    Welcome to an improvised and evolving ambient dance techno jam. It starts out slow but it get's to be quite an introspective journey by the end, if I do say so myself.
    Featuring two #Behringer 2600, Kobol Expander, Neutron, Pro-1 and RD-9. Definitely taking some inspirations from both my modular synth hero, Colin Benders and present day techno legend Voiski. Enjoy!

    I like your videos and style of music, the Polyend tracker can work as a midi sequencer with up to 128 steps per pattern,

    • @electronictiger
      @electronictiger  4 месяца назад

      Thank you Stuart! The Polyend tracker is an excellent suggestion. Definitely something I need to take a closer look at again. At heart I'm still a tracker kid, with Renoise being my tracker of choice. In that regard when the Polyend tracker came out it didn't offer me anything I needed over Renoise. But as a midi-brain it could actually do the trick for me. Thanks!!

      I use a Polyend tracker for both drums and midi since the latest update has 8 tracks and now 4 extra midi tracks it is capable of running cc messages which I have yet to make use of but I will have to experiment with this soon

    • @electronictiger
      @electronictiger  4 месяца назад

      @@StuartHarrod That does sound rather excellent indeed! So you're programming the drums and running samples from the Polyend Tracker?
      I wish my hardware synths would respond to CC message. But if you have something that can make use of it, go for it! Free modulation sources are always nice.

      @@electronictiger I did make a track using a sample and programmed the drums ,I will definitely give using the cc messages a try when using my gear with midi

    Very enjoyable, I understand wanting to "warn" people that it's a slow burn but I love a long build up. Great track.

    • @electronictiger
      @electronictiger  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks mate! I do wish that longer build ups were still en-vogue. They can be such a great way to draw you into a track. And letting you live there for a little while. Instead of rushing through.

      @@electronictiger 100% agree, some of my favourite tracks and songs are way over ten minutes long. It's like the show burn of a good TV series rather than the fast rush of a movie. You can luxuriate in it for longer. Keep up the solid work.

    Take a look at the Retrokits RK-008, it is a modern take at the Alesis MMT-8 in a small package. Quick to operate, real time and step sequencing, remote operable from MIDI.
    A different kind of sequencer is the Torso Electronics T-1, more on the generative side of composition.

    • @electronictiger
      @electronictiger  4 месяца назад

      Thank you DrKunz!! Just saw a picture of the Retrokits RK-008 and I dig the styling of that thing. Reading the description piques my interest for sure. I'm gonna watch some videos on it.
      The Torso Electronics T-1 seems like a very capable sequencers. But indeed very focused on generative stuff, which isn't really my jam. But I if I was I would be all over that thing as it seems like a powerhouse. Anyway, thank you very much for your suggestions!! ♥

    • @DrKunz
      @DrKunz 4 месяца назад +1

      @@electronictiger Actually the T-1 can be useful in may ways. As a Euclidean sequencer, a traditional step sequencer, a MIDI effect processor and a Control Change sequencer/controller. I guess it would do well along with your current sequencer, it's a versatile device.

    • @electronictiger
      @electronictiger  4 месяца назад +1

      @@DrKunz Those are good points you bring up. And make me want to take a closer look again at the T-1.
      Been watching some videos on the RK-008 and it looks very promising. The reason I haven't jumped on it yet is that there might be modular version with CV outs coming out by the end of the year. Tugging it into a Eurorack case is very appealing to me.3
      Thanks again DrKunz! I really appreciate you thinking along.

      @@electronictiger Ah, you must have found the presentation at Superbooth 2024 ruclips.net/video/JF8iomgWdRM/видео.html 😄
      I forgot to mention it, I'd guess it would find a good place in your setup. Infinite budget + infinite room + infinite time to play all the existing gear... what a dream 😄

      @@DrKunz Yup, indeed from the Sonic State video.
      Maybe synth studio's should be holiday destinations? Instead of going to a city or far off place out in nature for a week. You book a synth studio for that time. And just hangout there. Playing with the gear with nothing else to do. No real goal, just faffing about enjoying yourself. Seems like a good vacation to me.
