Thank you! VERY useful, minimal fluff (no random offtopic ramblings), just very straight to the point, informative, and insightful! I came to see how the gopro app works on the iPad and see how intuitive it is/isn't, and I got exactly what I wanted.
Very helpful, direct and as mentioned minimal fluff. I am just starting to incorporate drone, 360 video and about to move from iMovie to FCP so this helped me start.
dude u just saved my couple of bucks last week bought fusion in second hand just to play around with it now got bored with it and u showed these things thank you for this video ✌
I absolutely love the GoPro Max and editing on my phone with the GoPro mobile app. Awesome tutorial! only thing missing was explaining to the viewers the difference between ease in, ease out, linear, ease both, and jump cuts. These are very handy, but need to be used correctly. Ease both is good for long gaps between keyframes but you should use linear when you have keyframes close together. Finally, a mention about Horizon leveling and world lock would probably be helpful for some. Don't get me wrong, the video is great and you did a wonderful job presenting your workflow, but maybe you could add some of the other features to another, more detailed, video.
Great point. I considered getting more in depth but figured the video would be too long. I have been thinking maybe doing a more beginner series to help people. Multipart. One long video I break up into maybe 4 or so parts. Covering hero mode. Invisible sticks and so forth.
First...yayyyy. I’ll watch it now & get back Sean.....back now. Hi Sean, great to catch you last week, hope all’s well. Thanks for the video, I’ve been thinking about 3D video for some time and was thinking about which camera to get (liked the 360X invisible selfie stick) . I wondered how it was all edited and this has given me an idea of how to go about it IF I get one. Thanks again, take care and stay safe. Peter.

(i read Tom S. comment and your response below..inconclusive) 2.) What editing is available on Mac that is not on App, Freeze frame? others? Did you make a follow up video on this? Thanks. Need info re which Tablet and phone to get to get full editing capabilities. Cheers

Hi .... Very good videos and didactics. I have problems installing the gopro player application, it asks me to update the NET Framework in some version, do you have any idea what the problem would be? Thanks a lot
I never thought of that but makes sense. I tend to blend in too much. I've been on the search for a black jacket with one sleeve 3/4 bright blue with no luck. Lol
The more I see of the GoPro Max, the more I'm interested in getting one. I think I'm starting to understand the editing process, but I do have a question. When you finished you edit and saved your file, what video format can you save it out as?
I export it as an mp4. I'll have to check to see if you can select .mov Hero mode the files come out as an mp4 like a regular action camera so you get the best of both worlds.
@@SeanOzz Thats the issue im facing with an old iphone and an old mac. How do I place my video in RUclips and let the viewer decide where to look? Do you have a video on that method?
U can but I don’t recall if that export option is on the desktop or the app. Been awhile since I have.
Hi, can I upload to RUclips as a 360 vid so users can watch and turn view around as they see fit? How?
Yes. Export it as 360
Can’t remember off top of my head where that setting is though.
I am late to the game and getting frustrated. How do I save 360 videos from the Quik app to my device (iPad) in 360?
After reframing you then export to device.
I have your friend's orange striped jacket and in the pants, too :)
Awesome. It's always easy to spot him.

Nope. It's a standard format after exporting. Hero mode is always that standard file.
What selfie stick are you using to get that invisible selfie stick look? I heard the el grande was a little too thick.
i am using one not made anymore. a carbon fiber one by insta 360. their standard works too but is heavier than the carbon fiber.
Do you upload longer runs? Does the rendering on longer videos take hours on end for you?
