I’m on my second BMW R1200RT and I love it. My brother rides an FJR and we sometimes trade bikes. I can tell you, the FJR is the only bike I’d consider leaving the Beemer for. It’s smoother, has more power and burns regular fuel. I’d miss a few things about the BMW for sure.
Logged 76,000 miles on my 2009 FJR 1300 AE! It was love at first ride. Best sport touring bike ever made! 0 to 100mph in 6.7seconds puts a huge smile on my face and makes me feel 18 again! Great review and ride Safe…
I have owned my 2008 FJR for five years, I agree with the uncomfortable seat after a few hours in the saddle. I added 1 inch bar risers and it made a huge difference to the comfort, I have had zero issues with the bike and I’m not sure what I could ever replace it with.
Thank you for an excellent review. I'm on my second Gen-2 FJR and thinking of going to a Gen-3 for the 6th gear and the cruise control. But then I've ridden thousands of miles on an FJR without either. As you said, it just fits me.
Been riding since the age of 16yrs firstly in the UK, then for the last 40yrs in Western Australia, had some great bikes during that time, but having owned a 2003 & a 2009 FJR1300, both from new, they would have to be at the top of my list for greatness. Incredible all round motorcycles, unfortunately due to reaching the grand old age of 72yrs I had to part with the later model & now riding a 2020 Speed Twin, this does most things well, but will never forget the enjoyment I received when riding my FJRs.
Thanks for sharing Ian. Sounds like you’ve certainly traveled in your life. At least your still in two wheels at 72! That’s certainly a goal of mine too. Stay safe. 👍🏍

Regarding the fuel gauge, just do what us oldies used to do and reset your trip at every fill up. You can buy bifocal adjustable eye protection so you can see the speedo and sat nav if applicable. Agreed on the amount of gears, we're that used to changing gear early, we notice it when we get to higher speeds. If it had 8 gears we'd be looking for the 9th. Very professional review, thanks.

I fell in love with mine after the first roundabout on a test ride. Could not believe who smooth, comfortable and quiet it was! Everything about the FJR is understated. Enjoy and be safe.
Wheelie Good TV funny that, I am having the same problem. Have been looking at the Yamaha MT10sp or even the Honda VFR 1200f as they are fairly inexpensive and seem to be bull it proof.
I've only ever had the Honda CTX700 (manual with fairing). For a single rider commuting to work, crossing 1000 miles, or zipping across town to pickup carry-out dinner it is a MARVELOUS way to move about, and uses only 3.6 L/100km in the city! I'm only out looking about because my darling wife will not (and should not) put up with the miserable shock on the CTX700 that can't handle our 180 kg together.
Nice review and nice video shots. I smiled to my self when you mentioned the hard to read speedo, my BMWf800R is so bad that I've put little white markers on the clock at 30mph and 70mph, but then I am approaching 70 (that would be years old not mph!)
Thanks for the great review! I currently enjoy riding my Versys 650 very much. I have the panniers and rear top box and when fully kitted that way it feels like a smaller version of the FJR. However, as much fun as it truly is, I had the chance to ride an FJR a few months back and as you say.... the engine! Wow, what an engine!! This will likely be my next bike. Well done!
Great review my friend. I bought a 2009 FJR new and had that bike for 4 years. Sold it, and been through many bikes since (Harleys, Suzuki, Honda) and honestly, I just want my 2009 back. The best of all worlds for me and suited my riding style better than any other bike I have owned before or since.

I've owned two fjr1300's ('05 and '06). Fabulous machines to say the least. When I got my first i discovered that when fueling the bike MUST be in the upright position preferably on the center stand... NOT leaning on the sidestand. This will insure a proper CONSISTANT fill up every time. The difference amounts to almost three quarters of a gallon. Be safe, enjoy your ride and keep the shiny side up. 😁👍

Andrew Edmond you won’t regret getting one of these. I still look at it in awe and dream about riding it when I’m not riding it. I am totally in love. Thanks for the sub!🙏
I was looking for a VFR and then this FJR popped up and the price was good and it only had 17,000 miles on it so I bought it. This is the last bike I will ever own. It's perfect
5'10" fits me like a glove. Yes, it's tall (as most sports tourers are) but I've yet to drop it. Been riding for forty years though. You do get comfortable with it. Amazing machine.
Skippi Names dropped mine twice now. I’ll be honest, it’s dented my confidence a little. But hey the old saying “if you fall off your bike get straight back on it!”
