It is only a moment... then these difficulties come to an end; be patient with them. Be patient restraining your soul from its desires; be patient upon the obligations Allāh سبحانه و تعالى has commanded you with. Be patient with the calamities that befall which are either from yourself or (calamities) from Allāh the Exalted, or from the people. Be patient until you reach the abode of relaxation.
{And Allaah knows while you know not}
The delays in your life are there for a purpose and behind them is Divine Wisdom which only Allaah knows. So surrender your affairs to Allaah and trust Him, and don’t be disheartened nor lose hope.
Behind every patience there is a beautiful affair, and know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, and affliction is followed by relief, and hardship is followed by ease.
Two things to remember in life. Take care of your thoughts when you are alone. Take care of your words when you are in the crowd.

Hello guys what does lowering the gaze mean exactly, when I look down I see like a blur of a person coming pass mean when I lower my eyes does this count as lowering the gaze or do I have to like completely look away from the person
what if ive been following usrah (islamic gatherings) for years now.. i stumble to the same sins over and over again, i feel like my heart has been hardened now.. what is the solution to this ?
Make salat at tawbah for sins
Do more good deeds
Read quran make dhikr
Most importantly make dua to allah
Giving food to hungry poor will inshallah melt heart
I'm not a Muslim, so I want to do this as respectfully, and as much in accord with the real religion as I can, so...
1. My idea is to read part of the Qur'an every day during Ramadan. I'm blind-ish, so I don't read print too well, and I'd be doing it in English, but in audio on RUclips
2. Do I do wudoo (sorry, can't spell it) beforehand?
3. Are women allowed to read the Qur'an when we're on our menses? "Asking for a friend," ahem.
4. So Ramadan starts on Monday and goes for one lunar cycle, yes? That's 28 days, if I'm not mistaken, so I would have until Eid to finish, but when would Eid be? Is it 28 or 29 days this year, please?
Thanks to anyone who can help me out on this. Like I say, I'm trying to do this as properly as I can.
(Before I start I want to say I'm a Muslim male and have been since birth)
1: That is a thing! It is called a Khitmeh or a Khutmah, which is trying to read the whole quran. It is very difficult, so people sometimes divide the quran depending on the amount of people doing it, and it can almost count like you read the whole quran, and some people try to do some of it, but not all of it.
2: You do not have to in the English copy. In the Arabic copy, you must. But it is better to make wudoo even for the English copy.
3: Woman cannot hold their Quran, pray, and things that need wudoo (purification) during their menses. Menses does not make them pure so Wudoo (which translates to purification) is invalidated. They can put it on a tv screen or an ipad without touching it and that is fine, and they can read from memorization
4: We do not know when ramadan starts. It depends on the lunar cycle. The lunar cycle is 29.5 days to 30 days. Eid is 3 days.
If you are not muslim, or a revert, then it is ok to not do everything properly. Hijabs arent mandatory for new reverts (women) either until they think they are ready. In islam, it is all about intention. If your intention is pure, and to do something good, then that gives you good deeds. So do your best. It is beautiful that you are studying islam.
