The wine you bought is probably the "dry" wine. It is quite bitter and not liked by many. You can try buying sweet wine separately, just to try which one you like better. I really liked the video, you two are so sweet❤

In Germany we can buy delicious new wine just after the grape harvest in September until October. It's called Federweißer (white wine) or Federroter (red wine) and we often eat Zwiebelkuchen at festivals while drinking it. It's amazing and the best wine of the year imho. I think, you've managed to make a delicious Federroter 😊🍷

anything that ferments for less time is bound to be quite a bit sweeter! that’s the kind of red you want to drink in the summer. Decoy is quite good, but definitely a winter red. a bit more bitter with a stronger alcohol content to keep your tummy warm ☺️
It’s probably very low alcohol content and sweet. If you want to make a real wine, test to make sure the wild yeast can get it to at least 6%. Then, you’ll need to clarify and rack it before aging for around 3 months before trying it. Concord grape wines are best at 6-24 months because they do have a lot of tannin. Worth doing tho!