This is the best review of the mighty FJR on RUclips. Very polished, informative and entertaining. Just to say Yamaha added the 6th gear in 2016 alongside a host of other features that really updated the bike. Thanks and take care. Subbed!
Ridden my 2008 FJR to the southern most point of spain, done 550 miles in a day, toured Wales, Scotland to john o groats and the only thing I can fault the FJR is that you need to upgrade the seat to a comfort one although my misses is happy with the pillion comfort.
Ive got a couple of FJR 1300 ( 2005 & 2008 ) Ive spent up to 17 hours in the saddle . My tip is to stand on the pegs get your bum of the seat every 1/2 hour for say 1 minute .It is the position of your knees and hip that causes it . If you want better seat , try that first , then if that doesn't work get a sheepskin for it and you can add an air hawk if you like . Fatigue is a problem within long distance . Here are some more tips , move head around every 15-30 minutes not just your eyes , flex you feet , toes and hands every 15-30 minutes . roll your shoulders occasionally . You may also like to try a good kidney belt for long distance rides .
Great video, I get the impression you might be a filmmaker? High production values, great shots, great dialogue, excellently done! I've wanted an FJR for a few years now but the expense just is not in the cards...
Thanks Andrew and I appreciate the compliments. I am indeed a TV Cameraman for the last 35 years. Best bike I ever had but I had to part with it too soon as it was just too heavy for me and not suitable for the roads where I live. If I ever move out of the pot holed countryside in Ireland, I’ll definitely get another!😜🏍
I did multiple changes so my 2016 ES to make it " Fit me like a glove!" First was handle bar risers, next I lowered the seat to the maximum by removing the plastic seat frame, gaining an extra 3/4". I'm 6'-1" tall. Next I trimmed the foam on the front seat, added a heat pad front and back seats and re-uplostered both seats with marine vinyl upholstery. Changed the straight pegs to mini floorboards ( now I don't ever have a pressure point on my insole) . Those were the main changes to be comfortable while riding long distance. Added front and rear crash guards, dash cameras front and rear facing ( so I can have evidence of the asshole that killed me!) Instated delkevic 14" slash cut cans a few days ago. Now it's heard and sounds fantastic. I've also added a powered phone holder, Tom Tom rider gps, drink holder, trunk bracket on the top box and multiple ram mounts. The taller wind screen. All of these additions were either for comfort or convenience. It takes a while to get your machine to where is completely functional for long distance riding. I also have an air hawk seat cushion. No matter how comfortable your seat feels, after three or four hours riding, your ass starts to ache. Air hawk solves that problem. I still have items to complete! Signal cancel, brake light flasher and fog lights. Now I'm happy with it! 😃👍💓
Two things I have been thinking about doing and you have sold me on both, I have been looking at getting the fjr for a few weeks now and I have watched a few reviews and yours has made me want to get one even more now, the other thing I have wanted to do is visit Ireland and seeing how beautiful it is there has made me want to get the fjr and tour Ireland, I watched one review and nearly every other word was it is a heavy bike or it is top heavy but even though you mentioned the weight you said it was not noticeable, It was a very good review you made and I am now going to make the phone call to the seller
Hi Peck666. Please watch my six month review and then the reason I had to sell her. Turns out she was heavy as everyone else told me. All individuals of course!
Kudos on a fine production on a superb motorcycle!!! Your audio, video, aerial, and narration was an excellent presentation... I felt like I was driving virtually with you, as you perfectly summarized the beast's gentle qualities.. Lovely country you have there also, how fortune it must be to have those idyllic UK country roads to jettison down. With the exceptions of those lumbering metal lane obstacles...
KingdomKom many thanks for your kind words and so glad you enjoyed it. However, those idyllic roads are in Ireland which is definitely not part of the UK. Keep watching as I’ve a four month of ownership vid with all the same production qualities coming soon.😜🙏🎥🏍
@@WheelieGoodTV And thank you for the correction.. I should remember the geopolitical structure of a divided country.. I promise not to step in that again!! Again, I shall look forward to your future video releases with great anticipation, Cheers...
Great production values, engaging dialogue, facts and emotions- brilliant!! Well done sir! I’ve always liked the old boat that is the FJR but wondered if it was still up to the mark , thanks for confirmation it’s still a contender 👍
Well done, good comprehensive real world review. Fjr is on the shortlist for my next bike, suppose the lack of a sxith gear was an issue for me, glad to hear you didnt find it an issue...
