When the witch told young Cersei her future she said "you will have 3 children. Gold will be their crowns and gold their shrouds."
A shroud is a ceremonial blanket used to cover the body of the dead.
The statue they pulled off the pyramid was a harpy, which is a sign of slavery, which Dany is trying to abolish in Mereen. Jon is NOTHING like Varys! Yes, they both want the overall good for everyone but thats where the similarities end.
Agreed. Jon is a good man but has NO political sense. He's just but has no pragmatism. Ned Stark in miniature.
Remember their dragons that are at their teenage era, just like any teen their rebellious & angry since they got locked up.
I'm with Mance, him bending the knee just to enlist his people in a pointless war over the iron is dumb. Especially when Winters Coming
Without Mance to unite them, there was no way to make the wildlings serve a southern king.
Jon knew using his arrow on the guy would probably only get him a slap on the wrist , after all Stannis respected Ned Stark and Jon is his son .
Dany would never hurt her dragons or have them kill each other. They are her children.
Mance bending the knee wouldn't have any effect. If he bends the knee and takes this to his people, they wouldn't trust him anymore. They won't listen to him, and maybe some faction would kill him. The wildlings don't just follow him blindly. They follow the cause, that he would betray if he bent the knee. Maybe he could reason with some amount of them, but he has his own beliefs as well.
Not only that but bringing ur people to fight in a war that has nothing to do with yall when the real threat is behind the wall would be dumb
Mance was a REAL Man and you can tell how much respect Jon had for him! Chad way to go,and even chadder the mercy arrow of Jon Snow!
LEGENDARY
I gotta use "chadder" from now on lmao
Back in S3E4, Daenerys told Kraznys mo Nakloz, the slave trader in Astapor, that a dragon is not a slave. Maybe she's also learning the truth of that statement now.
Nah, nah Sophie, Dany considers the dragons her children, and would never send them to kill each other! Besides, they are intelligent and would never attack another one of their siblings! The dragon that is still out and they can't find (Drogon) is the alfa!
can't believe you guys think jon is as smart as Varys.
Well, these two are about as smart as Gilly....
@@nathanlindahl8336 not wrong
Mance promised the Wildlings they never have to bend the knee to any king.....he died with integrity by keeping his word
i finally caught up with y’all reactions omg
Y'all are on a roll and I'm here for it! Loving the pacing❤
Great episode, I likes your reaction on Mance especially
Jon is NOWHERE near as smart as varys. Varys has been in favour of a targaryen restoration even before the death of king robert and has set it up perfectly
two of my favourite reactors. enjoy Season 5!
I would betray everyone and anyone to not have to burn alive. rofl. They're not gonna remember me anyways. I like that Jon denied the Lord of Light his sacrifice.
If you don’t believe Varys wants what’s best for the realm, then you have missed a lot along the way.
Oh I don't know about that. Even through to the end of the eighth season, on anyone's first watch through, it's difficult to trust everyone's motivations, or your own view of it, 100%. Maybe it's just that you've watched it so many times by now, that you can't remember all the different phases of perspective people go through before they really have the story down and established a set perspective..
@@neryskkiran1820 agreed
@@neryskkiran1820 that season was horrible and made no sense.
@@LauraGS564 I happen to agree with you, 💯% but there's no need to make Mair & Sophie think they're not picking up on stuff, or not getting things -- things that people often don't get until they have the context of the complete series under their belts, or maybe even have read the books;
context context context context.
I was objecting to what the commenter said: "... then you have missed a lot along the way."
The way the commenter is saying the channel reactor's are inattentive, or oblivious, when it's really just inexperience with the story (or lack of context).
I just feel like: why try to make people feel insecure (in any case), but ESPECIALLY when it's not warranted.
Anyway, if you feel that way about the last season, please join the club! Or I'll join yours!
Have you seen Glidus' GOT reviews on RUclips? You'd love them. Glidus. He also thinks the last season is horrible season and makes no sense. And he doesn't hold back! You'll feel better - I promise!
I'd paste a link, but you since you shouldn't click on links from strangers, just google:
glidus season 8 pisstake
and the search results should give you his RUclips s8e1 review. It's the first in his GOT season 8 review playlist.
His content is for people who have already seen the series, so:
THERE ARE SPOILERS in ALL his content, for anyone who's reading this, who hasn't seen the whole GOT series.
He's also reviewing HotD. Those are blisstakes.
Have fun!
John shot Mancr cuz he said he didnt wanna die screaming. It was mercy and so he could die eith his honor. But Stannis could have honored what he promised, and they could have figured their next move out after they got in. She's exactly right.
Bravo.
Love your videos! Are you planning on watching House of the Dragon??
Where can I go to recommend a new show for you guys?
I'm probably alone on this but, IMO, everyone misunderstands that scene with the dragons- including Dany.
I don't believe they are upset with her. If you watch again, one dragon shoots fire upward-- to light the room. They never overtly threaten her. She panics and leaves, but I really believe they were just showing her how big they'd gotten. More like Mommy!! we missed you!! look at us!! I think we forget that Dany doesn't really know much about the history of her people's relationships with dragons in terms of how to raise or train or understand them. She's just been winging it thus far. And they are dragons. They're big and scary❣️
⚜️ "Winging it" 🐲 😉
Make 2 of the dragons kill the other one??????? 😂😂😂😂 the complete lack of understanding of what you’re watching is amazing
Lets goo season 5! Also, what happened to the barry reactions?
trust me there are weirdos who feel bad for twyin dying
Maybe not feel bad for him dying just gonna miss the character, he was a damn good actor for sure
Hey, I liked Tywin lol. But the way he treated Tyrion did cause his own demise.
Sophie is so beautiful! I have been trying not to comment on your beauty Sophie because I know we don't make a big deal of men's looks but my goodness... You glow.
As for the episode... It was great to get that glimpse into Cersei's past. She has been dealing with growing paranoia, I'd say - after Joff's death.
Pay attention to how Stannis is with Jon and what he says about him.
Mance, great character but also amazing actor, also starring in HBO Rome. I mean damn. Huge letdown and a waste for such an amazing actor. Sad beans. Opportunity wasted.
I feel bad about Tywin dying 😢
All the odd numbered seasons are the good ones. One, three, five and seven.
Nani?
You’ve lost me. What does that mean?
@@jamiewilson9280 confused why you think only the odd seasons are good when 2 and 4 are right there
@@EricJr1999 All the most surprising and impactful stuff happens in those seasons. Ned Starks death, the red wedding … and I’m saying no more because these two haven’t watched them yet.
Yay, last season! (worth watching..)
Ridiculous
the last episode i care enough to watch reactions to is spoils of war. I'd say even with the shows issues, at least watchin to there is worthwhile.
what episode are you guys on, on patreon?
did she really say is she the three eyed raven maybe and will she make those 2 dragons kill the other one , this girl a straight blonde smh
Enjoy the next couple of seasons because the last season is awful.
Why do you waste your time posting such pointless drivel?
Imo the quality is severely worse after season 4. The final 2 are the worst though.
@@kylio95i thought season 6 was pretty good
@@audreyhepburns season 6 is full of the dumbest writing
@@audreyhepburns If you look deeper it wasn't honestly. I won't go into details here because of spoilers for these two. But the thing that happens at the start of 6x10 makes absolutely no sense in hindsight and was just a way for D&D to wrap up plotlines quickly with some spectacle. GoT honestly started to fall off in season 4 with the omission of Lady Stoneheart, among other things. It just got more noticeable later on.
