      Basic logic, which is more essential, and which cost more to buy/replace. Fire extinguisher is more essential and costly to reload than is to buy dry ice.

      Don't need to limit your house to just 1 fire extinguisher buy them in bulk to save money lol then you can put out fires and play with dry ice

      @@MichaelNolhan if you buy the fire extinguisher from the factory its a lot cheaper. Typically ranging from 15-30 USD. Plus you get a lot more out of one extinguisher than buying it straight up

    Also people it doesn't have to be a fire extinguisher these are typically the easiest way to obtain compressed co2. You can also find co2 tanks in many different places and items that can work from paintball co2 cans to even the bigger tanks you see in places like hospitals or bars and stuff to help pump the beer out the taps.

      I'm not sure that's true. I purchase dry ice 4 x's a month costing close to $100 or more. A fire extinguisher costs $21 I guess it depends on how long a fire extinguisher lasts & how much carbon dioxide is needed to make dry ice. .

      It will slowly “burn” off. Depends on the amount you’re storing. It’s not indefinite, but it should last a good while

    as you will be doing this at the expense of fire protection, you should have fire crew on standby outside your house in case you need to put out a fire during this procedure

      He made 'dry ice' from liquid co2 by spraying low temperature co2 gas into a towel. . I made ice cubes by freezing water in an ice tray. I got liquid milk by pouring liquid milk from a container or stroking cow tits after first rubbing her udder to bring the milk down..

    sadly fire extinguishers are relatively expensive so this isn't a good option unless you are desperate, when you can usually buy dry ice for a euro or two per kilo

      and then also an economic analysis of people in need of dry ice, but live in cities where "Ready Ice" or other dry ice companies dont offer it, so the only options are purchasing 40 pounds from amazon and having a quarter of it vaporize before it gets to you or making it this way...................................................

      CO2 is liquid carbon dioxide. Liquid carbon dioxide is the liquid state of carbon dioxide. Dry ice is frozen CO2. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide that passes from a solid to a gas without going through the liquid phase. So yes, this is the same as seen in drinks with dry ice.

      There wasn’t dry ice in the fire extinguisher, it was carbon dioxide. He used the fire extinguisher to get the CO2 out and used a pillow case to compress it. Compressed CO2 = dry ice

      You can get fire extinguishers rather cheap if you buy it from the factory.(usually 15-30 USD) Plus you get a lot more out of one extinguisher than just a handful. He used maybe 1/10 of his extinguisher to make that amount of dry ice.
