Overcoming Failure is not literally 100% of the time. Overcoming Failure is a hot topic in psychology that doesnt necessarily mean you failed. You cant fail before you even attempt, and there has to be success in order for failure to even apply. This is the first one, and his first attempt. Art did overcome failure or "his fears for failure" he did not fail at all. Its not what you say its how you say it. Note chris literally bulleted every stage of "overcoming failure" very good head on his shoulders and a great friend to his.

Hallelujah!!! Bravo Art!!! It's normal to have stage fright. It isn't typical to do so well on the first attempt at doing this. So, already Art has proven himself exceptional. I hope he enjoyed the results enough to want to do it again. This is a breakthrough step for his entertainment career if he decides to go beyond the social media platform. So glad he had a good experience. It is not easy getting up in front of an audience and try to give them a positive experience. I did 6 sets a day, 180 days a year for over 30 years. (I taught MS). There were some sets that I totally failed at, but most were pretty fun. Will Art be posting his 6 minute show?

(Is that video even still public or did you private it?) And, you have more than 350,000 subscribers today because you kept at it and you got better with every uploaded video.
Art may need reminding that he was in the same boat and has been almost as successful, though he is still reaching for that 350K?
What both of you put your mind to, you both work to achieve. It's a great look. You're both good role models.

I'm convinced that stand-up comedy is the hardest form of a stage show. It's you and the audience. Either your jokes go over or they don't, and only great delivery can make up for a really bad joke. I give Art a ton of credit for trying it and apparently succeeding. I'm not sure if he ever did comedy at open mic nights, etc, so to plan an entire show with guest comedians is a big step and one many people wouldn't take. That takes gumption. It may not have paid off financially. I'm sure it will pay off in other ways if it hasn't already.

I performed in college and wanted to go pro so I drove out to an open mic night and I got so nervous that I turned back! I went the next time and I killed! Thus began about ten years off-and-on of a semi-pro career. I got laughs and applause, I got dead silence and I got booed off of a stage. (I'm actually proud of that one!) Yes, I got nervous but the trick is to go ahead anyway and to practice. You are a damn good performer, Art! And Merry Christmas!

I do Karaoke VERY rarely and I been on stage since I was 6. Im 28 now and still controlling your nerves and stage fright will always be difficult. Then comedy is very hard as it is. This is very commendable. For a first time, it was staged very well, you sold ANY amount of tickets which is better then none. And then it turned out well so all in all, yall just was psyching yourselves up a bit nd maybe needed to decompress nd give it a break then to keep working working working. ❤

Art had the typical first time on stage "stage fright". And that is how it plays out. Would not be surprised if he even had the dream of being on stage at a strange venue and forgetting all he was to say. Very glad he did so well. Remind him Next Time Will Be Better and Easier. Practice makes perfect. I cannot tell you how many shows l did, comedies and dramas where l had first line!! As Charles Laughton told Bette Davis : never stop daring to go and hang yourself. (Always try to challenge yourself)
