It’s a draw for those who think that Magnus lost When your opponent doesn’t have enough pieces to mate when your time in the clock runs to 0 seconds,it’s a draw
to be more precise, your pieces are also taken into account : ) for example, knight + king versus a lone king is insufficient mating material, of course, but knight + king vs knight + king actually IS sufficient (for either side), because THEORETICALLY your own knight could be used to mate you (by blocking one of the escape squares of your king). it's not a forced mate, you'd have to walk right into it, but it's theoretically possible. so for this reason in some rare cases it is actually beneficial to have your last piece captured in an ending (and a smart opponent who's higher on time may refuse to capture it).
No seriously believes this is a draw. He only ran out of time because his hand movements weren’t fast enough to end his turn as soon as his brain came up with the move.

The opponent captures the just-moved pawn "as it passes" through the first square. The resulting position is the same as if the pawn had moved only one square forward and the enemy pawn had captured it normally."
It's a special chess rule called "en passant" Here's the definition: en passant “A pawn attacking a square crossed by an opponent's pawn which has advanced two squares in one move from its original square may capture this opponent's pawn as though the latter had been moved only one square. Nobody, absolutely nobody:
Magnus Carlsen: Triple Kill!!!
This guy Magnus seems to be pretty good. He should totally play in some tournaments or something. Probably has a good shot of winning some.
Are you serious? He is the number one. You are trolling me or what
Yeah i just don't understand where is he gone after this...just vanished😥
@@thomaschesscafe my god i feel bad for you
Haha, he is the world number one. With highest ever historical FIDE rating.
He might even become World Champion.
I'd love to play Magnus just to see how long I could make the game last! With an ELO rating of 1000 I don't think very long!
0:44 did he play 2 moves in a row?
