Me too. I even subscripted to the Smithsonian Channel Plus to watch but it was only the one season so, I discontinued the subscription. But I would love to see subsequent seasons of Orangutan School.

Don't judge me but this literally made my day since I was having a bad one anyway. I was so depressed that this series was done and we would get no more updates, but to say I am overjoyed is such an understatement!

@@mylovetowardsmothernature8635 orangutan have to be released into the wild when they're older/ready, imagine the heartbreak that will occur on farewell day.. + poacher and forest fire are constant threat to wild orangutans.

I just love orangutans , there is something about them that holds a special spot in heart for them. They need us to survive, they really do need us. They are one animal I think can be domesticated.
I don't usually call them a animal. I call them tree people. Indonesia calls them the people of the trees to. Such amazing animals and they aren't violent and they're loving and can be sweet and kind. And adorable

I have wasted two years watching videos of macaques. How I've managed to miss these Orangutan vids, I can't imagine. I despise macaques Orangutans, especially the babies, are fascinating.
plus those macaques are squirrel slapping jerks, lol. ( I had to watch that video 3 times in a row cuz it was so funny)

Orangutans are like the perfect primate, basically all the cuteness of chimps but without the constant screeching and attempting to rip your face off when they grow up. In fact, there has never been one single recorded case of a human killed by an Orangutan.
And also adult male orangutans pretty much have a similar strength level to a gorilla
The behavior of Orangutans are so similar to humans. Untie the knot not pulling the fruit, and licking the finger with face wishing to have more.

It’s 10:38 pm CST and I’m watching this. Let this quarantine end already.
Could have been far more under control by now, but people don't seem to be able to delay satisfaction, see loved ones Now...maybe not see them next holidays at this rate, but NOW! And so, quarantine continues and will after the Christmas/New Years season, because people keep making their own circumstance...the exception. I know how it goes, hear it all the time, the justifications for the gathering, not taking precautions...we could get it under control in a matter of 3, 4 mths, track, trace. In Italy not allowed to travel to places in zones worse off than your own...granted this is much more difficult with U.S. large population, bad examples, etc. but coooperation still could go a long way.
