This is all Geoff singing and acting all parts 🙂 Geoff can sing both bass, baritone and tenor, and uses it in his solo work to cover all parts in the harmonies. He also sings bass in the a cappella group VoicePlay, who are amazing! A good song to start out with would be Hoist The Colours, where you will get a good dose of Geoff's low bass voice 😀😀
I’d never go against what Huldra says but looking at those pics in the background you might love Voiceplay’s Oogie Boogie’s Song from Nightmare Before Christmas ❤
I really enjoyed your reaction- thanks! Voice Play and Geoff Castellucci's solo channel is a big rabbit hole that you will want to check out more of-- you will love it!
Welcome to the Geoff Castellucci & Voiceplay rabbit hole!! Love watching newbies react to Geoff. Only because I heard you sing daddy has base, vioceplay covers that as well. Might be a good introduction to voiceplay for ya😉😉
Yes this is all Geoff, he has one of the deepest tones i have heard. When he hits that really low note it reverbrates through your ribcage. This song is from the first Hobbit movie when all the dwarves gather, hence this the cosplay in the video.
I always love a reactor's first reaction to Geoff!! Do yourselves a favour and check out his other work and Voiceplay, the A Capella group that he's in.
It is all Geoff. He harmonizes with himself (has a 5-octave range), sometimes 3 extras, sometimes 4. After the Elvis cover of Way Down, he started naming his extras with the odd ways people spell his name and when he has 4 extras, one of them is always Darryl. The Rains of Castamere is good, as is 16 Tons, and House of the Rising Sun. Check out one of VoicePlay's recent additions, a cover of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. Wow!
Just Geoff! He has a five octave range and layers himself in his songs. He clones himself for his videos. He sings with his group VoicePlay and usually sings bass but on his solo channel he sings everything. I listen to this when I need to have calm and soothing music to wash away a rough day at work.
It is all geoff. Writes, produces, arranges, edits, and performs everything he does. All those are him. He is part of a group called voiceplay. U should check them out too. He is their bassist
Welcome to Geoff and his 5 octave range... and, yes, this is all Geoff doing all parts. He was a voice actor and singer for Universal Studios because of how he can manipulate his voice to fit whatever he wants... he is a natural bass, however.
Seeing your awesome Jack and Sally pictures behind you, you must check out his group Voiceplay as they have 4 Nightmare Before Christmas covers, Oogie Boogie, Kidnap the Sandy Claws, This is Halloween and What’s This, they are amazing
Geoff recently did "I See Fire" from Hobbit 2. This is from Hobbit 1. His latest video is "Folsom Prison Blues". He did Johnny Cash proud. Voiceplay latest is "Drunken Sailor". So much fun.
My favorite things is watching reactors see Geoff (or Voiceplay) for the first time. It is always a hoot, you did not disappoint. Usually, all the Geoff's look alike, but he's been branching out. It's funny, those three low notes? All the same note. Really, he just sang the note in three different ways. Don't know how he does it, but he is wonderful!!! Suggestions: Shenandoah - calming and beautiful Ain't No Sunshine - heartbreaking House of the Rising Sun - he's just showing off When you get ready to look at Voiceplay, you will find that the lineup changed twice in the last 2 years. They are one man short and use featured artists to fill the gap. Suggestions: Hoist the Colours from Pirates of the Caribbean 3 - left reactors speechless, one walked out forgetting that he was only wearing boxers We Don't Talk About Bruno - brilliant and funny Can't Help Falling in Love - gorgeous and romantic Subscribed in anticipation of more Geoff and some Voiceplay!
Not only is Geoff singing, but he did the arrangement and the video too. Hope you check out some more - 16 Tons seems to be the biggest crowd favorite - my favorite is his cover of "Ain't No Sunshine." Have fun! Watch Way Down, or Rains of Castamere for some of the BEST of the multi-Geoff effects. Way Down was so much fun he named his doubles.
