I feel bad for the X and Trip situation. Its similar to Peep and Tracy, X n Trip were very, very close homies and brothers, they had a falling out, like most friendships do and sadly they never got to resolver their differences. Be real, think. It probably haunts Trip to this day that they never got to settle their issues, even tho they beefed, they will have loved each other deep down still. Not dicking riding or any of that shit im just being real.
At this point, i dont think trippy cares about being mainstream, hes just focusing on his fans and what hes got. I personally liked allty5 and his new saint michaels project. IMO hes making music thats dying out and its dying because “its not something people wanna hear” but i do LOL
He'll come back, it's just a matter of time, he's producing a lot because of his recent deal he got. However, he has to be cautious not to destroy his career before that
i dont think his career is over tho. Rappers are always able to push back and create new sounds, thats how they made it in the first place. Look at lil tecca, he was nowhere to be seen around 2020-2022 but now he is back. Im actually looking forward to trippies comeback cause he is talented.
Trippie will always be my favorite artist because of the classics he put out in the past, but I will admit that the quality of his music has been declining. He still has the power to make good music, but he keeps putting out mid songs. There's a song on Saint Michael called "Psychotic Lunatic" which was better than most of the songs on ALLTY5. I feel like he should be more focused on listening to his fans if he wants to sell those big numbers again. Also, emo rap has been dead for years so it's not going to hit anymore, especially since the ppl he usually collabed with aren't here anymore (RIP X & Juice)
trippie's verse on ssg kobe's escape your love is perfection. he still gots it but needs to focus his strength and instead of being all over the place and releasing a bunch of music....
Idk it’s been 7 years at this point. Trippie has had a legendary run and is still young and evolving. I think Trippie is forever cemented above the likes of x, peep, juice, etc. Trippie Redd knows how to manage himself and is pretty genuine. He drops very consistently as well versus his peers carti and uzi.
What tf u talking bout juice world still like top 5 on Spotify last year and he’s dead peep was top 20 . Trippie in his 20s it’s not like he 36 or something.
Falling off does not mean an artist reaching the end of their run. Falling off usually implies they didn't get a full career or their potential wasn't fully realized.

The world doesn’t even operate like that now what makes you think it’ll change/get better? Once you’re done in the game you’re done.
Besides…do artist even get royalties from tik tok. Just bc a group of ppl found an old ass song doesn’t mean it’ll blow up. If thas the case “old skool” music would still be mainstream/popular. Gotta stop thinking like a kid
@@dturfmadeit1518 I’m saying someone upload a video to the worlds largest social media app so it might get attention not cause til too is gonna pay trippie for his music that’s not even how it works lmao
@@dturfmadeit1518 I’m glad u felt like u had something to say but think a lil more about what IM saying rather than what YOU want to say
Worst part is that X died on trippie's birthday...
so trippe fed x drugs to make him go on even tho he didnt wanna do it anymore and let him die alone on a couch? gotcha
@@mornotafiJune 18???
Trippe needs that lover boy era again , “ baby what uou wishing for “ 😔 them was them days
Fall off reaper is the craziest statement I’ve ever heard in 2024
Trippy did not ruined his career stunted it's growth maybe but he still a big artist
Hell nah, bruh he hella underrated and one of the most versatiliest in the game
At this point, i dont think trippy cares about being mainstream, hes just focusing on his fans and what hes got. I personally liked allty5 and his new saint michaels project. IMO hes making music thats dying out and its dying because “its not something people wanna hear” but i do LOL
Taking a walk will always be one of my faves
Been on a massive binge on ur vids
love to see that bro welcome
Even if trippie does fall off and isn’t as relevant it still won’t change he truly the goat of the soundcloud era
Him being cocky definitely contributed to his downfall
trippie redd will never fall off
Guess Trippie being on that song just wasn’t Gods Plan…
1 thing u didn't cover was that a love letter to you 5 had 2 years of hype. He announced it in 2022 and was even suppose to drop that year.
Whole project was leaked and that’s the reason we randomly got MM and ALLTY5 v2
Selling your soul and flopping is wild …….
A love letter to you 3 was peak Trippie Redd
Trippie has and always will be my favorite . He just dropped a whole album with MGK he definitely didn’t fall off 😂😂😂😂💯💯💯💯
He'll come back, it's just a matter of time, he's producing a lot because of his recent deal he got. However, he has to be cautious not to destroy his career before that
Me first

