The last scene where she runs off the tractor is so beautiful. If you notice, Geet realises things earlier too at the same place and the train running behind in the whole scene makes Geet realise what is right for her. The train in the whole movie dictates the flow so beautifully it is so amazing.
There’s a scene in the movie where Geet asks Aditya about his passion and he says “Music is my passion” if you translate the word music into Hindi it literally says Geet, implying that Geet is his passion, I was blown away, such a masterpiece🫶
Why...is not the legend dialog of Anshuman is not included here...."kyu dekhu me Ganne ke khet....kya Khass baat hai ganne ke khet me...nahi dekhna mujhe Ganne ke khet"
Kareena Shahid chemistry was best shown in this movie. It's been so many years to this movie, still every actor who joins movie industry talks about Geet, Aditya, Imtiaz ali direction. Kareena's dialogue delivery, even her stupid decisions she takes is relatable. This movie legendary for a reason
Jab we met is one of my all time favorite movies and i have watched it over 100 times. 😁 Although Geet ke character ko abhi dekho to lagta hai kya bachpana tha, par this movie was something remarkable in 2007. Both Shahid and Kareena did a fantastic job.
In the last scene, even through this is cut down I was almost in tears when geet is confessing her love to aditya....then I look at aishwarya and her reaction is the same as mine. That when I knew, I found my twin!
Missed the part where Anshuman goes "Yeh saale launde mujhe subah subah ganne khet dikhane le gaye the, kyun dekhu main ganne khet, kya hain ganne ke khet meh"
Geet is my all time fav herione/actress role in hindi cinema. Kareena is so iconic in this role. Every girl loves this charecter even if they are diff from her ❤
I can totally understand how difficult it must have been for Aishwarya to control repeating the dialogues while watching the movie.!! This movie is a masterpiece!! ❤️❤️
Aishwarya is all of us while watching Jab We Met. I swear I watched this movie ten years ago and can still narrate every dialogue exactly the same way.
This movie is so amazing.. I loved it. One of favourite dialogues is Anshuman’s “ये लौंडे मुझे गन्ने के खेत दिखाने ले जाने वाले हैं..” That’s such a hilarious scene.. 🤣🤣 And yes, दादजी का “हमारी उम्र में बस इक नजर में..” Loved Dara Singh ji in this movie. Edit: Just realised that there are so many ‘गन्ने के खेत’ fans in the comments section. 😜
I have discovered this film just few days ago and till now watched it 3 times 😘😘. Really, what a 🎬 film, what an acting, dialogue delivery and those amazing music 😍😍😍. I am really loving it. Why don't bollywood make movies like this anymore?? 🙂🙂🙃
This movie has an evergreen experience, everytime one watches this, feels like it's totally new and refreshing, everything thing of Jab We Met is insanely brilliant. TanmayReacts well done for your reaction video on this. Also there is a hidden and smart business strategy of Netflix India engaging people to watch the movie again. Smart!
This film can never disappoint me like from the age of 3 to till now i m still in love with this movie n with more love for it each time. Don't even remember how many times i have watched it. Tum se hi will alway be favourite n dancing in rain is dream
I remember I was very small, maybe around 7 or 8. I didn't understand any of the brothel, or getting the room in the night things. Ohh!! We are so innocent as kids, difficult to understand so much stuff. Watching this I realized I need to watch this movie again to really enjoy it!!
Geet isn't a sweet and talkative regular girl. In the first half, she's a manic pixie dream girl. I've never been a fan of this trope because it's an unrealistic depiction of women. It's not Geet's responsibility to pull Aditya out of his suicidal depressive phase with her 'quirky' larger-than-life worldview of everything. The place where this movie shines is breaking down the manic pixie dream girl image they built for her, showing that she struggles too. This is what I like about this movie because there are few movies that do this trope right without making the woman character a tool to pull the male character out of whatever funk he's in. This movie is one of them because even though Geet pulls Aditya out of his depressive phase, he does so too. The support is no longer one-sided like they are in SO many movies. It's mutual and that's what makes this a good movie. Another movie that I love that does the manic pixie dream girl trope right is 500 days of Summer.
I watched this movie n number of times on a TV, with ads it took around 3hrs. This review doesn't matter to me but it's just a recap to see those amazing performance by the duo.
Here to declare that Anshuman isn't a bad guy ! It's girls like Geet who just want to fulfill her need without respecting other's need , anshuman didn't made geet eloped from her house and neither he used her . infact , before aaditya it was anshuman who adviced geet to return back at her house and also geet used manjeet (that punjabi guy with whom geet's marriage was fixed)
"Jab We Met" ~ Imtiaz Ali's best film after _ROCKSTAR and HIGHWAY_ . Kareena's best performance till date [GEET] Shahid Kapoor's character *Aditya Kashyap* is far better than Kabir Singh. [Honest fact]
uhhh... i just realised one sad thing after watching this, I used a CD to watch this movie and the movie was incomplete so till now I thought geet married Anshuman as the CD ended when Shahid Kapoor was walking alone in the rain... wow life k 14 saal baad
Love the film, but this reaction video is next level. I can't get over the part where Tanmay says - Mrs. Mohanraj aapne aur Hariharan ne jo company shuru ki thi.. 😂😂😂 . Tanmay is the best ya!

Exactly
Even Hollywood leap year was also inspired from this film
Everyone who watches this movie really connects with it. My favourite movie!

I would love to see Tanmay and Aish watch Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani together☺️ One of my most fav♥️
" You know how this movie ends na"??
Tanmay nailed it 😂😂🔥
I didnt get the joke actually
Geet doesn’t end up with Anshuman na.... and the extended metaphor was that Aishwarya is geet and Aakash is anshuman
"They should have cast you". Tanmay OP in the chat!
Movie was surreal...actually felt rooted in realism ..this is magic created on screen

Dude that's literally my favourite dialogue in the movie. Most people don't seem to laugh at that part for some reason.
@@sardarkhan2289 : Mine too 🤣
Brilliant dialogue 🤣 Never fails to crack me up 🤣

The songs in this movie and their timing take the movie to an another level

Honestly Tanmay and Aishwariya have great comedic chemistry. Excellent. Really enjoyed this.
Peak Bollywood romance movie, doesn't matter if they make 50 films with the same plot Shahid kareena and the screen writing made this movie
4:15 is the BESTTTTT EVERRR
What makes it even better is the fact that at 19:33 when Tanmay goes to pretend mute Aishwarya, Aakash's name shows up on the screen
Idk why I'm realising this now but
Aditya's life passion is music and he loves to sing and her name is "Geet"
I mean......
You missed the Iconic dialogue: "Kyu dekhu mai ganne ke khet..."
