  • Testing the Forge Direct Custom Katana on targets ranging from water filled bottles, pool noodles, cardboard boxes and aged bamboo.
    Two swords were tested, one a 27" Nagasa blade with partial bo-hi (fuller). The other is an O-Katana.
    The expertly honed edges need only touch a waterbottle to cut it.

    wow...seems to be sharp like hell....nice;-)...which kind of steel are they?...any edge damage after the coconut?...great to see another video from you! greets from Solingen:-)

      They are T10 tool steel (my favorite for a sharp edged, differentially hardened Katana). No edge damage, rolling or even marks from the coconut.

    How does the sword fare against pig meat ?
