Hi Nick. When this started I thought, mention Classic-Rides but you beat me to it😃 I just ordered the Day Tripper panniers from CR. I have also ordered the brown comfort seat for my T120. The chocolate bags are out of stock at the moment, but Matt at CR advised they would be back in February but I decided to go with the sand coloured ones, although not similar to the brown seat, I like the contrast. The CR range is small but looks great and so well priced. I do like the SW Legend panniers you bought but the rails look too product specific for me, but guess they could accommodate other bags with the right ties. First run out today on the T120 and the Scrambler 900 without the bikes coated in muck so far this year! Regards Den
Awesome Dennis 👏 happy with the SW ones and wanted a gum fixing on the panniers. It’s been a grim wet winter, keeping my fingers crossed we get some dryer weekend rolling into spring 🤞😂
Stroll on summertime so you can get those trips in. Your going to have some good times on that bike this year for sure. The bags look great for the bike 👍
Hi Nick Great set up now Have to say Ilove the bags etc that Matt at classic rides supplies all superb quality and really suits our Bonnevilles Been watching your camping videos really useful thanks so much
wax bag, what a brilliant idea, shame we have to lock everything, have to get in a short trip with some luggage filled bags to get a feeling of how the bike reacts to some weight, Kriega a premium product.
Hi 👋 David, hope your well, weather seams to be kinda getting better. Busy for next couple weeks but still need to grab a brew see your new bike at some point 👍 yes I just think the bags match nicely with the classic look. 👌
I thought the Triumph seat has built in tabs for for attaching roll bags to ? …good call for securing the canvas bags and making them lockable , will get some later when they make a frame to fit my bike ..
Great vid, very informative! Are there strap attachments on the underside of the seat that can be used to attach the tail bag, as another option? Thanks!
I have the grab rail and racks for my side bags and I hem I strap a bag onto the back seat I just use these. Here take a look ruclips.net/video/FS3Ot_rtQCM/видео.htmlsi=tJxYSEhBpjJ0AkhT
Completely agree on the 'thinner' Rock straps, I'm surprised we don't see more people raving about them. I secured a large sailing type 'dry bag' on my rear seat that I used as an 'overnight bag'' on the Santander ferry and it was rock solid. Kind of surprised SW Motech provide waterproof inner bags for a 'waterproof bag', that is so easily removeable from the bike? Looks a good set up, and matches the bike very nicely. Slummit or Jackal II ?? Some good prices on a Jackall II at the minute.
Yes love rock straps, best tie down solution really. The Motech bags are only fully waterproof with the inner bags. So on the tents the Jackel 2 is a warmer tent, higher rain static rating. But I like how easy the Slumit goes up. Both good tents though.
@@MOTOUK1 Ah, I guess I misunderstood on the waterproof thing.with the Motech bags. If I''m honest if they are not waterproof I'd prefer a cover on the outside to keep the worst of the weather off them (my panniers aren't waterproof either, but come with a 'waterproof' 🤣🤣 'outer'.) I use a kayak/sailing 'Dry bag' inside the cases as they are cheap and 100% waterproof. (In my limited experience) Hmm..... As I've said, I'm new... I've just finished watching your tour of the Alps....and your trip with your daughter. I know you considered it, but I think I would have been very tempted to trade the MT-10 for the Triumph Tiger 1200 Exployer. I'm guessing it was a business decision in the end? If you have a boat , that may be another idea for another channel too.
Hi Paul, 👋 loved the Europe trip and will be doing a trip to Spain on the Bonneville this year. While i absolutely loved the tiger 1200, i feel i don’t do enough touring to warrant having such a bike and also would fear i would not ride it enough, having the MT10 and now Bonneville. If i did multiple europe trips a year i would definitely have a tiger as was such a great comfy capable machine to munch up those miles. 👍
Looks like a good setup! Kriega do a steel core security strap for soft panniers. Angus (Red Ang Revival) uses them on his Triumph Speedmaster. They are featured in his video “How And What I Pack For A Motorbike Tour / Will It Fit?”
@@paullee6663 yes i think it is and tbh i dont think its a viable solution to soft side panniers but fits well with the LoanRider 30lt/50lt roll top bags
Looks stunning nick with all the bags on 👍 just got the action 3 camera wondering who you change the volume gain on the camera ? Keep up the great vids 👍
Hi 👋 thanks I love the t120 looks now. So on the action set the db to -12, tbh it’s still not low enough for motovlogging that’s why I use a stand alone audio recorder for my sound and not the action mic input
New subscriber Very interesting video is your jacket by Merlin and if so how do rate it please. Just watched your Slumit club 2 video just going to order one👍
Hi Chris and welcome to the channel 🙏 yes the Merlin Edale jacket is one of the best I have owned. Very warm in winter and cool in summer as the liner is a material that was used by nasa for the space program. The cub 2 tent is so easy to set up. One of my pet hates of setting tents up as we get older is it’s not easy so this tent solves that. Also if you travelling and have to set up / take down all the time, it’s far simpler.
Thanks for featuring the tail-bag Nick, it really suits your bike. Just need the weather to cheer up now so we can get out and ride properly!
Hey Matt 👋 no problem love the bag thanks for producing it 👍 yes looking forward to warmer dryer days ☔️😂👍
Yes looks the Biz Nick and I love my new shoulder and tool roll from Matt ( classic Rides ) supplied last weekend
Love the stuff 😊
What I love about nowadays gear is that they are so practical and fully waterproof
Looks spot on Nick….roll on spring!! 😀
Cheers 🍻 very happy with it

Hey Gerry 👋 no not seen any tabs on the seat, I will check now but certain it does not.
Nice neat bags there Nick she's all ready to go look forward seeing some good stuff when the weather picks up "hopefully'' in the next few months .👍👌

Love that Black bike
locks on canvas bags are counter productive. They tell the world that you value the contents and they are defeated by a Stanley knife so...

Water proof liners yes

Have the 18ltr ones too, I’ve been meaning to fit one 18lt and one 9lt so you can see the difference. Will show on next video Sunday

I am an older rider, l need back support for long rides, is there an attachment to give me the support l need?
Not unless your a pillion as they do a pillion support. Never seen a bike come to think of it with back support, isn’t that called a car 😂
@@MOTOUK1 l have one of those. I do need the back support though because l have had major back surgery.

Haha 😂 Yamaha is all protected with acf50 and clean, shame to get both bikes all covered in salt. Still love the Yamaha and she will be out soon.
