Fitting Vented disks to a Suzuki Jimny

This video shows how to fit a vented disk set-up to a Suzuki Jimny, this is applicable to both Gen3 and Gen4 Jimnys
This helps keep the braking within specification when fitting large wheels and heavy accessories.

Hi Martin, I have a Dutton amphibious car which has a Jimny donor. The front discs are vented so I assume it has been converted possibly using one of your kits. The LH caliper is partially seized. Is it possible to get a replacement caliper or a refurb kit? Thanks Rob

What’s the donor vehicle for these parts?I see them in your shop but calipers are unavailable at the moment.

Hi the calipers are available on request ( and when I last purchased some a few weeks back were quite a bit cheaper)

No they are not (well certainly on the older ones). Some websites identify them separately but the caliper they send is the same

Do we really need a vent disc brake for a 1.5cc Jimny?

Its not about the engine, its about stopping the larger wheels/tyres and their rotational forces
