Just started making beats this past week on MPC Beats and this video is exactly what I needed! Also congrats on the channel growth, so cool to see you celebrating 5k subs now you're at almost 10x that.

I use the mother ducker on my drums. But I started experimenting with compression vintage for my basslines. Not sure if this is right. But it makes a world of difference

Useful explanations. I see that you have a track per drum program entry. Easier to control but more fiddling required. Yeah, this or that.

@ Bolo Da Producer...Thank You Man for sharing that content!Much appriciated!!!I have a question regarding that sidechain compassion...i am working on a classic boom bap beat and i want to try it out...Do you think it will work with a drumbreak?(not chopped just loop on one track)I filtered out base from original sample but i want to have this dope warm punchy low end on my kicks in drum break...Will it work like that with side chain?Much appriciated if you can reply. One love!

Good video! I’m now learning MPC. Do you have your drum samples on individual tracks by the way?

Man this was the best fukn explanation ...big thanks! One question, is it best to always have the Ducker & input first on the channels, like, before the eq, comp, etc?