Welcome to Geoff (Jeff)'s rabbit hole. And yes, I can confirm what others already said: all 4 of them are the same person. Geoff always does that: he "clones" himself in either 4 or 5 different characters, records the video and audio parts of all them, and them edits themselves together, and even gives the precise impression that the various characters directly interact between them. But it's always him. 🙂 He has a 5 octaves range, and uses all of it pretty smoothly. 🙂 This song was maybe the best way to be introduced into Geoff's world. And yes, he's the bass singer of a fantastic a cappella group called Voiceplay, which I strongly suggest you guys to check out. They have a vast archive on their channel here on RUclips, and are just amazing. "The theatre kids" of the a cappella group. If you want to start with a bang, watch either "Hoist the colours" or "My mother told me" (the one where Geoff earned the nickname of "Foghorn Geoff" from other reactors 😁)... Or any other. You just can't fail with these two channels. 🙂 I just subscribed. I loved your reaction, and I don't want to miss any future return to Geoff or Voiceplay. 🙂 See you next time! 🙂
If you'd like to hear how high and low Geoff can go, try Oogie Boogie's Song, or Blackbird. Oogie Boogie's Song is actually performed by VoicePlay, the a cappella group that Geoff is the bass singer for, but in that song he takes center stage as the lead singer. In just about any video he has on his solo channel you'll hear him go low, but the backing singers (Geoff "clones") he'll often be singing in the high baritone/low tenor range.
Surprise! Surprise! "They" are ALL the same GEOFF! LOL!! Absolutely amazing isn't he? He does all the production, choreography, singing, etc. on all his solo songs. His friends and teammates from his a capella group VOICEPLAY (which you also must check out!) help with the backdrop sets and props; his wife Kathy is usually the one doing the outstanding makeup and costuming. New subscriber! Great reaction! I LOVE first time reactions to Geoff (pronounced "Jeff"), and hope to see many more of him and Voiceplay on your channel! And yes, he is of Italian heritage, but is originally from Virginia, is currently 42, and resides in Orlando, Florida, where he previously worked as a performer at Universal. He's one of the most versatile singers on the planet and can go into a range called "subharmonics" in his bass range.
For more Geoff, check out Ain't No Sunshine, House of the Rising Sun or Blackbird. All are excellent! You are also correct about voicebox size, a larger voicebox allows for longer vocal cords with can vibrate slower and give deeper bass.
Well done on Castellucci, (yes it's Italian) but Geoff is pronounced Jeff. And yes it's all Geoff, harmonising with himself. And yes it affects women, and a lot of men too. :) This is a feature of his work, to clone himself to show him singing all the parts, and then putting it together in edit on the computer. He is the bass in VoicePlay acapella group but this is all him. The way he keeps looking across fools people into thinking he's a quartet or quintet :) Yoy might enjoy him doing Ghost Riders in the Sky.
I'm late to the "yes it's all the same guy" party. Geoff is, as others have said, amazingly talented. He has a great sense of humor too. And Voiceplay is also amazing, check them out.
Daddy sang bass has been covered by Voiceplay a few years ago.... Welcome to Geoff and Voiceplay.. I totally agree with everything IIona has said. Am subscribing in anticipation of more Geoff and subsequently Voiceplay. ❤️🇬🇧
Yes, Geoff (Jeff) Castellucci. Geoff quartet here look at the hands they have a wedding ring on the left and a band on the middle finger on the right. Geoff clones himself for his videos so he and harmonize all the parts. You should treat yourselves to VoicePlay #TheatreKidsOfACappella his group where he is one of the founding members, and is their bass. Love all of Geoff's covers. VoicePlay is hands down my favorite acapella group, Home Free is next in line. Check out Geoff's cover of Sixteen Tons.
@@TouchyReactions please do a reaction video of Geoff's cover of Shenandoah. Also please do a reaction video of Voice Plays cover of Dream On originally by Aerosmith. Voice Play does it better. ...with Voice Play & Geoff, never end the video until after the credits roll or you could miss something good .
