- Can our Junkyard Twin Turbo Mustang Beat a Lamborghini Huracan STO? Let's find out! In the last video we prepped the budget twin turbo mustang to be as fast as possible for as cheap as possible. So we loaded it and the bed mount turbo Colorado up and headed to the track to race @SaylorMade new Lamborghini STO, a factory built racecar costing 100x the mustang.
Is it possible for a regular joe blow with a 9-5 job to cheaply "build" a car that can compete with such a high caliber of vehicle. Mind you this mustang has a completely stock 2v 4.6 with a 600 dollar turbo kit and a stock grinding transmission, nothing special that anyone could replicate in a weekend. Lets turn it up and see what its capable of.

The fact that Will spanked that Lambo with a shitbox only confirms for me that if I had that kind of money to spend, I would build a car for a fraction of that $300k, and leave the rest in the bank. Great video guys.
Oh yeah. They are more race cars than drag cars its the weight to power ratio, handling, and all the other nuances of the supercars that make them so desirable. You could probably compete with weight speed and handling in a mustang if it was pretty built but you definitely arent keeping up on a windy track with the lambo without amazing suspension. Otherwise agreed.

20 something years ago i had a 96 gt with 99 PI heads (ported) intake and cams tremmec 3550 and 4:10's. Made it 11:1 with 150 shot it was around 600 hp fly wheel. Love the modular engines. 75K miles sold it for 6800.0
