This guy is trash. All he does is complain and complain in every video. His face is seriously irritating. Like, I imagine her got punched I the face alot as a kid.. and as and adult
After watching this video, I'm pleased to say that your name is right up there with Chris Harris and Henry Catchpole. Excellent review with a great story to back it up. Not just meaningless rubber squealing. And hats off to the film crew as well. Beautifully shot and edited!
I can't belive how utterly good this channel is. Since I saw the "Porsche at le mans" video a couple of months back I can't stop watching the videos. Thank you!
As a Director in the Ferrari Club of America I get to see a lot of interesting things Ferrari. I greatly appreciate the wonderment of this video not just for the knowledge handed forward, not just for the narrators view point, but rather what I experience when I'm behind the wheel of my Red 1992 348 TS! It just happened this afternoon! Also of note is that I just celebrated my 65 Birthday and a SURPRIZE PRESENT from Ken was letting me DRIVE his 2014 458 Italia Spyder of the same color seen here! It was a HELL of a RIDE and present! David Curro
Minato Abe Really? A simple search of my name shows several videos of our car. You might also look at my Facebook Page for further proof. I ‘ m not sure why you would have such an opinion. Sad
This was so good in every way. I love how you did the history of the mid engined layout and the v8 powered Ferrari. Looking forward to seeing more from this channel Y
The 488 GTB and the new F8 are absolute overkill. The 458 is the perfect sweet spot - such a well-balanced, timeless car. (Watch Chris Harris' review on the 488 Pista - in my honest opinion, a car like that simply isn't rewarding to drive in the same way a 9k rpm, NA V8 would be)
What a wonderful piece of automotive journalism - that’s the kind of article you’d expect to find in print in something like Car magazine - it’s pretty rare to find this type of piece made into a video and I’m very grateful - really good and it’s not often I learn something new - I didn’t know the details about Dino and the homage his Father paid him, really quite moving - thank you. Tim
I really love that you talk about the manufactures history as well covering the technical bits and pieces about the actual car and its handling! Thumbs up!!
Watching this guy reviewing a car is such a pleasure, nice videography, nice car background story and show how much this guys passion for cars, really love it
I don't understand how there are any dislikes on this video. Seriously, who put those there? lol. Anyway, fantastic review. Keep up the great work XCAR
The history between Ferrari in this episode and last months episode has me smiling. And even to non Ferrari fans this car is beautiful! The lines and shape are just sexy!
Wow, Ferrari just went up alot of points in my book. I had no idea he was such a good father and was looking out for us average chaps without a million bucks laying around. This really blew my mind, I think I'm going to start hunting for a Dino :).
Congratulations on such a refreshingly knowledgable, intelligent and informative video! Sadly quality of this nature is as rare as embossed Cavallino droppings. Well done!
This video gave me the goosebumps, it took me back to one of the best endings of a TopGear season final "End of an era" the review about the Aston Martin Ventage V12. Well im sure that this video was greatly inspired by that episode too. But the vibe on both is kinda sad.
Awesome video!! And I agree totally with Dino's importance in Ferrari's history.. Butt.. Since the 458 is only available with a DCT gearbox.. The only real old-school supercar left is actually an Audi R8.. A mid engined, naturally aspirated engine with the option of a manual gearbox..
The germans don't do 'real' supercars. A 4WD Audi doesn't credit any comparisons to the great prancing horse. The guy above me is bang on - a Balboni would be most petrol-heads dream ride. RWD, N/A V10 & a gated 6 speed. Germans ruin everything with their clinical approach, Lamborghini isn't what it was 10 years ago since the sausage eaters got hold of it...
IIXRATEDIIHiTMAN I agree that I would prefer the R8 to be RWD.. But there is no running from the fact that the R8 is the only manual supercar left.. :)
tjay84 The Noble M600 comes straight to mind. Essentially a Ferrari F40 in 2014. It's not the biggest name in the business but the cars had universal critical acclaim since it came around. RWD, 600BHP, NO ELECTRIC ASSISTS AND A PROPER MANUAL... People should be supporting these guys who still make proper drivers cars instead of jumping on the german bandwagon.
IIXRATEDIIHiTMAN Finally someone mention the elusive Noble M600! Yes I fully agreed with you that the M600 is the 21st Century Ferrari F40 No Nonsense No Traction Controls A Proper 6-Speed Rifle-Click Manual Gearbox Mid-Engine RWD 600bhp Twin Turbo Simplistic Interior Try driving it half awake and it will send you straight into the wall.
great review! who is this guy hes great at this! its interesting, i wonder if he watched top gear growing up, i can sense a lot of richard hammond and captain slow when he's talking.
I think the LaFerrari was specifically developed so they have a platform to test their F1 engine on the track. It's a clever way to sidestep testing rules in F1.
Hi guys, sorry think this has been asked before but can't see any reply in the comments... what is the opening piece of music? It's haunting and brilliant, and I'd like to find it. Great video, lovely photography and it's nice to hear the story. Cheers
great story, wish more companies had passion like this, seems like ferrari is like the only one, and since its the only one with a unique product of design , the price goes up
i can listen to the well spoken lad telling automotive stories like this all day
I agree
Absolutely

