    A bit confused about your conjugations in questions sentences.. Example: Did you have a car? araban var mıydı? or araba var mıydın?

    • @LearnTurkishvia
      @LearnTurkishvia  10 месяцев назад +1

      Did you have a car = Senin araban var mıydı?

      Araba var mıydın I guess

    I dont understand why we need to have the buffer -y- between the question suffixes and the past tense suffixes, e.g. miydim, etc.... . I thought the buffer -y- between the vowels as a single word.

      Buffer letter "y" comes between two vowels and thats the main rule. And also it comes before the past tense suffix in noun sentences. You can assume it as a side rule or exception.