Saint Michael's was incredible
i dont think his career is over tho.
Breh yal say this every time he drop an album “has Trippie fallen off ?” “Trippie redd is done” yap yap yap yall asholes don’t be hurting ??
😂😂😂😂😂 right
17:33 “remember to humble yourself. This shit could be gone in an instant” - J. Cole
Him and X made up from what I remember. X sent him a plaque for Fuck Love and they got on FaceTime and squashed it.
I’m glad a lot of people realized the guy in the video is sayin sum stupid shit glad to see other people with rational thinking
fell off but got 24 mili listeners 😂😂
Nah fr I was expecting him to explain the reasons why and he js talked about his past beef😬
All bots
Man people just love to hate I love trip
almost 25m now lmao
Trust…..ain’t none of them 24 mill(which sounds like bs) maybe 30k actually listen to him.
Saint Michael is 🔥🔥🔥
Idk it’s been 7 years at this point.
@@saintxeno777 yeah but to add to my list Trippie Redd is not dead. Not to take anything away from juice WRLD but it’s true.
@@N7Miker even if it was it wouldn’t have the. Same effect if lucki dropped a album now he would outsell trippie .
Bro peep and x where miles ahead of this dumbass all trippy does is moan w auto tune lmao
Even suicideboys is above this clown these days hahhaa
Trippie's lane got ruled and perfected by others while he couldnt find and STICK WITH A NICHE THAT isnt already over used
Falling off does not mean an artist reaching the end of their run. Falling off usually implies they didn't get a full career or their potential wasn't fully realized.
Trippie had Luv scares first uzi got it from Kodie Shane
y'all people make me sick like you don't appreciate his music just because of the low sales numbers? that's so stupid, stop looking at numbers and enjoy the music, he still releasing bangers after bangers
Old trippie was one of them💯🐐
I agree with everything in the vid , except for what you said about mansion music. The only thing similar between that project and old chief keef was the title of trip’s project being named after one of sosa’s
I still dont understand how pegasus was a flop. It has almost no skips at all
Same I really love it and it's nostalgic for me now
@@HristinaNicole that 2020 era hit different fr
Y'all Love to hate I swear When Life's a Trip 2 Comes Out he's taking his time with that and I have faith he's gonna deliver
I think he still a good artist 💯
Saint Michael V2 is really good.. I found it two months after it dropped.. I think rappers need to get back to marketing themselves better.. Also taking a long time in between projects can help or hurt your career.. I think he just need to focus on marketing cus when you dive into the recent albums hes dropped, he has some really good songs out there..
Am I the only one who likes MANSION MUSIK😭
6:13 “I was too sleepy to do the drake feature” CRAZY 😂😂😂
trippie talking abt losing his friends is so sad to me
Knowing how fake he is ,it just passes me off
Pegasus could’ve definitely sold more but it leaked 2 months before it dropped
trippies love scars is way better than uzis
You’re an npc
@@Jordyyyyyyy trippies love scars is way better than uzi😃
Honestly 2023 just was NOT his year. This could pottentially be the end of his career, but I still have faith that he could pick it up again, I mean he did it before in 2021 but it would take something big. Maybe a duo album with someone else?
Trippie’s the goat. His consistency and mode of being will be appreciated and celebrated some day soon!
Bro Trippie was so good at one point it’s crazy
Idc what anyone says I still love trippie
When it comes to people doing what they love, y’all really gotta stop throwing around the ‘word’ humble because quite frankly y’all either don’t know the meaning of the word or you are using it in the wrong context. If you strive for greatness and believe in yourself the last thing you want to be is humble.
St. Michaels production was krazy. It's his lyrics he never really improved on them over the years
But dude can actually rap, just tryna keep up with younger crowd and style, idk if he switched to like daringer and alchemist beats he gain a fan base that fw him but bro just gotta figure out what his matured style would be
@@_x11111 I'm an oldhead that happens to be a Trippie fan lol. He can rap his azz off on straight up boombap tracks. It's just with his talent and vocal range and production he doesn't do much with his lyrics at times or is repetitive subject matter wise. I think dude just records hella music and drops it for his fans and who likes it not to sell krazy records anymore
music is subjective. enjoy what you enjoy
I don't think uzi luv scars is better than trippies love scars tbh
Some people grow up and their style change over the years even the type of music change and some artists can't keep up with the changes
Shout out to all the Trippie fans coming out the woodworks this video wrong as hell lmfaoo
Saint Micheal pt 1 was awesome ngl
I’m not tryna be that guy but a lot of the stuff you said in this video was just flat out wrong or a lie. Just keep it 100 no disrespect
It’s sad nobody is honest about trippie

