I grew up eating Jollibee in the Philippines specifically Chicken Joy and here in Los Angeles CA the taste is the same and the crunchy texture is spot on. The gravy is better tasting here in Los Angeles CA than in the Philippines. I tink the quality of ingredients is key for better taste.

I find the original Jollibee will remain the best, however, I am happy they have locations internationally because I can't always travel back home to have it.

It's not only the chicken joy that taste different but the actual chicken, pork & beef here in Canada taste bland. They put to much chemicals on what they feed the livestock's here in Canada.
Back home (Philippines) we don't have strict rules when it comes to our food ingredients/seasonings etc. (not as strict here 😅)
Here in UK the jolly hotdog is a very much disappointment kasi ibang iba ang lasa. However the yum burger sauce is absolutely yummy reminds me of back home. 😅
Bago makarating ang recipes ng pinas jollibee dito sa atin sa abroad dapat pumasa sa food standard nila dito.
agree thats why theres no jollibee in australia, apparently the fda in australia tried to tell jollibee to change their ingredients but jollibee declined
@@caryyyyy nah, they change the food ingredients to meet the local market standards... In the UK it's just not the same at all as they need to use higher standards of products and less chemicals, such a shame as I love Filipino Jollibee and disappointed it's not the same here or in most places outside of the Philippines.
Only thing that's the same is the Yum burger sauce, the beef just tastes like any other burger but that sauce... YUUUUUUM

One of the most underated food sa jobee is palabok which is my favorite kulang ingredients jan sa canada base sa video meron dapat yung marinated pork, shirmp, kalamansi tapos yung chicharon.tapos yung tinapa flakes hehehe memories ko ingredients nun paborito ko din kasi 109 sya dati ngayon nasa 129 na solo order.

I totally agreed with her on this…I’ve visited Philippines several times and lived in UAE( Abu Dhabi, Dubai) before covid. It doesn’t taste like chicken joy at all. In Dubai the chicken taste a bit different than the philippines very small marginal. They do serve white meat and chicken wings. While here in Toronto Canada taste like shit prefer going to Popeyes instead and they cheap out only thighs and drum stick no option for white meat. Philippines and UAE do have jolly hot dog.
