Best training equipment in my opinion is a couch. 1. It teaches you how to ride the bench a valuable skill. 2. It teaches the hard earned skill of procrastination. 3. Pavel Barber uses it.
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to discover hockey offseason workout try Skyarza Hockey Coaching Star (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my friend got amazing results with it.
another way to train off ice if you dont have inline skates or enough money for going to the rink, is to wear youre normal skates with skateguards and get a feel for wearing them and it feels a bit more natural. its not the best alternative but its better than nothing. Happy Training
This video is really helpful. Unfortunately a lot of these products may not be available now or are too expensive but I really want the green biscuit and wanna make the stick handling practice with old sticks.
I took a small tin bucket or pail 🪣 , put 2 holes in the bottom, and then zip tied the bottom of the bucket to the fence/gate in my driveway and it made an awesome little cup to try and snipe. Didn’t cost me anything as I already had the little bucket. Everyone that shoots at it, loved it too.
My friends and I shoot original green biscuits all the time. Off the posts and everything. Never had one break right away, they’ll actually take a good amount of abuse before becoming harder to use or completely broken.
The Xenopuck is the best puck I've ever seen for off ice training. Same weight and size as a regular puck (but noticeably thicker), and it slides nearly like a regular puck on ice. It slides so well that it's bizarre to use. Even better than the green biscuit. It is $18 a puck, which is actually middle of the road for these prices. The xenopuck is also one single material, which is a super durable hard plastic, so you don't have the issues with it falling apart like the green biscuit tends to do. Only problem is that you can't shoot it at a human, because it is so hard. Though, I've heard that they are working on another softer version.
+ROLO hey ,if anyone else trying to find out hockey dryland training program try Skyarza Hockey Coaching Star (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend got great success with it.
The stick would always run over the fuggin ball.... Ahh. Remember how when you lost your good pucks and balls, you had to resort to the tennis ball. LMFAO
Can I use the Mars blade with figure skates? I was told to purchase purchases slide board for off ice training by my physical therapist. He suggests I use it slowly sliding side to side, to engage my muscles when transfer weight and lifting one foot, when skating.
There is a stick handling egg that is shaped like an egg and it makes random movements that that can help your stick handling and I think you should take a look at
+Richard Gauthier I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else is searching for ice hockey goalie training try Skyarza Hockey Coaching Star (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my brother in law got cool success with it.
I get it what the coach is saying here ,the best training my son got was a figure skating coach who learnt him to skate to a better standard I agree with him here but dont over look the better you can skate the more advantage you have to the young lads dont this is for girls it's harder than you think
Chris I love watching your videos. I always learn something and I pass it on to my son who is a 10 U . He is a fast and great skater but he has problems with stick handling and shooting. Do you think that a Double Decker would be helpful. Thank you for you advice.
Luv that ‘Sauce Kit’. Imma have to get me one of those. Also… 🤣🤣😂 the ole dryer in the basement with the door unhinged. I’m in Canada, and I’d say if I had a dime for every kid - including me - that I personally know of, that PROPERLY drove his/her parents/neighbours absolutely mad by f$&kin’ around in their basement, shooting pucks into an empty dryer, I’d use the money to buy them all a bunch of those shooting tarps, which I never saw around when I was a kid. Ah, the memories. Those damn dryers are f$&kin’ loud, man. Not least because it’s basically a metal reverberation chamber. I’ve had neighbours from another house banging on our front door about the noise. Can’t imagine how it affected my mom. Especially with both myself & my brother doing it, it sh$t like that. Lastly… That’s a great idea making your own x deviator. I am going to try that one out too. Thx. For the vid.
Cal Berry Just go to any plastic store or specialist and ask for a 3mm thick HDPE sheet (whatever size you want). Thats what a shooting pad is made from. It will cost a lot less that buying it from a hockey store.
I watched all the videos comparing the sauce toss and original saucer kit but in your opinion which would you buy over the other if you only had the money to buy one right now?
I'd buy the Sauce Kit! It's a lot better. You can put all your pucks into it and Don't have to take a big can full of pucks around what's a pretty underrated fact about the sauce kit. You can also use it as an inline goal what's nice. Before I had my sauce kit I've been walking around with 70x40 cm net. So in my opinion, the Sauce Kit is better.
+Justin Rodriguez It really depends, if you're staying in the same place (most of the time) Sauce Toss. We really like the little net in the middle of the larger net (makes it harder and more fun). If you'd like to move around a lot then the Sauce Kit.. Light weight and easy to carry.. Also fantastic for pond hockey!
Great vid thanks for the help but I was just wondering I found a green biscuit that is pink. It was the only one at the hockey shop I was just wondering if there was a difference as when I asked the cashier they didn’t know.
+James Billington yeah me too, have a cheap stick and just use my tennis balls for stick handling. Do have a couple of old tabletops lying around so I'll give it a go! Cheers!
Hey, I shoot 60% wrist shots and 40% slap shots. Do you think I should get the warrior alpha qx3 or the ccm tacks 7092? Thank you to anyone who answers!
Best training equipment in my opinion is a couch. 1. It teaches you how to ride the bench a valuable skill. 2. It teaches the hard earned skill of procrastination. 3. Pavel Barber uses it.
Michael Schmidig Lmaoooo

golf balls work pretty well add varying levels of tape to decrease difficulty they're cheap too.
+Matt Davis Thank you for sharing
The hockey shot extreme passer is amazing I have used it for 2-3 years and it is brilliant
+Video Gamer We prefer the EZ Puck rebounder.
another way to train off ice if you dont have inline skates or enough money for going to the rink, is to wear youre normal skates with skateguards and get a feel for wearing them and it feels a bit more natural. its not the best alternative but its better than nothing. Happy Training
Smart hockey balls are my favorite stick handling balls. My favorite are the minis

This video is really helpful. Unfortunately a lot of these products may not be available now or are too expensive but I really want the green biscuit and wanna make the stick handling practice with old sticks.
Y'all should try buttendz it's grip for the end of your hockey stick so you never have to retake the end of your stick again
Had this on x2 speed and his stick skills were mad
Great vid thank you

The EZPuck Shooting Board Ultimate Combo is a great multi purpose kit also.
I love the swedish stickhandling ball and Green Biscuit as I am a stickhandling freak!

The stick would always run over the fuggin ball.... Ahh. Remember how when you lost your good pucks and balls, you had to resort to the tennis ball. LMFAO

Hope to see the Brits get better at Hockey and one day they can compete in the second tier if countries.
do you prefer the sauce toss or the hockey sauce kit? love the videos! keep it up!
Depends, if its on an uneven surface then sauce toss. If we need something light and portable its the sauce kit.
Hockey Tutorial ok thank you!
Can I use the Mars blade with figure skates? I was told to purchase purchases slide board for off ice training by my physical therapist. He suggests I use it slowly sliding side to side, to engage my muscles when transfer weight and lifting one foot, when skating.

+Richard Gauthier I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else is searching for ice hockey goalie training try Skyarza Hockey Coaching Star (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my brother in law got cool success with it.

The extreme passing kit from hockey shot love that thing destroyed my basement lol
Unfortunately I live in a small studio apartment and don’t really have anywhere off ice to train
I get it what the coach is saying here ,the best training my son got was a figure skating coach who learnt him to skate to a better standard I agree with him here but dont over look the better you can skate the more advantage you have to the young lads dont this is for girls it's harder than you think
What about something to track your shooting speed ?
If I’d like to be defense, i should very much still consider getting the 4:50 tarp right?
Shooting tiles
