notes but "magically" blended. Congrats to you for the performance!
I always find it incredible with enough practice and with the right fingering, particularly in music such as #Mozart due to the many fiddly runs, how you can get into a headspace where you feel as if you are dancing over the keys and just watching anyone play that is beautiful :D
Hi, just wanted to say your yt channel motivates me to practice more often and more seriously, and that i use this concept to work on pieces that kinda frighten me, so thank you so much
I'm sure people commenting she's faking it haven't touched a piano in their life and only know for Fur Elise, this rondo and Clair de Lune. There are thousands of classical pieces, there's no reason she would pick this one up before
@@ByNormal Yes but she hasn't played this piece before. Unless you have evidence to the contrary. I've made it a personal mission when I get good that I will never play Für Elise. That song has been butchered by Simple Cringe...oops I mean Simply Piano
Subscribed because of this video. 😊 Thank you for your insights, it's very helpful. I'm currently "relearning" to play piano again, and i also love #Mozart and Chopin. Plus, you're so pretty! 💗 #Mozart
#Mozart is one of my favorite composers of all time. I really like the he manages to surprise you with his music, the way that he magically combines joyfulness with pure tragedy is really unique to him. I can agree that the simple appearance of his music hides a very deep, almost prophetic moments, especially in the minor key pieces that he wrote. :)
I have from Verlag/Urtext, Chopin Nocturne cis-moll. I love the blue cover. It will take me a while to play the piece in a convincing fashion but it is great fun and a "moving" adventure. Your videos are wonderful motivation to take the challenge with Chopin. Thank you, thank you, Go "Mozart" and your teaching. very honorable.
It's really interesting that you haven't played some of these very popular pieces yet, like Clair de lune and Alla Turca. What pieces did you start playing at first, and how did you progress through difficulty over time? Was there a guided course that you followed?
@@limonblyat We are talking in the context of several years ago, and not recently... And by the way, Clair de Lune was a challenge piece... And generally, challenge pieces are usually pieces that she has never experienced playing in her life. *Although it's pretty obvious to say that...*
I've been anecdotally playing this movement for years and I still have some inaccuracies I'd like to fix. I need to just sit down for a week or two and just relearn this. I'd love to learn the entire 11th sonata while I'm at it but that's a whole another mountain of work with my lousy sight-reading. I am a huge fan of different rhythm practises and alternating between staccato and legato even when they aren't called for, just to learn to relax and experience the piece with more variety of expression. Alternating between really fast and really slow practise is also effective. I think you get more into what is essential in a piece of music when you experience the extremes of playing while practising it.
Danke💗 #Mozart

It's amazing how fast you can learn these songs! I play the piano for 2 years and learned this song and it was really hard! This is an amazing piece from #Mozart, this song always makes me happy. He composed it on such a cheerful way.
Wow Danke! Ich habe keine KlavierlehrerIn mehr und bin an diesem Stück dran, hab es eigentlich auch schon fertig. Durch dein Video sind mir Feinheiten aufgefallen, welche ich unbedingt verbessern möchte!

#Mozart I love how Mozart no matter what (almost just has such a playful tone and kinda up beat, he didn’t write many sonatas in minor keys like no. 8 after his mother died, it truly seems like he just let it all flow, and that’s amazing!
My sister is learning to play the piano and Alla Turca of #Mozart is her favourite piece. Of course, she has an easy to play version only. Also what made me laugh: Annique counting down for not getting scared by the timer, but get scared anyway by herself hitting the keys by mistake afterwards. Sorry, I am bad.
Thanks for sharing. I enjoy this and how you create your own version of piano scores. What an interesting floor lamp in the background. On this performance practice, you shine. Dan

#Mozart I love Mozart because of how bouncy and vibrant a lot of his pieces are. From watching "Amadeus", his music portrays his personality a lot.
Nice try in 1 hour.
You finished playing "Alla Turca"
My music teacher reminded me of playing Mozart's pieces it must be perfect.
finally a piece ive played and perfected so i dont feel bad. (although like always your one hour sounded like ten of mine...)
Always good to see the way you go through. Thanks for showing/sharing such experience Annique.
Not really, Im doing grade 8 and have never played rondo alla turca, minuet in g or even fur elise
@@JohnJesensky also its not like in order to progress u HAVE to play these pieces
It took me at least 3 weeks to get that one minute part perfectly, I died watching her almost get it in a minute ☠️
@@JohnJesensky you are a perfect example of egocentrism
I find his music to be so upbeat. Like it makes you happy!
amazing video but you cannot convince me, that as a classical pianist you've never learnt Alla turca
I am super impressed but anyone who can play classical piano impress the hell out of me
I recently discovered your channel.
A year ago I thought I would never be able to play this piece, but here I am, a year later, I was right.
Hi, just wanted to say your yt channel motivates me to practice more often and more seriously, and that i use this concept to work on pieces that kinda frighten me, so thank you so much
Not many #Mozart pieces have really caught my interest, but I just love the sound Alla turca
Lovely video, such an inspiration for musicians on how to practice regularly
Can't believe that you haven't played this masterpieace before!!
Lolllll
She has. It’s a gimmick 👎🏾
@@ByNormal oh sorry excuse me for not understand what your full point was.
@@rod383 You’ve left five hateful comments, troll. You have no life or something? Be constructive instead of such an ass.
Haha! Great! I always do the same way! Run, run, run & and laugh at my mistake hits!😂
Subscribed because of this video. 😊 Thank you for your insights, it's very helpful. I'm currently "relearning" to play piano again, and i also love #Mozart and Chopin. Plus, you're so pretty! 💗
#Mozart
More down to earth with finger nail cutting and no edit introduction !
She went to music school bruh
simply piano :-)
In response to your first question (which pieces she played at first), there is her website, which says the entire repertoire...
Clair de Lune has been played by her, look it up ^^
@@limonblyat We are talking in the context of several years ago, and not recently...
You're fantastic Annique, you played this piece of #Mozart beautifully. A kiss from Italy
Is it the first time that you were able to play the piece fully in the history of one min, 10 min, 1 hour challenge ?
That's amazing by the way!
#Mozart
It's amazing how fast you can learn these songs! I play the piano for 2 years and learned this song and it was really hard! This is an amazing piece from #Mozart, this song always makes me happy. He composed it on such a cheerful way.
Giveaway is over! Thanks a lot for participating and putting so many great comments about Mozart and his music! The winner was picked randomly- congratulations to @HiekeClerkx !!!🎊🎉
Hi
#Mozart
I love how Mozart no matter what (almost just has such a playful tone and kinda up beat, he didn’t write many sonatas in minor keys like no. 8 after his mother died, it truly seems like he just let it all flow, and that’s amazing!
#Mozart
Hello
#Mozart can you also do a challenge on Chopin's torrent etude?
This was amazing! The fact that you got majority of the peice down in just 1 hour is crazy! Love it❤ #Mozart
Dan
I simply love #Mozart ❤️
