After her boyfriend of five years, Jacob (Edmund Donovan), unceremoniously dumps her while recovering from cancer, actress Laura Franco (Melissa Barrera) is heartbroken. Forced to move into her absent mother’s house, Laura soon discovers the Monster (Tommy Dewey) that tormented her in childhood has taken over the empty apartment. At first, Monster and Laura quickly butt heads. But when Jacob begins to cast the play he and Laura wrote together, and she’s not invited to audition, Laura and Monster put together a plan to get revenge in this romcom musical.
