"We are in control of nothing and Allah is in control of everything" JazakAllah Khairan! 🌹❤️🌷

@@lindatyler3372 jazak means Reward. I apologize, Khair means" goodness"
Full meaning is May Allah swt reward you (with) goodness".

I met Dr. Yusef Salaam and interviewed him. He’s phenomenal Mashallah! May Allah Bless and protect them both.
I love how this man’s name means Allah will raise the teacher with justice. I love how Allah molded this man in the shape of his name his mother gave him.
Dr Yusuf Salaam .. one of the people I would love to meet before I die.

May Allah fulfill your wish

My oldest Son had the honor of being on a program with Dr. Yusef once. And I don’t know if they stay in touch or not but my Son have had the honor and pleasure of being with several very important figures in our lifetime. And I pray that Dr. Yusef continues with his good works as I do for all those who are striving to make a difference. Amin!!
" we are in control of nothing and Allah is in control of everything ". what a beautiful reminder.
He’s mother sounds like an amazing woman. May Allah grant her highest position in Jannah.
I love the eloquence of his words and how beautiful he form them.may Allah swt bless him and all the Muslim umma.
Allahumma Ameen
I do not really know English, but when I listened and saw this man, my heart sank. I think he is a good man and God fearing. The way he speaks makes your heart a reminder of the Hereafter. it shows a new humility and faith.
Just want to tell you that "my heart sank" is an expression that means that you became disappointed or sad (which is not what you mean!).
"Forgiveness is for you!" Just beautiful 🥰 and so true.
Such a wise man. As any New Yorker, I followed this case. He's such an inspiration.
I remember watching this brother on 60 min years ago when he and the other 4 brothers were put on trial and eventually convicted for rape which was a crock of bullcrap. I remember when even at that time as a teen, he was giving dawah then and this was when we were teenagers at the time back in the early 90s and I didn't take my Shahada until 1995. I'm so glad to see this brother and the 4 others get exonerated. I'm also glad to see him dedicating his life to the mustaqeem. May Allah SWT continue to bless and reward Brother Yusuf in the cause in Al-Islam.
I don't think he was a muslim until a couple of years after he was convicted where he met other muslims in the prison.
@@Prince-fi4ur Correction ahki. He was raised Muslim. Yusef Salaam was always his name. But masha'Allah, he chose to stay on the sirat'ul mustaqeem when he was incarcerated.
@@charlesshabazz5006 you are correct we was always muslim
MasyaAllah the way he speaks, so beautiful😭😭
I felt warmhearted and humbled my eyes became teary... MashaAllah,..
I remember growing up in NYC when this took place…everyone thought they were guilty…but ALLAH(swt) had a better plan for them…🙏🙏

I love my Ummah however there isn’t only a problem in the black community there is one within the Ummah. As an African American Muslima I get shunned by Eastern born Muslims. It breaks my heart that this is a fact nonetheless it’s true. It’s spoken of in the Black Muslim Community & IDK if its spoken of elsewhere. It really needs to be addressed Malik Shabazz addressed it May Allah (swt) be pleased with him. It’s so heartbreaking we have enough to contend with as Muslims in America & having to combat this Dunya full of Jinns. We should not feel unwanted or unloved by one’s brothers & sisters. I will never ever stop givin* Salaams to any Muslim I see & May Allah forgive anyone who behaves in this despicable manner Inshallah
Assalam Aleykum my sister in Islam. I am amazed when you said “I will never stop giving salam to any Muslim I see” MashAllah keep it up and always tell yourself my reward is from Allah.Even if those people don’t respond back to your salam, angels will do at their place . We don’t talk about it a lot but when we are born muslim we take it for granted and miss a lot of opportunities to better ourselves. The most important thing is Islam is a his religion that doesn’t care about being born muslim or convert to Islam because on Allah Eyes the most honorable of us is the one who has Taqwa (48:13). We really should make a lot effort to behave ourselves and try our best to revive the sunna of our beloved prophet ( sallah lahu Aleyhi wa Salam). May Allah make us steadfast ,grant us patience and soften our hearts to see only beauty on others. Ameen 🤲🏾💕
Salam alaykoom sister , I'm from west Africa and islam has been the religion of most communities for centuries, I'm so happy to see a community of African Americans being Muslim may Allah increase your ranks among us and grant you the best in this world and the next. Unfortunately Muslim or not black people just don't have respect anywhere, religious Muslim folks will at least approach you kindly in the mosque or if you wear hijab but muslims who don't base affinity on common values will judge you on the premise of you being black and all the negative stereotypes imaginable and the irony is that as Muslims globally we are not understood but demeaning us make them feel good. It is a difficult experience and I believe Allah will reward us and deal with them. I traveled in mamy Muslim lands and my experience has been more positive than negative but as Muslims we should not tolerate injustices and blatant discrimination Allah wants us to be an example of decency, good manners and behaviors wherever we are. If ever have the opportunity visit Mali , senegal, guinée or Gambia you'll love it inshAllah .
@@djendiabate6704 ASA waramatullah wa barakatu my gracious Sister. I truly appreciate your response & May Allah (swt) reward you in this life & the next. Inshallah I will get to visit Africa one day. Last year I went to Dubai
Very emotional 😭
