Serious thanks to my crazy wonderful friend Rob Loeffler who drive 6hrs to help me before driving back to California in the morning. I had a blast and you really were a big help - THANK YOU!! I had to force a gift on him, the very first piece of my new Eucrite, Goudara 003. It should be official any day now,

Im Finding Bloomery Slag. Because of its extremely high Nickel content im wandering if Bloomery slag may be meteoric by nature? Tho manipulated by ancient man these are great finds on my archaeological sites. If you have any answers please lmk :) thank you .
Probably not. Bloomeries have nothing to do with meteorites, just man-made waste.
@@TopherspinMeteorites thank you :)
@@TopherspinMeteorites thank you :) i realized i asked the wrong question or at least asked it in the wrong fashion. You properly answered my question. Yes Bloomery slag is not meteoric, but is the raw iron before it is used in bloomeries before it becomes slag meteoric by nature? because of its hi nickel content ? I came across a crappy article on Wikipedia.org then some articles on ScholarWorksW&M.edu that spoke of such things however found no photos, no real citations were found, so i take it for a grain of salt. i am pry overthinking this whole thing im just super intrigued because im in Florida digging near native American sites and its like how could it get there? Where could it be from? spaniards
@@rockhound3.14 No telling. The locals were using Campo del Cielo for tools long before it was officially 'discovered' in 1576.
How do I bid on future auctions?
