Same! I got a rid of my bratz dolls a long time ago. I really regretted it, my brother and I had a lot even some rare ones! Even though I feel bad for getting a rid of them I actually still have one from that which is my costume party Cloe, fortunately I started to collect them again and now I have 5 in total. But good news is that they are coming back! Except only in the US for now. Hopefully soon they will be in international stores soon!
Also I think what made them great was the fact they were a group of girl best friends. That’s what I always loved because I wanted friends like that. Plus the fact their outfits were so nice and they were so different compared to the other dolls at the time. So many interesting themes when they came out unlike other dolls.

One thing I noticed while watching those news broadcasts is the store manger would refer to the bratz as "she" and not they... it's very interesting that back then ppl were so used to a doll brand focusing on a single person instead of a group
I was always a Barbie kid, but grew to appreciate Bratz around 2005 (Rock Angelz Yasmin & Eitan and Campfire Phoebe being my 1st 2 Bratz) and I always regretted not getting into them sooner. This was back when Barbie had an aisle all to herself on both sides just pink everything. I was always attracted to that aspect, so if it wasn't on that aisle I didn't see it lol So glad I have a 2nd chance to grab these girlies up! Pray for my bills because they'll have to wait lol
I can’t explain how much I miss these times.. i would give anything just to travel back to 2003 and choosing a doll I want 😢 nowdays it’s sadly really hard to get bratz dolls because they’re considered as ,rare'. It’s kills me that I will NEVER get this experience, as I’m a boy my mother NEVER let me play with dolls/bratz :( I had to sneak in my cousins room to play with them and they’ll black mail me if I play with them, now that I’m 18 I want to get bratz dolls for myself I don’t care what my mom says anymore she has to accept me
I haven't experienced what you have but as a parent I understand the fear of your child not loving their image and how they were created. That fear and concern can cause a parent to put walls up on what they will allow their child to play with. "That all things are permissible but not always beneficial" Because it sounds like she equated playing dolls to a sense of identity with them. I'll say my fashion sense was I influenced by them. But all these things I enjoy will pass on and there are things I wish I did as a kid too. I wish I had Lego sets and planes. But it's ok now. Livinf under a parent is difficult but that's what comes with childhood. We cant live without them but once an adult we have freedom to choose.As an adult I enjoy some these things but I look foward to me hobbies and interests.

My dad was against it at first, but my mom stepped in. But it was always brought to my attention that this is a secret. We don't talk about this. When we would shop, we'd have this fake dialogue about my sister's birthday we always used. She would always ask me to "pick out which one you think *she* will like". She was just protecting me in her own way. Your mom will love you no matter what. I'm sure there are worse things you could be off doing she'd rather you not.

The girls interviewd mentioned Bratz and myscene and talked about why they chose Bratz over them. So for the audience in the back who don't know who they are, now they know. But this wasn't a video for their praise, but for Bratz. So Bratz is 95% of what you get🙂