Don't let your wife see anymore of Geoff or his cohorts. No no no, I'm telling you there are yt video compilations of just ladies reacting to Geoff's out standing vocals. Its a thing......oh no Ethel, it's to late..........lol thank you both for your time and comments.
If you want a good example of how Geoff Castellucci "clones" himself checkout his cover of 16 Tons, House of the Rising Sun, or Blackbird. The man is phenomenally talented. I'm not sure what he will do for the this Christmas but last year he did an incredible cover of GOD Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Cool, you discovered Geoff! He has tons of stuff and always plays multiple parts in his videos. I particularly love his Halloween and Christmas songs he does by himself and also with Voiceplay. They're quite well-known for dressing up in costumes for their performances. I quite like Voiceplay's rendition of the Viking song "My Mother Told Me". Geoff is like a foghorn in that one. :) ruclips.net/video/bs4ZJpWJh_Q/видео.html
Not a lot of people that can do what he does? Check out the 4 man a cappella group called the Bass Gang. Four guys -- working from Europe, Africa, and 2 different US states - all bass singers with amazing ranges and a hell of a lot of talent. May intro to them was Hooked On a Feeling ft. Tim Foust from Home Free. Three of them were able to get together recently and they've found some great ways to include their 4th member who couldn't leave his country.
Fun reaction! You might enjoy either Geoff's cover of 'Way Down' for his fun side (his clones get named), or his latest 'Ghost Riders In the Sky' (with extra clone).
Given the art behind you, you should check outbhis acapella group Voiceplay's Oogie Boogie Song, What's This, This is Halloween, and Kidnap the Sandy Clause.
This was the first Geoff video I saw, when I was pulled into the world of Geoff Castelucci and his group VoicePlay. Congratulations, you know touch on BOTH of my musical interests. They consists of Sabaton/Tommy Johansson and VoicePlay/ Geoff Castellucci with The Bass Gang, another acapella group consisting of 4 young basses from different parts of the world. I've already visited your channel many times due to Sabaton. If you continue reacting to Geoff and VoicePlay we will meet soon again. More Tommy solo works as well on my wishlist.
It is all Geoff. (Pronouced Jeff...) You should try his cover of Ghost Riders on the Sky! Or his cover of the Beatles cover of Blackbird. It is just Geoff though!
If that wasn't the same person, that would be quite crazy that there's 4 guys with the same eyes, same nose, same eyebrows, same forehead, I mean XD 4 brothers
Yes, that's all Geoff (Jeff). All his solos are like that, with 4 or 5 of him. People often mispronounce or misspell his first name and two of his videos play on that. Check his name tags in his video for Way Down, the Elvis Presley song, and check the credits for the name of Geoff's 4 clones who join him as backup vocals in Ghost Riders in the Sky And yes, he is married. It looks like you haven't run across Home Free, the 3rd major a cappella group, with VoicePlay and Pentatonix, who are all friends and may sometimes work with each other, on screen and behind the scenes. Watch the video Misty Mountains by Peter Hollens feat. Tim Foust. That is the same song as this one, just with a shortened title. Peter is an a cappella performer with the voice of an angel. Tim Foust is the bass singer for Home Free, with a 5+ octave range. Actually, a good introduction to his group is Zombies vs Hillbillies (VoicePlay vs Home Free) - Survivor. It was a performance for the battle that never happened on season 4 of The Sing-Off (which Home Free won) but they made the video and performed it live on the Sing-Off tour which followed. Be prepared for your numbers to explode if you start reacting to Home Free. They are much beloved, with that sentiment going both ways.
Update: Add Folsom Prison Blues to the list of Geoff/Jeoph/Goff/Jeff/Daryl videos. Filmed in an actual prison. And if you like the hair, check out Austin Brown's lovely braids in Remember My Name by Home Free.
Yep it's all just 1 guy, Ryan is correct. It's a great rabbit hole to go down checking out Geoff's solo videos and also his acapella group Voiceplay. In honour of the pictures behind you on the wall I would suggest their version of 'Oogie Boogie Song' as a great starting point 👍