5 gears really isn't an issue David, take it from me. I've owned 4 Fjr's over the years and an Xjr too with 5 gears, when there's so much power and torque available you really don't need any more. Buy one and enjoy it! 👍
Mate Ive had my FJR1300 2007 model since new, it now has 150,000 k's and still looks like new, I love this bike more than anything, you will enjoy it for many years.
I love fjr13 's I'm on my fifth, they have evolved over time i had a 1st gen now I'm on a 2016 ae 6 speed and it is definitely the best I've had. Get one if you can.
I'm on my first FJR still, a 2007 that I bought used in 2013. But about the only thing I think I'd want from the newer ones is cruise control (mine just has a throttle lock.)
Drove around that route in my van when I lived in Dublin working for Tesco, now I'm back in London but will tour Ireland when allowed on my Ultimate I'm picking up in September, had a new AS in 2007 couldn't get on with it!
Very nice review. I bought new 2017 black FJR and must say, it was the best sport touring machine out there. Just well designed machine all around. Smooth, powerful enough, nice motor sound, soooo easy to work on. easy shift clicks up or down. For me, 6'4" I could not get comfortable for long rides. Had to sell it. I would say that the FJR is very close or same as Honda CBR Blackbird. Another super machine.
what a pleasant fellow. I've been strongly considering the honda st but you did such a great job i will have to reconsider. I spent a month in Ballyvaughn as a young man. don't know how close it is to ya but wow what a place to hang out.
Thanks very much! Ballyvaughan is one of my favourite places in Ireland. I’m occasionally down that way with work and the scenery is still breathtaking. When the lockdown is over I’m planning to take the bike down that way for a few days. It’s about a 4hr spin so will be great.
I just bought a 2001 model from the original owner. 7800k on the clock, it's like brand new. Looking forward to many long rides on my new bike, I absolutely love it!
Thank goodness I found someone whos the same height as me reviewing the bike. That sets my mind at ease. I wanna do my full test and upgrade to a bigger bike soon but don't wanna buy something that hurts my back. I once had an R125 and that bike is simply NOT designed for the shorter gentlemen. Lol
Scratch that, I watched your video about selling it and your reasons. We're the same height so that bike would be too big for me also. I guess its time to check out reviews for the 600 Fazer. 😅
I've had mine now for a couple of months, just clocked up 3000kms yesterday, I have had some high speeds in third and fifth gear and the engine is just purring, I did drop it going to the shop and as a short man,(5'5) really not sure how it happened 5k's worth of damage, (All superficial) but fantastic machine to ride, and I've had Ducati's many makes of BMW & Honda, this is by far the best bike I've ridden, and comfortable too, last week went on a 435kms round trip just fantastic to ride....
Wonderful video. Thank you. I know it's a cliché but I think this bike is overlooked. Have spent quality lockdown time researching my next bike. I think this could finally be the one.
Ridden and managed nearly 20 FJRs. 1 x Gen 2 and the rest Gen 3. Great bike in many ways. Very reliable over 60k miles each.Fantastic mile muncher. It is heavy to manhandle, can eat rear pads as caliper under slung, get filled with crud and rear shocks can go around 40K miles. Seat is firm, standard screen too small. Speedo on G3 reads nearly 10% fast. There is very little difference between 5 speed and 6 speed. Top is around 1mph longer. The 5th speed is already longer than most of it's contemporaries, ST1300, RT1200 and Trophy 1215 and some more recent models. At 6'2" it can be cramped in the leg after a few hours. Standard BT23s last well for such a heavy/powerful bike 9K on back quite often. Front handling susceptible to uneven front tyre wear, especially when dual compound centre starts forming a ridge. It isn't nimble enough for me and there are more comfortable, equally pleasurable 4 cylinder bikes out there. Sadly they don't have shafts.
Very interesting video and I love your natural accent! The police use these here in Western Australia for patrol, so that says something. Might have to find one to test ride, thanks.
Those and RT’s here in NSW. Took an RT for a demo ride, it was white, no stripes or lights but it was still quite weird. Ha ha ha. I enjoyed the laugh but if that was my chosen career I’d have to shave the beard and style the mustache ! Ha ha ha.
Cheers on an exciting review! I own an R1 on which I replaced the stock clipons for 4-inch high Apex clipons that I placed above the triple clamp giving me an actual rise of 5 inches and the ride has never been better (I am a young 61). Gone are the motorcycle top-heavy and body back-aching feelings. Yamaha has been making engines for car manufacturers including American for years for a good reason. Now I have a cruising R1 pocket rocket complete with Riding Tribe passenger seat bag similar to yours. Safe riding.
