i actually reeeeeally like Paradoxe Intense more than the original. the addition of the moss note adds a gorgeous kind of smoky, woody, ambery musk scent that's absolutely stunning. serves campfire vibes. the DNA of Prada Paradoxe is there in the opening but the dry down is definitely different and that's where Paradoxe Intense shines through imo.
Wow. I love perfumes with a hefty projection and great performance. And I mean truly lasting perfumes; I want to smell my perfume the next day. And this one I really smell even days after on my coat!! And the scent trail is divine... I cant stand weak perfumes, not even when the smell is great. It such a turn off. But Paradoxe intense omg. 79eur, which is ridiculously high, I paid. I just had to... because I kept smelling it the next 2, even 3 days!! I sprayed it on Monday this week and this Thursay morning I still smelled it!! An example of a loooong lasting perfume launched this year, is Juliette has a gun "Lust for Sun". It has ambroxen... and the performance..top notch...just wow. Thanks for the review it was interesting to know about the ambrofix or whatever it was called 😂😂
Yes Lust for Sun lasted on me but unfortunately it didn’t work out for me 😞 I only purchased the travel so at least I got to try it out and I mix it with another coconut perfume. My skin just pulls the florals too much on that one. Now Prada Paradoxe was one of my top purchases of 2022! Love it so much and I already got a few friends and family hooked on it 😝
I liked them both when tested in the shop, but couldn't decide which one to get. I am definitely going for the Intense version. Thanks for reviewing :)
Girl you’re no better 😂 I saw your video where you talk about Sugarful Kiss (and 2 other frags) and even tho I don’t like those bottles you always make me want them so bad! 😩 especially since I have the Black Cherry Fizz oil.
I haven’t given a solid try for both of these. On initial spray they seemed too fruity for me but I love the bottle and the juice so much, I really need to get at least one! 😂 Thanks for the review!
@@rebecacollazo this is the second time someone has told me about some pretty earrings from Target and I can never find them lol I need to get to Target sooner for jewelry
Thank you! I personally haven’t layered with it yet (just my unscented lotion) but BBW sensual Amber would probably layer nicely, especially with the intense 👌🏼
Love your earings!! Also random question, any suggestions for a good soap to wash off those beast mode fragrances that like to stick around even after a shower?
Thank you! I got them at Target 😉 Hmm 🤔 I’ve struggled with some scrubbers before and remember using dish soap, hand soap and then my regular soap 😝 I know plain old Ivory soap is pretty good too. I usually have to go in a couple times with my powerhouse fragrances. I also get my skin less and just do my clothes.
Excited to get my nose on this one! Have you had a chance to sniff Divine by Gaultier yet and do you intend on purchasing it? I'm not sure if it has been released in the US, but I've seen several Americans review it, so it must be available online somewhere.
I haven’t tried it yet. JPG fragrances take some time to get here to the states 😩 but I do want to try it because Quentin Bisch is the perfumer behind it and love his fragrances 🫶🏼
That’s a tough one cause I find both of these fragrances to be versatile, year-round kind of fragrances. But I have noticed that I get more compliments on the original from both men and women so If you want something that you’ll both enjoy on a date night, I think the original is a safer bet 😉
Funny how I hated my way and Libre at first - my way is growing on me because I discovered I love bubble gum smells, but it takes a while to get there - I couldn’t get past the white floral bomb at the beginning or even stomach it. Couple weeks ago I tried Nectar and actually thought it was good- not mind blowing (like Poison was in 1990 the first time I smelled it), but nothing rarely is at the level of WOW to me. I know a lot of perfumes need to dry down before they’re good, which is ironic being if I sniff something that’s too sharp, syrupy sweet (black current), or a flower patchouli bomb (Luminous) I won’t bother trying it. I tried Libre and it made my husband’s throat itch. That said, I smelled one called Italian Escape from The good scent, which has gardenia and tuberose (it’s not lemony to me, pure floral) and I didn’t immediately hate it. Don’t laugh but after reading reviews I blind bought Kim K’s perfume launched in 2009 and it was an immediate love - my husband who HATES everything to do with perfume (makes him sneeze for hours if I spray something upstairs into the cap) said “that actually smells good!” And I blind bought My Way Parfum (crazy I know) but it’s sweeter than I expected with a nice dry down- bubble gum isn’t as sweet as intense (which I love that specific aspect of it), but I think I’ll keep it - I really want to experiment with layering things to try and dupe ones like Paradox, since it’s already a mixture of other ones (I know the dry down is it’s own scent). Do you have opinions on the My Way flankers? I need to search your videos.
I go back and forth and happy I have both but if I had to give up one, it would probably be the Intense and stick with the OG. I have them in the 50ml bottle ❤️
My nose doesn’t detect tuberose in the Intense but then again I only get a slight bubble gum tuberose-like scent in the opening of the OG but that’s it.
@@AmnistY21 They don’t list tuberose online which is why I say I get a slight “Tuberose-like scent” because even though it’s not listed there is something coming off a little like Tuberose (to my nose) but not heavy. I know others have picked up on this as well. Hope this helps!
@@rebecacollazo Thanks..I can't really detect that bubble gummy tuberose scent in the OG so I'm a bit confused. I do smell the neroli and jasmine though.
I wanna wear the intense all the time,it's so lovely it's just love in a bottle ❤❤
I love this perfume is my favourite

So appreciated, I really like your peachy pink makeup motif, very classy-beautiful. Thank you for the video.

Hey Becky 🙋🏾♀️, Happy Sunday
Yes I have been waiting for your thoughts on this one
Happy Sunday beautiful! ❤️
To me, the paradox intense is more sweeter like floral, sweet vanilla and syrupy
Great review!!

Here you go. I did not want the flanker until now. 🙄

Oh give the Intense a second go! It’s less fruity in the opening and once it dries down I don’t detect much fruit at all. The bottles are so pretty 🤩
This look is soo soft and pretty. Love the earrings. I need a pair. I need to get at least one of these.
Thank you!! 💖 Earrings are from Target but they’re pretty old 🥹

Does it last longer than the original?
Which one would you recommend for winter and date nights?
Can you please recommend?

Great review, both smell good, like the intense better. Tfs❤❤
Thanks for watching! ❤️
Is the intense fresh and clean like the original? And is it appropriate for work?
I find the Intense to be more fresh and clean but also earthy. Yes, I find it to be work appropriate.
Great review on both..
Thank you!!
@@rebecacollazo your welcome!

I find the original to be a touch sweeter.

I absolutely love the original, so let's hear the difference

Paradoxe Intense is my favorite of the two. the moss note adds soooo much to the dry down. sorta smoky, woody, ambery musk. it's absolutely gorgeous

Can't wait to smell the flanker because I didn't like the original too much.
Hopefully you can test in store since (to my nose) it still smells like the OG but also has differences if that makes sense.
