For us, falling down the rabbit hole of Drayton Farley's music started with "American Dream". This song sums up the way that it feels to be living right now better than about any other we have heard. It is clear that he knows the blue-collar life as well as anyone. We asked Drayton if he'd play us this one and it meant a lot to us that he agreed.
Drayton is one of those artists who seems to have every single thing about his craft perfected. His songwriting is top tier and his voice is reminiscent of some of the greats but remains authentically his own. It's a real honor to have him on this channel and he and his team deserve all the love y'all got, they are good folks!

I think most people think the American dream isn't bullshit. But it is very much corrupted, and by the people Oliver Anthony songs about. Or mayb better said, what normies see / feel in his lyrics. Quite the difference in the feel.

Hardest part of songwriting is honesty. Drayton is the best songwriter I've seen in a very very long time . Top notch stuff. Can't say enough good about him . He'll be known as one of the greatest ever because of channels like this . Just amazing now a days in the online music world.
@@JimXultra drayton and Benjamin Todd/ lost dog street band are by far the best songwriters, singers, and most talented musicians I've ever encountered in my life. I primarily listen to punk, and folk punk and I cannot deny the raw, pure talent drayton has. Id highly recommend listening to lost dog street band or Benjamin Todd's solo stuff .. they lyrics and the music are phenomenal.