Tf love letter 5 was pretty decent, nowhere near bad. It would definitely have been received better if Trippie actually advertised the Album. I didn’t even know it came out until 2 days after it’s release
And now nobody f's with drake
Video just full of misinformation, saint Michael was not an album for his contract, it was meant to be a SoundCloud drop after a bunch of songs leaked earlier that month, it was an EP 7 songs then he added 7 later as a second EP, not an album and it wasnt earlier this year, it was literally last month.
Chief keef Produced the entirety of MM it was not stealing his style.
Saint Michael again was not an album, it wasnt even promoted as such, literally just dropped like hate is dead did in 2021.
ys it on spotify then?
@@rishavfash1rbecause van Cleef was going viral and they decided last minute to put it on all platforms. It being on Spotify doesn't mean it's a studio album, considering it's 7 songs which is an EP by every measure, songs added weeks later was also a second EP fans asked for. Y'all let fictional numbers dictate music, using an EP as a sign of a fall off is desingenious
@@kevinrolle3517 fried his ass lmao 🤣

Great video slime! Trippie still a SoundCloud legend👑🔥
Kinda messed up but imagine Trippie died in 2018: He would be just as big of a name as X and Juice in my opionion. One of the few mainstream rap artists who has real talent for music
real artists grow with their music. Hes still a teenager with the mindset of clowning on others with his success and doesnt focus on his music, which has been terrible and that his whole problem
That’s cap it’s true that they died and blew them but juice & x were even bigger alive than him and I don’t think even if he died he would be big as them
Trippie hadn't delivered as much as X. While Trippie is a really talented artist, X was more than an artist
He is flooding the market with music rn. He needs to take 3 years to perfect his next sound.
He still better than majority of rappers idc what anybody says
That’s a stretch

Hate is dead is an insane mixtape a lot of his fans haven’t heard that have some great songs
He has 24 million monthly streams on spotify. I think he's doing just fine. If you compare that to other artists from his era, he's doing great actually.
Inflated numbers in the industry and a lot of those plays from his old catalog. His new ep selling 7k first week is not good by any stretch imagine I gave u 30 million and your last 3 projects didnt recoup a fraction of what I paid u smh
Question, how many fakin' they streams? (A lot)
Gettin' they plays from machines? (A lot)
I can see behind the smoke and mirrors
Niggas ain't really big as they seem (hmm)
1. buying music shows actual support, pressing the play button is something even a baby can do
2. streams can be bought
3. those streams are barley coming from his newer albums
I have never in my kife heard uzis love scar but definitely know and always listen to trippies love scar
Trippie just needs new people around him. Drops music no one needs like ALLTY5, putting out the wrong songs on albums and making them too long. His name is in the mud rn and the Playboi Carti community will say he is copying everything he does. He just needs to focus on making great music that he still can.
He definitely needs a new team. Pete ain't cutting it anymore. Look what grade A has done with Juices legacy! Someone fresh that would help motivate him.
