Since we’re doing Universal Animation movie trailers we need Curious George, An American Tale, and An American Tale: Fievel goes West, The Land Before Time, and We’re Back: A Dinosaur’s Story.
Damn, I haven’t seen this film in YEARS from what I can recall. I do remember though that this got two DTV sequels, because while the film didn’t do so well theatrically (Disney’s _Toy Story_ was doing much better around this time), home video sales did fairly well for this film well enough to warrant those sequels.
Ah yes, the original theatrical trailer in its original ratio. It was later cropped in pan and scan fullscreen for the home video release preview on many mid-90's MCA/Universal Home Video releases.
Yeah, actually Amblimations previous film Were back was the first non-Disney film to be animated entirely digitally, so Balto should be too. However I don’t think the original digital source files were preserved, so the best quality version of this movie is on film now due to that.

My all time favorite movie from Universal
This was the exact movie trailer for Balto (1995) was seen in the VHS releases of The Land Before Time (1988) and Balto II: Wolf Quest (2002).

Like the 1996 VHS release of The Land Before Time (1988).
I knew that you’re going to scan that trailer!
One sad thing is that the Film was animated digitally, so a scan of the film dose not really bring out more detail.
