I have no idea if it's an efficient use of points, but salvaging towers is so much more enjoable for me. Before when I do blight encounters, it was all about just doing enough to clear it. Now I'm the exact opposite, I'm doing everything I can to make sure it doesn't clear the last couple monsters faster so I can maybe get one last tower upgraded. What I want someone more educated than me to figure out is it better to have a smaller number of T4 towers, or a lot more T3 towers to salvage at the end.
