I remember seeing Hiram with David Sanborn and he loved to roam the crowd. Going all the way past the seating area onto the lawn section of the venue. The crowd was going nuts and upon his return to the stage running, he somersaulted back in with the band never missing a beat. The place erupted so loud you couldn't hear the band for a few seconds. What a showman, love him and miss him dearly. ❤
Wow, that Mark Egan on fretless bass is so funky and rock solid in this cut! His intonation (even on intricate sections) is very impressive. Thanks for uploading
Probably Hiram's fans know already, but for the newbies it is worth having a look on Sting's version of "Little Wing" with the Gil Evans orchestra and Hiram on the guitar. Phantastic! 👏❤
So typical Hiram. Soloing and walking through the audience. He loved to do that. I even remember him leaving the concert room once for a while, but he still was together with the band perfect. 👌 Amazing guitar-player and an underrated genius
Miss ya Hiram. I remember you sitting on my couch in Roppongi playing your ass off on my cheap Strat then handing the guitar to me and saying "come on man ,take it somewhere else"!!! I'm like "the only place I can take it after what you just played is the pawn shop"!!!!
hey Hiram used to hang at my pad in Roppongi too, to hide out from band members he sai had 'the cling' I live in Meguro cliffatcliffworks.net who are you brother?
Anyone know who is the bearded guy in the beret backstage ? Some heavyweight player I can't remember who it is. Also he's signing autographs at the beginning. And where's the rest of this concert ?
