04 Saleen s281sc owner here, my car is all original and I'll stock.. and your Cobra Saleen sits a lot lower than mine so I'm thinking somebody put lowering springs on it. An my car has the optional 10-in rear wheels in the back also.
They existed before the terminators too all the way back to like 1996 I believe when they started putting the 4.6 4v in the cobras. They were similar in that it had cobra driveline and interior and hood and emblems and the rest was Saleen. I believe roush also made a cobra not sure about the terminator but they did back in the 96-98 days.
Basically Saleen took v6 cars to make s351 since they were being driveline swapped anyways and they used the gt to make most other saleens but they did turn a select few cobras into saleens as well. They just didn't do very many.
So it was driven for 9000 miles in almost 20 years. That's not even 500 a year. I've walked more miles in that time frame. I'm sure that's what Saleen had in mind when they hand built this car. For someone to buy it and than almost never drive it. A real driver's car.
That is the fate of most of them unfortunately. People so worried about future value they won't drive their cars. Same thing happens to many terminators and gt500s too they just get wasted away imo. My 07 gt500 has a gen3r 750+ rwhp and its about to pass 125k I bought it may 2020 with 108k for 16500 I basically stole it. I wanted one with a few miles to save money because I planned on driving it even though it isn't my daily I drive it any time I can on weekends when it's nice. I love to see these cars with 100k shows they were enjoyed. Too many of them wasted. They're stout cars they'll go couple hundred thousand easily and then some if you take care of it even if it's modified. Shelby hated when people didn't drive the card and I'm sure Saleen does too.
My friend got one of these brand new when they first came out he then immediately pulled the motor made it a 5.3 striker and twin turbo it what I find weird about the car in your video is that it didn’t have the Saleen brake upgrade that my fiends does

Anything less I absolutely can’t let it go.
@@Adam_S281 Interesting. I’ll check the photos on BAT and the video again for the overlay. Wonder if that’s effecting the value despite the mileage of it being modded even though it was put back to stock. Personally I don’t see it as a big sticking point but someone spending upwards of 100K might

118k for the Saleen
80k for the mystic

04 Saleen s281sc owner here, my car is all original and I'll stock.. and your Cobra Saleen sits a lot lower than mine so I'm thinking somebody put lowering springs on it. An my car has the optional 10-in rear wheels in the back also.
That’s one of the cleanest, sexiest cobras I’ve ever seen!
Wonder if it's 1 out of 29 ?
Best new edge body kit, with the best new edge platform and power train.
Wow so intersting. If i saw this on the road, I would assume it was a fake, because I never knew a saleen cobra existed.
Lol you wouldn’t be the only one, not many people know about these cars.
What an awesome and rare car!
Always love this show
beautiful cars in amazing condition.
Thanks brother 🙏🏻
Stunning
How much
My friend got one of these brand new when they first came out he then immediately pulled the motor made it a 5.3 striker and twin turbo it what I find weird about the car in your video is that it didn’t have the Saleen brake upgrade that my fiends does
Where do I buy

Iconic sound for sure!
I think i ran across this car for sale recently when i was looking for a new edge. They wanted 103k for this car if its the same one,
Hp n torque?
390 hp & 390 tq ~ underrated tho, it was more like 420hp to 430hp from the factory.
Cuál será el precio de ese coche?

Love the random ad
Aren't those Roush wheels??
My car from the manufacturer is only 1 of 1. While being built on the factory’s assembly line attaching the exhaust system the assembly line worker sneezed leaving nose debris pinned between the transmission and the driveshaft.
I’m Seriously considering selling this rare 1 of 1 vehicle yet it may be difficult to let it go it’s so rare. I may entertain serious offers starting at $1.5mil. Anything less I absolutely can’t let it go.
The advertising at the end lmao🤦🏽♂️
Y do some people call it Saylen lol and the cars are nice especially the Mystichrome pero lo precios tan por el techo bro
Who the F gets in such a rare car with a drink in a Solo cup??🤬😡
That Saleen is sweet.!!!
Special car for sure. Should’ve let it go on bat! The car has been previously modded and the front bumper needs a repaint.
Do you know what mods where done on it?
@@Lethal_Venom I believe I remember reading it had a ported eaton on at one point. If you look closely you can see it also has a boost gauge overlay
@@Adam_S281 Interesting. I’ll check the photos on BAT and the video again for the overlay. Wonder if that’s effecting the value despite the mileage of it being modded even though it was put back to stock. Personally I don’t see it as a big sticking point but someone spending upwards of 100K might
Love 'em!!!
1998 S351 Saleen was best, in yellow!
WE HAVE SHELBY AMERICAN AND SALEEN MOTORSPORTS, MY QUESTION IS, WILL SALEEN AND SHELBY BE ON FORD'S APPROVED VENDORS LIST?...I AM JUST SAYING!...2024 WILL BE VERY INTERESTING YEAR FOR THE S650 MUSTANG PLATFORM!...GOD BLESS AMERICA! 😇
As always, great video man!
The Saleens are awesome!
Don’t care for red much, but a black one would be 👍🏼👍🏼.
It would be awesome if they had a S281 Mystichrome one to have next to the regular Mystichrome 😊. That would be a cool duo!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks brother, yeah a MC Saleen Terminator would be Killer, as always I appreciate your support 🙏🏻
The inside looks like a regular mustang that’s tuff
i really dont understand why people cant say the guys name right. Its SA-leen, not SAY-leen. come on man.
Beautiful
Beautiful cars
is it me or does the saleen not have the factory cobra shift knob? does it have a saleen one?
A guy in my city had one of these drove it everywhere. I thought it was non rare car I saw it so much. It ended up crashed on Craigslist for 10k shame I never knew what it really was
My favorite is the S302 extreme saleen
It's just a Mustang new edge Cobra with a added bodykit and a tune. The GT and Cobra are just fine nothing more nothing less.
You’re comparing this to a GT? This isn’t just a cheap kit it’s from the factory. In the long run you’re getting a rare and unique car that’ll hold it’s value. You’ll see cobra’s but you hardly see any saleens
My 04 made 966 to the tires with the factory rotating assembly. "just fine" lol. Not every New Edge Cobra came with forged internals.
9:44: Hold my Beer…
They want $118,900 Americans mudafckn dollars for it 😮
Cool car still
Will never happen!
Don’t forget your red solo cup full of booze…. What the actual
Wasn't this car on 2 fast 2 furious?
No
@@SilentMovements305 yes
@@SilentMovements305 it was definitely in the 2nd one with the guy getting ran over by the semi truck
My Friend have that car we only 4,000 miles maybe less, and is a convertible .
That’s funny that is the saleen being sold on eBay right now, you should get a kick back for promoting it Lol
That low mileage isn't a good thing engine wise. Years of not being lubricated leads to rust. Only good for the paint on outside.
You sound a lil slow
Yes l like this alot
