Once again a very concise video. Years ago i ran a reasonably successful Sims website for nearly 8 years so i really do appreciate everything you do. ( i prefer longer videos)
I'm glad some people like longer ones, because while I think it's great to give people info quickly sometimes I might enjoy filling the video to the brim with tips and facts about how things work. I'm going to stick to doing a mixture. I have a short 2-min how to move video for total newbies that I want to share. I realize a lot of the time my subscribers will have moved way past this stuff in terms of knowledge, but think it's nice to have content for new players as well.

Great video once again. I use some of the cheats. I am a horrible builder and sometimes get so flustered with the move objects on and using the 0 and 9 button because they just don't what I want. I sometimes just give up. The simmers make it looks so easy.Thank God for the Gallery lol.
Ohhh yeah, the gallery saves me. I've tried a bit harder recently with my houses but sometimes I just want to get started with something and the gallery often helps with that. I really like the #Under20k houses people made. Usually small but great for when you don't want to cheat.
If you want to easily raise something to exactly the right height I would recommend using picture amoebae omsp red shelf! It is super useful and if you don't care about the gallery it has an invisible Swatch. If you want your builds cc free then delete the shelf once your object is the correct height. Hope this helps!
Same. I'm more or a renovator, I get an existing house and modify it as I see fit, eg adding bedrooms for my kids or a home gym. I work a lot better when the shell and inspo are already there.
As a new sims player, just a month, without your site I would know nothing about the Sims 4 and probably wouldn't enjoy it as much. Thank you so much!!!
Thank you for another guide) I think trait.equip_trait/remove_trait command is worth to mention. I used it to replace overpowered never weary trait with seldom sleepy reward when it was added to the game. These commands have other great usages too.
Yeah I did mention them, but probably should've at least put the code in the video in order to show people how it works, because from there you can often guess the name of the trait (except in strange cases).
You can have as much money as you want Just press "Control" "Shift" and "C" and then enter "testingcheats true". Then enter "Money" and behind it the money you want, for example: testingcheats true money 0 then you have $ 0 or testingcheats true money 1,000,000,000 then you have $ 1 billion most of what you can have is 1000000000🤑
These videos are great - keep up the fantastic work! I really hope to see a fishing one soon, don't seem to have much luck catching the uncommon and rare fish despite bait; figure I am probably missing something. Have learnt some new tips and hints from your videos even though I've been playing the Sims since 2001.
Someone else actually requested Fishing, but I struggled with the footage a bit. A little too much of one thing, but I think varied locations will help. I also want to include a segment on where to catch all fish and haven't decided if I want to separate that out from the rest of the video since some people would prefer to find them on their own. Anyway, thanks for letting me know what you think! A lot of fishing's problem is it's so random. Being focused and having the correct bait are about all you can do to push it in your favor for the fish you're missing. Some spots have a larger variety too, so it can be a low percentage chance to catch one. Each fish has a minimum level too, of course.

Carl's Sim Guides I personally would *love* a guide to where to catch specific fish. The hiddenobjects thing has heaps of fishing signs, but they all look identical and they're not labelled so that doesn't help at all. Also, is there any way to edit the world outside my current lot? My sim wants to install a basic playground in the wasteland behind her lot, and she's a multimillionaire plus connected (Malcolm Landgraab is her baby-daddy, and Grandpa Geoffrey visits to play with the kids a lot) so she certainly has enough clout with the municipal council to make it happen - if I knew how!

Seriously thank you Carl I’ve been playing Sims 3 for 10 years now and I didn’t download Sims4 until last night because they didn’t have what I wanted it took him five years LOL but thanks for the cheats, I don’t mind using the cheatsI can play anyway I want I bought the game! Besides that I need a little help because I am disabled. That part of the comment is just for those hard-core people that say I shouldn’t cheat LOL
Everyone watching this just get MCCC. You can do all of these things with it, and if you use cheats often it might just be easier. You don’t have to type anything into the cheat bar, because to access the menu you would just click on your sim, the computer or the mailbox without typing in testingcheats on to do any of this and a lot more. If you’ve never heard of MCCC, maybe watch a review of it or look up exactly what it does because I’m not being very specific, but you should definitely get this mod. If you don’t know how to do what you want with it, you can definitely look it up and there will almost definitely be a guide or an explanation to what you want.
bb.moveobjects on, the best one! Even if it's just to put something close to a door or to put a flower under something that clearly has space below it.
Jeroen Jager worthwhile switching it off while you're in live mode, though. Otherwise your toddler will put his wabbit tablet down *underneath* a large heavy object such as a fossil or computer, and you won't find it without tearing the house apart. Toddlers are demons for hiding their tablets anyway, they don't need magic powers of occlusion!
Yeah it was smart of them to allow cheating on Xbox/PS4. To not only do that but allow almost all of them. I feel like if it were easier ,they would have also allowed mods but a lot of games have that problem.
I wish they didnt take out the 'Buff' cheats. They were SOOO useful for me and they were fun to use. Kinda sad about it.. but thank you for this video. I am going to use some of these cheats soon!
I personally didn't realize the up arrow key thing until I was doing the video. The number of times I type aspirations.complete_current_milestone will drop substantially after this.

Is there a cheat to upgrade objects with Eco-Parts? I'm finding it impossible to upgrade some objects and looking for a cheat or mod for this. It took me a long time to make these Eco-Parts and now I can't upgrade like my hot tub for one. My Sim just acts like somethings in the way and I've tried it on mulitple lots now.
I HATE that we have to type or paste cheat codes. I want to return to the sims 3 method where it was mostly done from the mailbox and friends could be made by dragging the relationship bar. I have always used cheats, but the sims 4 makes it so cumbersome
I made my sim have sex with some guy who lived in a mansion so that way I could have the option to transfer my household into their mansion (thus getting the combined money), then I went into the manage worlds option, deleted the original household, bought my $15,000 violin, and moved my household to Newcrest where I used the remaining $80,000 to build me a custom house. My custom house looks like absolute SHIT on the outside, but the inside is okay & it's full of expensive things because I finessed some dude. Note, I am not like this at all in real life, I just decided enough was enough because my sims were not making money fast enough and my sim is a very high skilled violinist and I wanted that really fancy violin.
Cheaters never win lol but in Sims that rule don’t apply I’m guilty of cheating in Sims 4 money, and free real estate are my two faves build mode cheats don’t help me none since I’m a lousy builder 😂 I kinda just play it as a life game I download a house out of the gallery, yeah the building struggle is real for me 😆

There’s also ready made rooms. Their really helpful but I’m still great builder. Great to use if I don’t feel like building

You can take away negative moodlets by left clicking them when cheats are enabled (if I remember right)
that’s not possible unless you have ui cheats extension and getting rid of the moodlet by right clicking
