  • Today I'm taking a look at one of the largest Carnegie Collection dinosaur replicas, Apatosaurus. I review the sculpt, and compare different molds and color ways, so hopefully you can get a sense of where YOUR figure fits into the 26 year long production of this classic vintage model!

The quality dive to the first green one is genuinely startling

At long last! You sir, are true historian. I absolutely love the first grey one. It's amazing. I realise now with much sadness how far removed my remoulded one is from Forest Rogers' original work, especially the head☹.

Luckily, while the gray versions are very rare, it’s relatively easy to find the original mold in green colors if you know what to look for (Miami on the info text, etc.).
