It's good to see you back to doing reviews Matthew. :) An interesting thumbnail for an intriguing cryptid creature arguably the most famous one of them all. I'm still on the fence regarding Bigfoot but this model doesn't seem as bad as initially thought. I can't wait to see you do more reviews Matthew especially and hopefully the new Jurassic world dominion figures and other Jurassic world figures at some point. 🦖🦕
its a fine figure, but i still wish there were more crypto figures available. They are still very rare and i know safari small figures ,but that was years ago and there isn't nearly enough...
The Bigfoot , or North American Ape does reflect different body morphology and sizes depending upon distribution. This sculpt may reflect a lowland swamp or Eastern diciduous forest variation. The pose could use some work, something more consistent with eyewitness reports that would add character to this rather static representation. I don’t believe they are descendants of the Gigantopithicus, or even closely related but, Gigantopithicus does illustrate how a primate can attain enormous proportions. Fossilized primates have been found in Miocene deposits of the United States and Modern New World Monkeys still inhabit Central and South America . Given how bipedalism evolved several times across different families an unclassified modern example isn’t beyond reason .
Unfortunately I've had to put it on hold for a while. My personal life is a little busy, and I'm doing a Palaeontology course too so that's taking up time as well
Dem squatch glutes xD
Hahahaha
I have this same Bigfoot figure. It is such an awesome figure!!
That's awesome!
