It's true... I finally decided a scale is the way to go. There are so many reasons why weight is a better way to measure. Air density changes, humidity changes, etc. That can really affect the volume measurement of a dry ingredient. I experienced this just today, when I was trying out a couple new recipes that went with volume, rather than weight. It's a VERY wet day here in Portland, Oregon, and so were my batters. LOL

( is there many versions of Artisan??) i am planing to buy one for myself for my birthday :) but i am not a professional baker but i do want a Kitchen Aid one that will help me develop my baking skills, as the mixer plays a big role in my opinion. and thank you!!
Made these yesterday :D They are amazing - and all my roommates really love them. Especially the fluffy structure of the cake... yum :D They do taste very much like the Dutch 'Speculaas' though. I said everyone it was Chai Cupcakes but after one bite everyone was just like: Nope. This is Dutch Speculaas! Just so you know ;)
what kind of paper cases do you use? I really like the Multix muffin liner in brown, but recently the supermarkets seem to only have them in white here in nz. The patty pans are definitely smaller.
+TheMyrcalla Hey there! I buy my white paper cases from Coles. Their ones fit regular muffin tins perfectly. I buy my brown ones from Confetta who're an Australian company :0)

Along with the milk and spices, you need to add tea leaves and boil it until it turns out to be the beautiful chai color. This recipe is incomplete without that as there is no Chai. May be you should re-do this video. Love from India ❤💌

What you're referring to might be 'masala', which is a blend of spices. So this video really should be called Masala White Chocolate Cupcakes. :) Great idea otherwise, I'm going to give this a shot.
