    My coins still have not came back from PCGS, it's been three months! Great video, glad your Peace dollars both came back MS70👍👍

      My order took 3 months as well. Seems like that final stage of the process always takes much longer than I'd expect. Good luck with your grades!

    Simple and clear. Not the same coins you sent them for grading. I call it the "magic" of grading companies.

      That thought definitely crossed my mind... I'm going to give PCGS the benefit of the doubt on this one I suppose. I'm going to send in another 6 to 8 and I'll definitely be documenting their condition prior to sending! Guess I'm most happy about the "D" getting 70, I believe they're bringing in the most $ right now.

      Would be hard to believe that these big grading companies take better care of their "big" customers at the expense of the little guy? I sent in stacks of 2021 Morgan's and ASE's all in original packaging and it seemed all my coins graded lower then expected. Looking at their stats at the time of grading and the ASE proof they reported over 6000 graded at PR70 and less then 2000 were graded at PR69 and guess what all mine were PR69. Same thing with a few other coins where the majority were grading higher and the stack I sent in somehow all graded lower then expected. Not sure how to feel but it didn't feel right. Pretty easy to take advantage of someone when they are running a business based on "trust". Not saying that's what happened but that's what it felt like.

    Why take them out of their packaging? I have a PCGS platinum membership and I sent all of my 2021 Morgans and Peace dollar in their packaging. They return the packing if you request. It just seems like a much safer way to send them vs taking them out.

    I sent all mine in original mint packaging 8 of 10 70s. A issue that pops up in sports cards is micro trash getting into the flips and can cause damage and marks. I recommend sending the coins in mint packaging when possible

      I agree sending them in the original packing is always a good idea. However, I believe they charge extra to take the coins out of capsules if I'm not mistaken? I just sent in six more of these to PCGS for grading, and took video before and after putting them into the flips. So we'll see?

      @@JoshuaAndersonLife I wasn’t charged extra for mine anytime I sent them in

    I sent in 2 peace and 2 cc All came back as 69's after 3 months

      Yeah that's rough! I'm going to have to think twice about sending anymore in. I'm not sure I have a CC that would get 70.

    Did the PCGS inspector drop your coins? WTF?

      Yeah, I'm not sure what happened? I'm mostly confused by the "O" with the scratches...

      Yeah, I sent them all back and got 3 more Morgans which all turned out to be pretty nice. Decided to just skip the peace dollars altogether.

    Don't really understand your objective. Why send brand new coins in for grading? Why not wait 5 to 10 years to see if they become highly collectable? At this point you don't even know if the value will be as much in the future as the value of what you paid for them now

    • @JoshuaAndersonLife
      @JoshuaAndersonLife  2 года назад +4

      Graded at MS70 they're currently selling over $500 for the D and $200+ on the low end for the S. The rest seem to be going for $300+. Those are sold prices on eBay. Even if they get MS 69 sold prices still cover the grading cost, so in most cases they're worth sending in for grading.
