Cyphray autotdp is what I use to tweak tdp on my GPD win max 6800u. It finds the optimal balance of CPU and GPU frequency for framerate. 32Gb would be nice, so you can set VRAM high. This is probably the peak of what the 8840 can do.
Great video my guy! I greatly appreciate how deep you went. That no battery, only the controller through a USB-C powered audio/video capable cable was a pretty amazing use-case!! I kind of see some serious appeal with this now! Thanks
The Thunderbolt 4 is big miss for the prototype. I really hope they implement it in the next release. That's what I was most excited about for potential. Cool device though. 🎮 Great coverage!

The glasses seem less desirable but like you said , if you have 2 pairs + a second controller you can have a great multiplayer experience, so it's not a waste even if you want to use another one. Also I feel like that fan grill could be bigger.
Almost backed it, but with the Z2 extreme on the horizon and the lack of reputation, kind of difficult to justify it for me. They should have sold it without the glasses too, I might have gotten it for tinkering with Linux on it. But the video is great :)

Looks awesome! They need to really add back programmable buttons (at least 4, like Xbox pro controllers). Surprised by the performance of this little beast.
I think they should include Zoom in Zoom out for the display, so you could get a bigger virtual screen. Higher Refresh rate 90-120hz, 1080 is fine for now to run on mobile device. (Currently 60) Removable temples(legs) Fully use the viewbox(lenses area) since its not a pass through like other XR, our eyes tend to look down. This could help with posture.
Honestly those are pretty common with some of the Chinese handheld pages. Either way product seems cool, company is well established (in other countries with mobile phones) so it should be low risk
i remember thinking about this a long time ago wondering why they just dont put a pc in a controller and you connect that to a screen skipping the console or seperate pc
Is there Bluetooth technology built in? I fly FPV SIM like liftoff and want to connect my radio to the controller and play the SIM with my RadioMaster boxer via Bluetooth or USBC... I can honestly see the PS5 BEING JUST LIKE THIS BUT FASTER
120 would have been nice. As far as the glasses go, I think the myopia dials help with that. Perhaps they will release a glasses template that can be used for glasses (the nose pad is removable so it has what it needs to do so
This would be a really appealing handheld if it weren't sold with the glasses. The only display I would ever want to use is the Viture XR Pro glasses (or a desktop monitor).

I think for me it's too powerful. Haha, the cost is a killer, and I think a steam deck still is better dur to the cost. Not sure if this has a sleep mode but without a sleep mode that's a massive downfall. If a Linux-based lower power controller pc was made, I would totally be in. Streaming to a phone would be awesome, the glasses add a lot to the cost also. As well for a lower powered controller pc the smaller controller size would make it very portable.

Also need to ask about eye capture - i can steer with Pocket and also with Virture or this is only option for Pocket Go That will come this functionality?

It's a cool idea, but here's the thing. I would simply not buy it just based off the fact, putting on those glasses in public, you're asking to get robbed. Like, you are asking to be a victim. Like, you will have no situational awareness if you put headphones in and those glasses on in public. And because it's a portable system, like, that's what you're buying it for. So, like, for me, that's just a no-go right there And like, if you grew up and live in the suburbs, that's fine, but I did not. I grew up in the ghetto where people will rob you and take advantage of you if they see that you don't have any situational awareness and you make yourself a target.

The double pair of glasses would be super good for a flight. My wife and I love co-op games and I could see this working cool.

It really needs at least 32GB of RAM in order to allocate adequate VRAM for high-res textures.

i've been tempted to order one but, the FOMO countdown that resets when you refresh the page is kinda sus.

The viture pro xr glasses are better as a pair of glasses. These would be more in line with viture one or legion glasses.

@@myasga I can’t speak to the gyro control of the glasses. The feature wasn’t enabled with the prototype. I think it will suit your needs though

They just opened up a option to buy just the system. Go check the Kickstarter again. Then you can get any other brand ar glasses
