Some great bikes today.
DT360, TS400, DR500, airhead BMW and more.
Thanks Dave.
Thanks Dave I saw something I haven't seen in many years when I got my first motorcycle in 1967 I had a collection of Cycle World and cycle magazines for several years but I kept every magazine I got two subscriptions and I had boxes of them and I haven't seen them for many many years
World leading magazines.
Hi Dave. It was Nice meeting you on Friday. The viewers watching that have never been to "AMA Vintage Days" at Mid-Ohio can't realize the Enormity of this event. The swap meet had like 825+ vendors. It was Very crowded but I had a Great time.
Greetings from Indio California Dave how are you show me the price on the bsa's or matchless 500 singles I like to know the price on them ask if he run Arielle 500 696 500 singles I like singles I used to have them back in the days thank you Dave God bless
I've got a Red Hunter 500 to drag out one day. I'll try to feature it soon
@@richardortiz8704 Punctuation please 😬
You could buy the DT360 project bike for 1K and drop an additional 4K in parts and labor into it, or you could buy the 900 mile DT360 for 4.5K and be done. I'm lazy, I would pick the 900 mile bike. Your videos are the best, and still laughing at the Bultaco crash. Glad you are OK.
Yes. I guess it depends on whether you want a driver or show
Dave your wright the market is crashing ,A lot of folks including me are strapped for cash these days .I went from a Rich Man to a poor Man after I retired .I get buy but don't have much money for buying Motorcycles anymore so I enjoy the ones I have . Did not prepare enough for retirement . Thanks for the Great content as always .
A lot of bikes weren't popular in the day, and guys that remember them are getting too old and younger people have no interest or money.
We got tons of those cz,etz,mz in cuba pretty cool bikes
Thanks for sharing and what a fantastic present those magazines are.. 👍🇬🇧🏁
Great coverage can’t wait to see more !
Another good video, I've only been able to watch half of it, I'm saving the rest of the video for later Thanks again from, Pensacola,
Thanks for another entertaining program.
1500 for an sl350 is a good price,but 800 for the rd400 daytona was a steal.Beautiful Norton and at 6400 I dont think overpriced.
Nice 👍 thank you
Welcome 😊

Double poped, plus busted,u da man! Signed mags priceless brother priceless!!!laterbro
Hello Dave, shook your hand over there at mid Ohio Sat. question, why are the early 80's Honda CR's so expensive ?
I dont know. Anyone out there know?
When buying and selling bikes my dad was in the business for over 50 years and always said you can calculate the heydey price hike time period for vehicles by a simple formula - People who are currently in or approaching retirement age(roughly 55/60 years old) who would have been 18-25 years old of the time period. I.e. someone who is around 55-60 years of age today would have been 20 in 1984-1989, and the formula can flex with some margin, of course. Hence , a lot of bikes have also fallen off in price and desire. Such as late 60s British and Spanish bikes. They have begun to age out of their target demographic. Great video, by the way. It was nice talking to you out at the show!
Cuantas motos hermosas el mejor video hasta ahora saludos Rafa de mardel plata
Right on!
I could do that every weekend, surrounded by the motorcycling past.
Dave please show pentons and prices. Thanks
And CanAms.
Tdr250 I had the sports bike version marketed over here in the UK as a TZR250 , love all the two strokes they fetch good money over here KH2 750's go for up to. £19,000 or $25,000
The dr500,suzuki made the sp and the dr at that time. The sp was street legal and the dr was dirt only. The dr continued and the dr s models were sreet legal when the sp was discountinued.
Need a wig, hat, sunglasses, and a shirt that’s not red😂
I bought a CL360 in the eighties for a “project” and dumped more money into it than intended and the bike never ran well. Good used parts were very hard to find and OE parts were ridiculously expensive. The CL 360 was nowhere near as good as the CL350. **Our local JC Penny store did sell Benelli bikes(and MINIbikes)in the early/mid seventies.
Totally agree with all that! Thanks
Dave....how about focusing more on vintage twin shock motocrosses
.
Part 3?
@@MyWillypilly I'm working on it
@@bullpencycles I was at Wauseon, but I was wondering about this one. Thanks

I didnt know that! Makes sense now
Hey Dave
You wouldn’t happen to have the contact information on the Benneli volcano or the Indian mini world you?
No. He was there last year and I used to have his business card, but now I cant remember which business card it was. Try posting in the "What Are You Bringing To Vintage Days?" Facebook group if anyone knows the fellow the brings many Italian bikes to VMD, and his stand was near the parking lot
If you are the vendor with the blue Kawasaki H1 Dave was checking out I'm interested. Please reply here. Thanks!
Wrong colour shirt for a disguise, young Dave. To close to your own. Certainly were some bargains there but you apparently had no cash.
I did by the end of the show, but I was finally more disciplined! Lol
ever meet dwayne willams😃
Torsten Hallman, not Hillman. Seriously You never heard of Mr. Motocross? No one ever wanted a CL350, and they made millions of them. That bike is your market barometer? Very few of these bikes are collector pieces. Hence the low prices.
I had to google him. I guess I was 8 when he retired. Sorry
First
TDR rare? maybe in USA rest of world naaah.
Yes, in the USA
@@bullpencycles Yes it's a 250 sized version of the RZ motor. Not sure if they were Brazilian made though.
Dave, if you got a haircut more becoming of a man your age you’d be completely incognito!……
Yeah, I know! But heck, I still think I am young!
Yep the market is crashing! I think the economy is so bad everyone needs money!
