Built in 1867 the Salem United Church of Christ in Cincinnati, Ohio is one of the few original remaining churches still operating in the city. In this video along with the history of the church, we discuss the perils of the Angel Gabriel on top of the steeple, the unique "barn doors" used on the front of the church and the need for financial help to keep the building standing for future generations.

I was married at Salem United Church of Christ, on December 24, 1983, the coldest day of the century. Wonderful to learn more about the church history. Indeed, Salem United Church of Christ is a beautiful historical church.

The original organ was a Koehnken and Grimm, whose factory was just a block away. The current organ is a Pilcher from Louisville, KY.
