I'd like to take this comment back. I recently got a mono and it's too hard to turn that knob with your right hand if it's located on the right because you don't have enough elbow room. It's easier to reach over with your left hand and do it.
@@DaanArrow In the UK we use Kumho Ecsta V70a. They’re street legal but super soft which means you can get temperature into them even with a light car like the Mono. They don’t last long but they are super sticky. Other track day tyres seem to struggle with the Mono as it’s so light. Fantastic driving and video👏
Khumo semi slicks, tyres weren’t ‘hot’ but not cold either. Base set up of the car was quite understeery and so I put the brake bias aggressively back to compensate and enjoy the laps! 👊🏼
Good? Im ex superbike rider and looking for a "simular" experience for car.. ive been at Portimao with 430 Scuderia and GT3/992 but thats not for me. It looked great!
Cool man! I’ve driven the Dallara Stradale and the BAC Mono, both amazing cars. On track it’s the weight which makes it amazing. With the Mono the experience of sitting in a single seater is unique, especially keeping in mind you can drive it home 😅 Although I don’t think it will beat a bike, it’s worth a try! This Mono is actually for sale, if you were interested I can put you into touch.
It’s much track depending. Just consider the following: Silverstone GP the Mono laps faster than a Lamborghini super trofeo Evo which is a race car (both on slicks). RedBull ring it laps (on street legal tires) 7” faster than a LaFerrari and in the midst of Race GT3 (which are on slicks). Sepang was 2” faster than a GT2.
Great combination, the car had a very baseline (understeering set up) therefore I moved the bias back heavily to try and create extra rotation under braking ;)
@@DaanArrowI think sometimes they setup guest cars to understeer for safety. The trouble is that when someone experienced like you tries to push you end up fighting the setup. Setup well these cars are really stable into corners, especially with either Kumho V70s or the bespoke Pirelli Trofeos.
purple carbon looks incredible
"What was that ? What ? I can't hear you. You want me to just keep lapping? OK."
Hahaha, yes it’s a little monster!
Brake Bias knob should be on the left so you can adjust it while you're upshifting down the straight.

I can't stop watching purple carbon fiber . it is magnificent !
It’s crazy in person
bro is struggling with downforce
There is no downforce on these cars, no aero at all they're developed with 100% mechanical grip
@@cooperastro2690”mechanical grip” what a nice sounding couple of words
Actually. Without downforce
It Needs a redesign for more downforce =more grip.. probably a small turbo for more HP also
What tyres were you on Dean, we’re they warmed up? You seem to be struggling for front end grip
Hey! It was in the street Toyo semi slicks, they were up to temp but we were running extreme low camber.

Were you on slicks? Looks like tyres were cold? And do you know what approx. lap times you were achieving?

why does it looked so unstable? bad tires or no tc?
Bad tires, aggressive brake bias to counter natural under steer. No TC
My dream car😊😊
the streering look like not attach to the car, so light
The sound is really important in this vidéo...
Downshifting is very tricky I see 😂. Maybe downshifting with delay can help the rear not blocking?
Didn't you see him adjust the brake bias?
@@dennisdrenthe1058 oh really? No. Didn't knew they have that option.
Hehe, eyes on the details ;)

@@DaanArrow How much did it sell for?
how fast is this in comparison to like a gt3rs?
This specific car was running semi slicks, I don’t have an exact comparison but it would be slower to a GT3 RS

The new bac Mono r is a beast on track
Wow! My favorite track and such a cool and interesting car and all this in one video! But why is this thing so unstable when braking?
Good point. It probably only weights a couple hundred pounds.

that beast make dream at night! :)
Its look like you are driving an f1
подскажите кто знает почему авто без крыши а если перевернет в аварии или на повороте пилот погибнет ведь
это "картинг"
the yellow paint on the steering wheel sucks
Squirmy as compared to the gt3 that just left it standing.