Take a Bow XCar. IMO, One of the best reviews in the entire series.

Minato Abe surprising that your time is so precious to you yet you make untruthful statements. I feel sorry for you.
Minato Abe LOL.
Now David, THAT'S a birthday present!
That beats the hell out of a piece of cake and a nice tie! ;^)

YOU ARE A GOOD NARRATOR,YR VOICE IS CALM AND RELAXING AND YOU ATTRACT THE ATTENTION OF YOUR AUDIENCE.I HAVE ENJOYED ALL OF YR VIDEOS !
Great clip! Did not know that about where the V8 models come from. Very cool.
I love the background information you always start your videos with!
this guy on this film isn't a bad host. Decent voice sounds like he knows what hes talking about. good to see.

Butt.. Since the 458 is only available with a DCT gearbox.. The only real old-school supercar left is actually an Audi R8.. A mid engined, naturally aspirated engine with the option of a manual gearbox..
True.
My dream supercar would be the Gallardo LP550-2 Balboni. 6 speed manual, RWD and a beautiful V10.
The germans don't do 'real' supercars. A 4WD Audi doesn't credit any comparisons to the great prancing horse. The guy above me is bang on - a Balboni would be most petrol-heads dream ride. Great video. Very informative and well done.!
EPIC NARRATING! Great job! Great video! Great car!

I think the LaFerrari was specifically developed so they have a platform to test their F1 engine on the track.

what's the track that starts at 3:50? Is that an original?

Great vid guys. Modem with a wonderful twist of history. Keep it up ;-)

Beautifule video!! Stunning..
this reviewer is really good.
Please any one tell me the name of that intial music , please I am dying searching this
Please please please
😢😢😢😢
Is it mean that the son's name was used for the peasant brand; whilst daddy's name was used for the best products??
Dino is the child of Ferrari in both senses, so not so much
I was thinking the Same thing but not on those exact word.
I wouldn't look at it as a lesser thing but as a change in a new direction that spawned a whole new breed of car and as a result ,"bad ass'ness"! .*)
***** yep
Ferrari came into his life before his son
anyone know how much cabin space there is? and if it's enough for a 6,3 guy?
Yes, 6,3 is fine in this car. it becomes a problem at 6,4/5 and above.
Ahh, so true, such an incredible car!
For me this is the top. The best supercar. The F40 of our time.
someone please clear this for me but does that 458 have the wheels of an ff? cuz they look really good
+Umair Ali I think you request the ff wheels but you don't see them too often, I see the speciale wheels on the italia and spider often
Love these videos!
This is art
great work mate
