The last scene where she runs off the tractor is so beautiful. If you notice, Geet realises things earlier too at the same place and the train running behind in the whole scene makes Geet realise what is right for her. The train in the whole movie dictates the flow so beautifully it is so amazing.

There’s a scene in the movie where Geet asks Aditya about his passion and he says “Music is my passion” if you translate the word music into Hindi it literally says Geet, implying that Geet is his passion, I was blown away, such a masterpiece🫶

Kareena Shahid chemistry was best shown in this movie. It's been so many years to this movie, still every actor who joins movie industry talks about Geet, Aditya, Imtiaz ali direction. Kareena's dialogue delivery, even her stupid decisions she takes is relatable. This movie legendary for a reason
Jab we met is one of my all time favorite movies and i have watched it over 100 times. 😁 Although Geet ke character ko abhi dekho to lagta hai kya bachpana tha, par this movie was something remarkable in 2007. Both Shahid and Kareena did a fantastic job.

Geet doesn’t end up with Anshuman na.... and the extended metaphor was that Aishwarya is geet and Aakash is anshuman
In the last scene, even through this is cut down I was almost in tears when geet is confessing her love to aditya....then I look at aishwarya and her reaction is the same as mine. That when I knew, I found my twin!
Everyone who watches this movie really connects with it. My favourite movie!
Missed the part where Anshuman goes "Yeh saale launde mujhe subah subah ganne khet dikhane le gaye the, kyun dekhu main ganne khet, kya hain ganne ke khet meh"

Geet isn't a sweet and talkative regular girl. In the first half, she's a manic pixie dream girl. I've never been a fan of this trope because it's an unrealistic depiction of women. It's not Geet's responsibility to pull Aditya out of his suicidal depressive phase with her 'quirky' larger-than-life worldview of everything. The place where this movie shines is breaking down the manic pixie dream girl image they built for her, showing that she struggles too. This is what I like about this movie because there are few movies that do this trope right without making the woman character a tool to pull the male character out of whatever funk he's in. This movie is one of them because even though Geet pulls Aditya out of his depressive phase, he does so too. The support is no longer one-sided like they are in SO many movies. It's mutual and that's what makes this a good movie. Another movie that I love that does the manic pixie dream girl trope right is 500 days of Summer.

It's girls like Geet who just want to fulfill her need without respecting other's need , anshuman didn't made geet eloped from her house and neither he used her . infact , before aaditya it was anshuman who adviced geet to return back at her house and also geet used manjeet (that punjabi guy with whom geet's marriage was fixed)