I bought a 2019 FJR. Great bike. I installed a Corbin seat and a VStream windshield, both very worthwhile improvements. My speedometer reads roughly 10% high. That might save you some speeding fines but it is annoying to have to mentally compensate for that. I use a Garmin GPS all of the time so I can see my actual speed. 13000 kms now and getting new tires installed before the bike goes into storage for the winter. Cheers from Canada!
My Toyota minivan reads 74 at 70 MPH, and Toyota said "6 separate sensors all agree, and the spec only requires it to be within 4%." I turned around and walked back in to explain the math to them, then took a deep breath, shook my head, walked out, and have lived with a wonderful van that lies to me 6 years. The Garmin is nice to have.
Just got a smokin deal on an low mileage 08 AE. No clutch on a bike feels lame at first but the super quick hand shifting is growing on me. Very neutral, stable geometry and turns in well if you know how to countersteer. The pegs are in a sporty position, right under you almost like it has rearsets.
On my second FJR which I've had for 14years, it hasn't missed a beat and I've been as far as Armenia on it from Wales. Sadly as it doesn't meet EU5 regulations the "FJR1300 Ultimate Edition" will be the last model here in the UK.
I am working away and just came across this. I ride these bikes for cu chulainn blood bikes around Louth Meath and Monaghan. As we say: there are some yoke. I bring my GSA up around Cavan early morning for a spin some roads. Love the haybarn
Nice review, I have the same Bike and love it. Often commute into London, great for filtering. I find I have to top up the fuel tank to the brim after the pump clicks in, to get it properly filled. Also fitted the Metzelers ROADTEC 01 tyres on recently and they have really transformed the bikes handling, especially cornering in the wet. Hope you have many year of happy riding!
I have same bike, Co Cork gen 2, great machine prefect review, just updated rear shock and front springs it really moves handles well for big bike. Enjoy and well ware.
This is the best bike ever for the guy who's not a 20-something Rossi wannabe but is also not ready to commit to being a full-time Gold Winger. I do have a Gold Wing, but I also have no plans on ever selling my 2006 FJR AE version.
I am thinking about trading my Tuono for this as I am thinking of doing longer rides The cockpit could use and upgrade but I am liking this bike a lot . I am still not ready to give up the excitement of riding a bike that is fast . No that I speed or anything like that but I am just saying .. Great video 👍
A truly outstanding bike; I have an 09 in nearly perfect condition. I would suggest adding auxiliary lights (I use Denalis) so you can establish a better view of yourself to oncoming drivers; it's called the triangle effect. Also, I was not in love with the horn or muffler so I installed a Dinali Soundblast horn and switched to a Beowulf carbon fiber muffler system. I hope you enjoy your bike as much as I've enjoyed mine and be safe out there.
Thanks for this review, well done! You mention that this FJR is the best sport-tour out there, and that you're owned 'loads of bikes'... have you owned sport or other sport tour bikes?
Hi Jeff, yes I believe I’ve had 30 or so bikes over the years. Lots of sport bikes including the CBR’s R1,R6 and Kawasaki’s. I’ve had sport tourers albeit slightly older ones compared to the FJR like the VFR800 and BMW RS. As well as owning a good few I’ve also ridden lots more, too many to list but in my opinion the FJR is still the best all round sports tourer. Cheers
@@WheelieGoodTV Thanks for this, helps a lot in making a decision. I'm coming from a Street Triple, which I LOVE, but my wife hates being on the back of (understandably). Just want something that is still fun to ride, yet comfortable for her... sounds like this will fit!

Yamaha changed to 6 gear from2016 as I know...Thanks for the video btw.
Great review - and, oh, that lovely Irish countryside! The FJR is my next bike after years on cruiser.
Thanks pal. Yes we’re spoiled with this playground for bikers in Ireland. I still believe the FJR is possibly the best bike on the road.👍🏍
Enjoyed the review and its a great bike. ( NL Canada )
Wow, that’s a lot of changes there Steve. A bike for life now though. Ride safe!👍🏍
Two things I have been thinking about doing and you have sold me on both,
I have been looking at getting the fjr for a few weeks now and I have watched a few reviews and yours has made me want to get one even more now,
the other thing I have wanted to do is visit Ireland and seeing how beautiful it is there has made me want to get the fjr and tour Ireland,
I watched one review and nearly every other word was it is a heavy bike or it is top heavy but even though you mentioned the weight you said it was not noticeable,
It was a very good review you made and I am now going to make the phone call to the seller
Hi Peck666. Please watch my six month review and then the reason I had to sell her. Turns out she was heavy as everyone else told me. All individuals of course!
