For someone to take the time to make this video like this shoe something? One's true love for his car! Simply beautiful. 😊
That was amazing video! Very nice work!
Absolutely incredible, what a piece of work - well done.
What a grest idea ! I'm definitely keeping this for reference ! There's a lot of unservicable items but the body appears to be very sound . Thankyou
It looks like the FLASH is working on it. Whoever is working on it needs a raise. ❤❤
Killer video, love the T-Rex cameo!
Wow, a self disassembling E-Type! Hopefully it's also self restoring? Great video.
There is no better way to help mechanics than to show stop-action videos of assembly/disassembly of components they may be working on themselves. Excellent work. Wish you were involved with the 60’s Triumphs/MGs etc. (Although the 60’s E-types have many similar assemblies.)
I agree. I will make some videos next time a triumph/mg comes by😉
Mucho trabajo y lo que aún queda. Ánimo!!!
Hoffentlich bekommst du alles wieder zusammen 👍👍👍sehr, sehr, schönes Auto ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you very much.
Great video. Interesting to see a triple carburetor setup on a series 1 E-type. I've only seen them with twin SU's. One wonders how such an iconic car could be left to deteriorate like this. 😢
Thank you sir. Car was stored in a container for years in america. Unfortunately one side of the container was leaking. In the process of rebuilding. More videos to come
All e types had triple carbs.
Loved this video and the dinosaur that appeared during it!!
Thank you very much
A lot of work, I admire your mission. Hope it works out.
Thanka Mark. Appreciate
Great project, great stopmotion video. Especially zoom and rotation parts were really cool, i find them problematic to do properly... do you use some visual focus point aid? Liked and subcribed..
Hi @GT1900garage. Thank you very much. I still need to upload the hd version😆completed last night. All I use is my nikon d3000 and hitfilm express. No other aids. I wish I could take more shots to smooth and slow animation. Most of the shots have too few photos, as I focus more on the actual work than photos
Excellent. When rebuilt, use some modern wiring! Can u say weatherpak? Mini fuses?
Also, 5spd overdrive upgrade.
All of the above sir. Also, uprated brakes, suspension and cooling
Great video!
As if disassembling one of these isn't challenging enough!
Indeed. Hope it will help make assembly easier
What an amazing video. It must have taken so much time to put this together. Thank you for sharing 🙏
THANK YOU ROB. Yes. Editing the photos takes tons of after hour time. This is just a quick assembly of the lot. I am busy editing the video properly and will upload HD soon. Just wanted my client to see some of the work in the mean time. I am starting with the restoration work as we speak
Its only the start of a long arduous process, Not much rust visible Great if it stays that way
Did you not see the top of the sills , proper rotten
This is a great video , thank you. I've seen your reply on time taken and expected duration of future work. Are you working on your own ?. I have done similar stuff ( but not to the same extent ) on 1275 Midgets. From you video , the E-type's components look easier than the Midget's to remove. I've just started looking for an E-type roadster in a similar condition to yours. Best of British luck to you .
Hi again. I do work on my own. So it does take a bit longer. Cleaning takes up the most of my time. All good fun though.
Nice video with sound off 😂
Wow! How long did that take to shoot?
Thank you @Petermeitzler9981. First photo is dated 7 June and last in this segment is 17 august. So two months to strip everything. Total hours spent is approximately 200hours (excluding foto/video editing). I do this in my own time. This project is likely to reach anywhere from 2500-3000 hours in total.
Fascinating! I applaud your attention to detail and allowing the viewer to imagine the same process, which I hope to be able to try one day. Never seen anything like it! @@Linkclassiccars
Very early car
how hectic. I'm getting eye cancer
