2 brilliant videos to watch over a few times each. All car manufacturers should produce the same videos to watch in conjunction with reading the owners manuals. Thank you, Steve (UK 458 owner).
Driving the car on streets and racetracks is a magic, however, to put all the toggle switches of turns, lights, windshield wiper-washer, a horn on the steering wheel was the most dangerous and terrible idea. You can not switch - activate those toggles in a split second using the subconscious mind. Sure, the brainless engineers wanted to emulate the Formula 1 steering wheel which never had what they put on the street car and Formula 1 never ever was driven on streets. And the turning signals are invisible from the position I'm driving the car and they are soundless, never know if they are ON or OFF. Not talking about 19th century outdated Nav which is impossible to update. Sure, Ferrari is a driver's car, BUT, I told my 3 sons, if you do something, try to do it 100%. And my car is over $300K and was given to me as a gift from my middle son, I expected the Italian engineers been self-respecting and not implement something that is not usable or working 100%. A 3 -6 times less expensive Corvette is extremely well designed with all the 21st cent. features and is faster than the Ferrari, but has no Look. I wish the Corvette get Ferrari pregnant and I would get their son or daughter as my next birthday gift. I'm sure, it will be the most loved grandchild.