I have a 2005... And I love it. Now its winter and I can't ride... So thank you for giving me something to itch my riding crave.
Great review Dave. And good to see you're enjoying it - thanks for the shout out!
Hi Patrick checking in from USA nice machine I have 2008 fjr1300ae and your right absolute blast to ride
Great production values, engaging dialogue, facts and emotions- brilliant!!
Well done sir!
I’ve always liked the old boat that is the FJR but wondered if it was still up to the mark , thanks for confirmation it’s still a contender 👍
mihai thanks so much for your kind words! Comments like this inspire me to keep bringing vids.🙏🎥
A beautiful bike and even more beautiful country side. Thank you for an excellent video.
Thanks for the feedback! 🙏🏍
Im glad to hear it fits you like a glove. Im 5'4 and am looking at 06 to 2011 FJRs. I ordered sime daytona Mstar gtx boots to help with the height.
Mate Ive had my FJR1300 2007 model since new, it now has 150,000 k's and still looks like new, I love this bike more than anything, you will enjoy it for many years.
Hopefully! I love the bike so much. ❤️🏍
Hopefully! I love the bike so much. ❤️🏍
So true that engine is music to the ears. I’m still running stock pipes on my 2013 FJR1300A. She is also a nimble big girl
One of the best engine notes ever introduced on a bike. 👌
I love fjr13 's I'm on my fifth, they have evolved over time i had a 1st gen now I'm on a 2016 ae 6 speed and it is definitely the best I've had. Get one if you can.
I’d love the 2016 model. Maybe next year. ❤️🏍
I'm on my first FJR still, a 2007 that I bought used in 2013. But about the only thing I think I'd want from the newer ones is cruise control (mine just has a throttle lock.)
@@txviking cruise control is superb be wary of the sense of not being fully in control 😂.
Love, “There ain’t any song on my phone that sounds better than this engine!” ❤️❤️❤️
owned one some time ago, great bike - loved it. I do miss it from time to time, but I got a K1600 and am very happy with it.
Another gorgeous bike!🏍
Drove around that route in my van when I lived in Dublin working for Tesco, now I'm back in London but will tour Ireland when allowed on my Ultimate I'm picking up in September, had a new AS in 2007 couldn't get on with it!
I love my FJR as well. Thanks for the ride through the Irish countryside!
Very welcome, thanks for coming along.👍🏍
Got one just like it! Good review! Don’t worry about seeing the Speedo, just twist that throttle 😀
Very nice editing 👍
And thank you very much!🙏🎥
Beautifully shot and edited BTW. Great review !
Thanks! 🙏🎥🏍️
I’d love to try the newer one like you had but then I know what would happen. 💰 💵 🏍😂
Thanks for the review as I have a 2002 blade now and its time to stop getting aches haha. love your comedy style .
what a pleasant fellow.
Enjoy Brad! Superb bike. 🏍👍
Great review on this massive yet gorgeous bike. You were brief and to the point, Peace.
Many thanks Juan! Appreciated 🙏🏍
My wife loves our FJR1300 but I still prefer my Harley Davidson when I ride alone.
Great video!
6th gear went on 2016 bikes and on. I own a 2015 and only 5 gears. Great video
No Fear thanks! I’ll put a graphic up over that to correct. 👍🏍
great review! from Sweden //Johnny
Thanks Johnny.👍🏍
Would like to see a comparison between the FJR and Kawasaki Versys 1000
Fantastic review and what a beautiful bike!
Tony, what`s your inside leg measurement , I`m not too sure if the seat height would suit me, thanks .
@@serberious I think 29 inches.....
Wonderful video. Thank you. I know it's a cliché but I think this bike is overlooked. Have spent quality lockdown time researching my next bike. I think this could finally be the one.
Thanks. I was in the same position last April and delighted I chose this. It has everything I want in a bike and more. Incredible machine! Good luck.
RUclips Trucker sounds amazing!🏍💪
Nice video, thanks. I own a 2007 FJR. Also had loose screws on my windscreen.
Heard a lot of good things about the Corbin seats. Must look into one as I’m finding the stock saddle painful on long journeys.
