If this deal ends, it will be the end of Misfits. No other boxing production is as big as DAZN at the moment. With Dazn being international it will be a big hit for Misfits if they decide to go local.

DAZN has been losing money at huge operational losses. Beginning of the year was an improvement but it doesn't change the fac they lost over a billion in 2023

I think it’s just cause they have to many accounts and employees to be on the same page because I remember misfits 001 leaked on Spanish DAZN website randomly which I think happened again another time
They probably want to put pressure on KSI to get him out of there. They are a boxing business at the end of the day. They can probably see market trends and influencer boxing is on its 14th minute of fame. DAZN milked it for all it had and now the milk has run dry.
Jake has stated this before, that KSI's team and management are unprofessional and bad with communication.
Jake learned from his first few bouts that talent managers matter, which is why he works with Nikisa.

Ksi can blame Dazn all he wants for the downfall of Misfits but in reality, its him and his team. Not putting more relevant American influencers on main cards, changing judge commissions because he was salty, not forcing promotion from the small British influencers he has on the cards, and now he's fighting "against his will" aka he couldn't decide who to fight on time and wanted to be too mysterious. His best bet of a first step on bringing back Misfits is having actually relevant youtubers and streamers not British Only Fans models and friends that aren't really known.

That's exactly what is happening bro, and it's a culmination of things. One being the gimmick fights over and over again and then putting on "warm up" fights constantly instead of real rivalries and matchs that'll have amazing anticipation.

One of Misfits' biggest setbacks is that they failed to find a proper PPV star to replace KSI, or at least they failed to properly harnass _potential_ PPV replacements. When it's at a point where you're forcing KSI to come out of his break early just to fill a PPV spot in the contract, you've messed up. Salt Papi should've been given a main event spot after 004, not fed to AT on _another_ undercard. His hype train was at an all time high at that point but for some reason Mams just kept gatekeeping him for KSI's undercards to inflate the numbers as high as possible. Great for the turnover of those specific cards, but ultimately a horrible decision in the long run since Salt's hype train completely diminished before his first main event spot.
This 100% feeding him to AT was the dumbest thing. Should’ve gave him a trash can to keep his hype train and give him a main event
Also shoukdve had slim go on a main event run but now his stock will crash once ksi knocks him out also I swear jay swingler is second in most main events under ksi
100% agree, best assessment I have seen yet. This explains it perfectly, till this day it never made sense why he was fed to AT, that is on mams and was such a idiotic decision to make. His draw power was at a different level back then and at the time, he was seen as the one second to KSI lol.
Beyond KSI the only stars they had were salt and deen, salt lost his hype train and deen barely fights. People that say Slim is PPV material are just waffling to fit the narrative of why Slim should be fighting KSI that's literally the only reason. Slim outside of misfits is not a draw, his draw power peaked at the ppv shows he was on but his lack of activity and content as well as things out of misfits is what is hindering his ability to grow.
If he does lose to KSI next month and in a bad way, as much as people are going to deny it so they can suit their narrative rn, it's gonna hurt Slim's draw power.
This is just another stupid rushed move by Mams

Agreed, they failed to market Salt Papi properly. The AT fight with just 3 rounds was so ridiculous, but that was the fault of Keemstar since both was signed to happy punch. If they walked away his value would have still been there
Tbh KSI is right, you would think that 2 years into DAZN's relationship with Misfits they would fix their mistakes like audio issues, leaks, and camera angles. And let's not forget DAZN has been doing boxing events since like 2018 so they know what they're doing. And my belief with what happens is DAZN and Misfits will keep their 5 year contract and probably not renew another 5 year contract unless Misfits find other PPV stars who isn't KSI.
I 100% agree with Misfits for being frustrated, but once again they could run into problems by handling their business in public. It comes across as unprofessional and will be the downfall of X Series

Im not a Jake Paul fan by any means, but the only “influencer” boxer I ever really cared to watch was Jake Paul. Its interesting to see how far he can go because he genuinely takes it serious. Never really cared for misfits or any other events really. I just watch UFC and real boxing fights.