My Toyota minivan reads 74 at 70 MPH, and Toyota said "6 separate sensors all agree, and the spec only requires it to be within 4%."
I turned around and walked back in to explain the math to them, then took a deep breath, shook my head, walked out, and have lived with a wonderful van that lies to me 6 years. The Garmin is nice to have.
I honestly thought this bike was a 2014 and up. I am purchasing a 2008 next week and this review motivated me even more towards buying it.
You won’t regret buying it. Unbelievable bike. It was and still is so ahead of its time on so many levels. Safe riding.🙏🏍
@@WheelieGoodTV I am 5'9 and was wondering if my feet will lay flat on the ground. What do you think?
Quintin Williams. Yes I’d say you would be able to depending on your inside leg length of course but should be no problem at 5’9”.
Excellent video, very well producted, your a pro.
At the gas stations, they put a long stick into the tanks under the pavement to get a reading. Maybe that will work.
Fantastic video Dave, Am I was this your first video on RUclips? Honestly seeing the countryside makes me home sick! Good work sir! 👏
Cheers Murt! Yes this was my very first vid on RUclips and it still gets more views than any other.
Toyed with the thought of buying one but opted for the Kawasaki GTR 1400 instead which after much tweeking I am very happy with.
Yeah they’re a beautiful machine too. Good luck and ride safe.🏍
On my second FJR which I've had for 14years, it hasn't missed a beat and I've been as far as Armenia on it from Wales. Sadly as it doesn't meet EU5 regulations the "FJR1300 Ultimate Edition" will be the last model here in the UK.
beebeer54 wow sounds like a great trip! I’d love the black/gold ultimate edition but I didn’t fill out a lotto ticket tonight so I’ve no chance!😜🏍👍
I am working away and just came across this. I ride these bikes for cu chulainn blood bikes around Louth Meath and Monaghan. As we say: there are some yoke. I bring my GSA up around Cavan early morning for a spin some roads. Love the haybarn
Small world John! Yes we’re spoiled in Cavan with these twisties hi! Thanks for getting in touch.👍🏍
great review! i love FRJs and am looking to purchase one after selling my 2005 long ago. thanks!!
Thanks Nate.
Heard about these tyres.....next on the shopping list!😬 Thanks for watching 🙏
Beautiful video! Nice review. You touched on some things that concerned me…. Booooooy that gas gauge is annoying. But I love the bike. I’m hooked 😁
Thanks for your kind words Mark. Appreciated
Great bike, have a gen 3 as 2015 and enjoy every spin
I have same bike, Co Cork gen 2, great machine prefect review, just updated rear shock and front springs it really moves handles well for big bike. Enjoy and well ware.
Funny I’ve seen around Co Cork. Maybe one was you?! Cheers.🙏🏍
Potholes you say, same as in the UK !. Lovely bike the FJR.
This is the best bike ever for the guy who's not a 20-something Rossi wannabe but is also not ready to commit to being a full-time Gold Winger. I do have a Gold Wing, but I also have no plans on ever selling my 2006 FJR AE version.
Totally agree. It’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. 👍🏍
Your confusing mix of kilometres and miles and litres and gallons had my head spinning haha. Good review though cheers from Australia 🦘
Beautiful country and bike
I am thinking about trading my Tuono for this as I am thinking of doing longer rides
The cockpit could use and upgrade but I am liking this bike a lot . I am still not ready to give up the excitement of riding a bike that is fast . No that I speed or anything like that but I am just saying ..
Great video 👍
These bikes will put down a 10 second quarter mile time and hit 140mph.. How fast do you want to go on public roads?
A truly outstanding bike; I have an 09 in nearly perfect condition. I would suggest adding auxiliary lights (I use Denalis) so you can establish a better view of yourself to oncoming drivers; it's called the triangle effect. Also, I was not in love with the horn or muffler so I installed a Dinali Soundblast horn and switched to a Beowulf carbon fiber muffler system. I hope you enjoy your bike as much as I've enjoyed mine and be safe out there.
Thanks for the info! I was thinking about lights funny enough. I’ll look into them. Cheers 🙏🏍
Nice vid and review. Great machine... I love mine.
I love it
Thanks for this review, well done!
Just wondering what type of valve adjustment does this motor require?
Brill video iv just bought same model as u and love it
Enjoy it Kevin. Still the best bike I’ve ever owned!
My old knack, zrx1200 only had 5 gears and had massive under seat storage, bikini fairing , could do 160 bolt upright cheers shane uk 🇬🇧
